Barnes & Noble

05/28/23: this bookstore is located in a convenient spot which is near Whole Foods Market and Trader’s Joe. The space is enormous with a variety of books and reading areas. They also have a small cafeteria inside the store. I spent a lot of time reading here and learning many things.

Pretty good coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee. We order Chai Tea Latte and it tastes even better than at Starbucks.

I really love this place, adam and taylor at the cafe are super nice and i always love talking to them. they have a good selection of books for the space. my only gripe with the cafe is that there's not enough charge ports in case your devices die and the outlets they have extending from the whole foods side of the wall are dodgy at best, those power strips barely ever work.

I don't know who the Sassy Goth was that helped me tonight but they saved me. I was in the bookhole something fierce....you know, just aimlessly wondering, knowing I'm going to be engulfed in the no book boredom this evening because nothing was hitting that spot. When out of nowhere this beautiful creature hands me two books...two perfect books. No words, They knew, I knew... I bought those two books and left. I finished the first in 2.5 hours 5🌟 I will be back and will buy anything this person puts in my hands. Thank you Sassy Goth, and your book witchery.

Comfortable and quiet space. Service is good, I got my jacket back by lost&found service.

Having the cafe inside makes it the perfect (and most dangerous) place as I’ll get lost in a book and mocha for hours here.

Pros:
• good book collection; but since it’s a smaller location you may have to order in more niche books and whatnot you’re looking for
• decently sized location
• has a Starbucks cafe here

Cons:
• cafe can get busy, avoid busy hours or you won’t find seating
• there’s barely any seating inside the store itself
• parking lot can get kinda crazy in this shopping center due to the restaurants and grocery stores

I’m thoroughly impressed. I had not been inside a Barnes and Noble for years. The store was impeccable and the staff came up to make genuine knowledge conversation about books I was looking at. Loved everyone minute of it! It’s clear this store is doing something right.

What a great place to get some admin done. Great wifi, and coffee, what more does one need??

Good collection of books, nice location, friendly staff. parking is challenging during weekends. They also have a Starbucks inside with some seating.

As a manager in the hospitality and food industry, I have a pretty high standard for service and hospitality. Kyra(it’s pronounced a little differently so I hope I spelled it correctly) was incredible. Very respectful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I don’t read a lot of books, and even though Barnes and Noble didn’t have the book I was looking for…I know where I’m going for my future bookworm needs. 10/10 would recommend this location. 11/10 would recommend asking Kyra for help

Great reduced-sized bookstore! They really have an admirable selection for the size they have to work with. They also have a very roomy Cafe area serving Starbucks if that's the blend you like. My only hope is that they can stock more magazines than they currently do.

I like the new Barnes and Noble. Much smaller stores are probably better suited for for their battle with the big box Internet stores (yes, I am looking at Amazon).
The layout is nice and well labeled for easy shopping.

Love this place! There is so many book selection. Starbucks is conveniently next to it. So grab your books and coffee at the same time.

Very helpful staff. Clean and organized. Has a Cafe, like many of the Barnes & Noble, unlike the Bellevue branch. Parking is a bit of a nightmare & so is getting out of the mall strip. The various Barnes & Noble existing in greater Seattle still cannot beat the Barnes in Noble in Issaquah that was closed due to Costco buying out the space. That store has great layout, cozy spaces, great staff esp Manager (prior to 2019) & the Cafe was awesome, not to mention great parking, & location for walking & near good stores. This Totem Lake branch is pretty close to Issaquah store vibe, except for parking problems.

Great atmosphere to read or do work. Love the great content selection and courteous staff. Also a great place to find new board or card games as well as collectibles.

I don't know why most starbucks in B&N are better than standalone stores, but this is certainly true for this location! Staff is really nice, store is really clean.

Great selection of books, nice areas to sit and enjoy a preview of the books. Nice coffee shop inside the store.

The environment is always so welcoming and friendly. All the staff are very kind and the whole place just radiates calm. Totally recommend for studying, book-buying and relaxing.

Lovely clean store, super helpful and friendly staff, pretty good selection for the location and close to tons of shops. They keep the displays fresh which makes it fun to check out every week!
