Laurie Meadows Park

Friendly neighborhood dog park which was recently redone. It used to be filled with pot holes and crabby grass/ dirt. Now its nicely leveled out with fine gravel on the top layer. Some of the locals don't like the use of the gravel because it gets into the paws of their dogs, but it's similar to the other parks in San Mateo.

Street parking only and a short walk to the fenced dog area. Many people use the grassy areas to play catch with their dogs as it's a much larger area. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the neighborhood.

Update: very nice that there are lights on at night which provided sufficient visibility after the sun goes down.

This is large park that has two play structures: one for toddlers (2 to 5 years old) and one for older kids (5 to 12 years old). Those are the recommendations so you decide what your child can handle with your supervision. There's a huge green field where you can play sports and games. There's no baseball diamond though. There's also a paved walking path, a designated dog park, and a bridge that connects to Casanova Park where there are bathrooms.

Basketball court.
Parking alittle hard but worth coming here. We live in near Daly City and don't mind the drive on a nice day.

Love this dog park. The staff keep updating it to make it more dog friendly and easier on maintenance.

There used to be grass, and now it's gravel and the trees are protected. It looks great.

This is also a great place to bring your kids to the park as well.

A great neighborhood find with something for everyone of all ages. From outdoor playgrounds for the young ones, bbq pits and tables for family outings and events, to a baseball field and fenced-in in dog playground. Thr dog park was recently renovated with decomposed granite replacing dog dug holes and weedy grass. Its a great park for fun times.

Great park in San Mateo.. 1 youth baseball field, great for kids to run around. Great for families to gather at for any occasion.

Big tunnel slides and great innovative play structures for all ages (including dads who want to climb up tunnel slides)

I have been here a few times, and this Park never disappoints. I taken photos of the fields and the play grounds, today is was Sunset Times.

Great park for my small dog.

Nice neighborhood and park overall where you can walk your dog. The dog park issued itself is clean. It is not huge, but perfect for our small dog to get some running in.

Beautiful new park with a large play structure for older kids and one for younger kids. Large grassy area to play on too. A little bit of shade available in the afternoon. No bathrooms on site but there's restrooms at the adjacent park right across the river, so it's not too bad. Lots of picnic tables, some of which can be reserved in advance.

Love this park. Big enough for my dog to run around and play fetch. And going in the afternoon is like doggy happy hour.

This is a very nice neighbourhood park with a kids play area that my 9 year old loves. There are picnic areas and a walking/biking path.

This park is a pretty nice enjoyed by lots of kids my daughter has soccer practice here so it's always busy. They have a dog park nearby seems nice lots of use.

Great local park for families. Multiple play structures with unique features to keep little ones and even bigger kids entertained. Large grassy area in the middle for relaxing on a picnic blanket or playing some soccer, and a path around the perimeter for walking/biking.

Spent sometime with my niece and her 3 kids at the playground. The kids loved jumping, spinning, climbing and sliding. By time we got ready to leave I was sitting/resting in anticipation of the walk back to the house. I admit it, chasing 4, 6 & 8 year old kids around took a toll on this 63 year old Great Uncle. Nice park!

Grew up in this neighborhood...this was my park as a kid. Much has changed, but this is a great park. Plenty of room for organized sports, a fenced in dog area, and a bridge that connects it to Casanova park, essentially making it two parks in one. Lots of ducks there too, they're aways fun to watch.

Nice neighborhood park with a huge grassy area to play ball. There is a playground for smaller kids and a work-out area in the back. This park is nice too, because there is a special gated part for dogs to run free. Good mixture of sunny and shadowy parts.

Pretty awesome park. There's 2 different ones - a side for the older kids and a side for the younger. Huge field of grass and a track to walk around. Also there's a somewhat hidden park across the bridge in the very back

My dogs had a blast here. The park has a ton of grass and a nice large area for dogs to run around.

There is no dividing area for small and large dogs, so heads up in case this is a concern for you.
