El Rosal Tortilla Factory

So, today, my brother, my nephew, and I stopped in for some breakfast and damn were we impressed. We all ordered Chilaquiles. I had mine with chicharron. The red sauce was deliciously full of flavor and made in house. The tortillas chips are of course made there on sight. Its a tortilla factory also and have fresh tortillas wrapped in foil ready for locals to pick up. They also have regular packaged tortillas to sell. This is definitely a must stop and try. The menu has different options and I am excited to come back and try more. I met the owners and they were very welcoming and friendly. Sarah was walking around personally checking on the customers. Truly a family oriented place.

I had tacos and my boyfriend a chimichanga. We did get a burrito to go. The burrito is very big, probably the size of my forearm. Very yummy and chips and salsa are the best (we ordered a side to go)

Everything is made in house! The corn tortillas are pliable and fresh! They don’t taste like the ones from the supermarkets at all. The tostadas are not oily nor excessive salty. They are just right!!

This is not only a tortilla factory, it also makes authentic Mexican food! One of the BEST I’ve had in Reno. The meats are well seasoned. The beans are cooked just to my liking!

Would definitely visit here again and again!

I've been looking for authentic Mexican meals since moving to Nevada and found the place after four years. I highly recommend. If you're looking for Margarita's or fancy drinks this is not the place; however, if you're looking for homemade authentic food, this is it!!

Loved this place. It’s very casual with lots of open seating. The employees were friendly and attentive. The food was great! I had the carnitas plate. The pork itself was delicious and the arroz y frijoles were possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. This is my new go-to for authentic Mexican food.

First time been here and the food was AMAZING! At first I questioned cost, then I saw portions, more than worth it. Will indefinitely be going back.

The tortillas are amazing! Soft, and full of corn flavor, with just the right amount of chewiness.
The beef tacos were the best I've had in years, and the Chile relleno burrito was superb.

My family and I ate here yesterday, and oh my goodness it was delicious! We ordered the carne asada and mula. I have never had a mula before but I will be coming back for this again! It was so good! We took home some corn and flour tortillas too and I will never buy store bought again! Huge difference! I made quesadillas at home and they were the best I’ve ever made because of the flour tortillas! Thank you Sarah! We will be coming back here more often to try everything else on the menu!

I go out of my way on a regular basis to pick up batches of corn tortillas from El Rosal because they're just that good. For $2.50 you get a huge stack of fresh tortillas that are ten times better than anything you'd get from a standard grocery. I'm looking forward to trying their deli sometime soon too!

Amazing authentic Mexican food from the source. Hard to find, worth the search! Best tacos in town. Menudo is to die for!

Ordered sopes, they were good. Also bought prepared tamale masa. Can't wait to get started! If you are into home made tortillas or gorditas they also have pre-made tortillas masa.

My kids and I love this place! The food is legit and full of flavor! Closest I've come to my son Abuela's cooking. Staff is great and has our orders memorized!

We have a party so we went and get some order to go for 200 people we order rice beans tortillas and chicken fajitas for our party they treat us good good price and food was warm and ready to serve

El Rosal is a store/restaurant mixed together. The food is excellent! The salsa is a somewhat thick sauce based with a touch of chipotle flavor. The abodaba with cilantro and onion was amazing. The pork was more like a pulled pork, meat tied loosely together, cooked for a very long time in a broth, rather than separate long pieces. Inside decorum in Jalisco based.

Authentic Los Angeles style Mexican food. Al pastor, carnitas, carne asada, all the best you can get in Reno! Cheap for what you get. Massive burritos and killer tacos. Try the enchiladas you won't be disappointed! Best homemade horchada and tres leches cake in the area. Great staff and family owned/operated. You can't go wrong

Always stop by and grab tortillas, carnitas and spices when I'm in town. Great products and prices!
