The Barns of Madison County LLC

I frequently talk about how much I love The Barns of Madison County. I photographed my couple's engagement session there in the summer and their wedding there in the fall and both were spectacular. Allison and Robert were so kind and made us feel right at home. They've built up quite a beautiful venue with perfect views of the Shenandoah in all four seasons. As a photographer, I'm in love: they've provided perfect indoor spaces with large windows and a beautiful house, lots of outdoor shaded areas, a perfect patio in between the two barns, and amazing views in every direction. I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

My son was married October 12, 2021. My husband and I were helping the planning remotely. My conversations were easy and reassuring. When we got to the venue the day before we were blown away. It was perfect! The resident horses even cooperated-adding to the ambiance. I would not change anything from that day, and would use The Barns… again and again if I could.

Dear Owners, me and my partner of 5 years moved to 47 Hughes River Road a few years ago as our first house/place together and for this, we cherish our memories there and think of them every single day. Back when we originally viewed the house before renting, we instantly fell in love with the serenity and tranquility this road specifically has along with the breathtaking views of rolling mountains and sunsets for miles. We love and miss that house so much and me and my partner always tell each other that if we win the lottery we are going to go buy that house because that is where our heart is. While living there, we would take our dogs on evening walks down this beautiful gravel road and we passed that beautiful red barn every day and I always stopped to admire. We miss it every day. I was thrilled to learn that there was a wedding venue in Etlan because that small little town is rooted in our hearts forever. When I clicked on your page, I instantly recognized that beautiful red barn and scenery as the place next door to our old house and I just fell in love. I am writing this in hopes that you never close this venue down, ever, in years to come because this is where home is to me and it would be so incredibly special to have my wedding here, in the place that was first home to me and my partner. My dream now is to get married here, when the day comes ( hopefully🤞🏼). In summary, this place is breathtakingly beautiful and means so much to us as we have our best memories here. By far the best venue I have ever come across ❤

The Barns of Madison County was the best decision we could've made for our venue! We used them for both our ceremony and reception. From start to finish, their team was accommodating, professional, and so fun to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous, and offers an experience that makes you feel like you're in your own little world. Our guests are still raving about the views and the beauty of the barns.

We are ready to do it all over again!!! Love this place!!!
