Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cheyenne Southwest/Downtown Area

We were there recently for a funeral. The staff could not have been nicer. They accommodated us even upgraded our room based on the situation and other factors.

The complimentary breakfast was very good, especially given the local competition. The lobby was kept clean and as dry as possible given the winter weather. The crew was shoveling snow constantly and fighting the ice. In Wyoming, this is not an easy task, but the crew rose to the occasion.

The elevator was very slow in opening and closing, but that is better than a slamming door. The room was clean and replacement supplies were readily available.

I would stay in this hotel again and will do so on my next trip to Cheyenne.

Great quality service and very reasonably priced. I truly appreciate the use of their computer, and knowing that it was not only up to date with current applications and programs, it was "at full throttle" very quick. They are very professional and courteous with Federal Service Dogs as well. Thanks for the service and all that you do.

Exceptional - a well managed facility!! Secure main entrance, great breakfast, friendly staff and a quiet, well-kept newer property with easy access! We travel pretty frequently, rarely write reviews. However, this property deserves a “shout out!”

In the front lobby they have an “info station” that was not only well stocked but organized. The pool and hot tub were both warm and the area was very clean with lots of nice chairs/tables. The deep end of the pool was only 4-1/2’ but it was great for the kids!! Showers have full-size, pump-style North 36 shampoo, conditioner & body wash that were all filled (sometimes I find these are empty or won’t pump). The breakfast bar was very clean, open and offered ample seating within a few sections to offer a little privacy. It had a wide variety of options from hot to cold - the oatmeal bar even had canisters of dried fruits/toppings. All of the staff were professional and friendly including the housekeepers!

They’ve thought of all the small details to ensure you have a comfortable stay and as a guest it made all the difference for us. Thank you Fairfield Downtown for providing a relaxing family getaway - we will be back to visit again!!

Comfortable, quiet and clean. The free continental breakfast was one of the best I've seen in years -- stocked with many hot and cold options, as well as healthy and indulgent, depending on your preference. The room was spotless and included additional sanitizing wipes for common surfaces, just to be safe. The showers were heavenly, offering amazing water pressure and high-end shower products. The hotel does sit across from a railroad track, but I'm assuming they've used additional soundproofing, because we never heard a thing. We simply enjoyed the added entertainment of the trains passing by. Slept like babies and would happily return in a heartbeat.

Really nice Fairfield Inn and Suites. Was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the awesome breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

This SpringHill is easy access to downtown (they even have Lime scooters outside) and it’s recently updated.

The front desk is super helpful whenever I lock my key or need to shift my reservation.

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at recently, this place is hands down the best one! The rooms are extremely clean, the staff are friendly, restaurants close by, and we felt really comfortable here.

Across the street from an active railroad track, but the soundproofing is impeccable. It actually made it fun to watch the trains. Price is a bit high, but so is everything else at the moment. We paid $206, but there are some prices online north of $300. In my opinion…..worth it!

Clean room, nice place, good breakfast and great staff! Brianna at the front desk was very helpful! I enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long day of driving. The hotel is easy to find, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

I'm pretty picky when it comes to hotels and this one was absolutely wonderful. Clean, modern rooms with quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Keurig coffee maker in the room-- with coffee! Customer service was awesome all around. Glad we paid a bit more to stay here than choosing a cheaper option nearby once we arrived in Cheyenne I could see an huge difference and it was worth the extra money. Beds super comfy and pillows were nice. Thanks for the awesome stay!

The young man (that visited NYC once) who was behind the desk(I forgot his name) was super friendly and helpful! The decor in the room was western and made me feel more connected to this beautiful western city. The room was clean. The couch had some wear to it but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Breakfast was really good. We had the suite room with two TVs, just perfect for a family.

We had a wonderful stay. Rooms clean, cool ambient music when we entered. Staff was great, especially night shift staff - Tracy and Brian! Thank you . Trains aren’t loud but if you have kids it’s an extra bonus! Very close to old downtown as well as the business area to the north. We will stay here again

Our stay was great. I had requested a pack and play and a roll-out bed and extra towels. They already had them in my room before I checked in. Breakfast was fabulous! And the pool was a lot of fun. I definitely would recommend staying here my kids enjoyed it and so did we. Will state again

The front desk gals are wonderful and helpful. They stored my cooler in the freezer, which was filled with liquid gold (breast milk). The shuttle driver, Mr. German was pretty cool and nice to my teen boys that he took to grab dinner. The cleaning ladies were friendly and gave us our space. The breakfast buffet women were kind. Aside from the trains it was a good stay. I don't like firm beds but some folks do

Very nice place! Super friendly staff, rooms are always very clean and comfortable, and a perfect breakfast (though I wish Biscuits and Gravy were there more often!). Pool and a gym to keep me fit! Easy to get to, close to parks. Comfortable lobby area for working, also. Highly recommended!

Clean, updated rooms with good breakfast and hot tub/pool area. Close to dinning options in downtown Cheyenne.

Carli at the front desk displayed great customer service. My husband left a personal item in our room. Carli had great communication skills and went above and beyond by dropping the package off at FedEx to send the item back to us.

This was a pretty nice place. It's new so that's a good reason. My one complaint is be careful in the shower. Ours was slippery and I almost became a casualty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was pretty tasty and they even offered veggie sausages :)

We had a very nice stay here on our way to the Grand Tetons. Hotel is convenient to the interstate, downtown and other attractions.

amazing staff, great place to stay. stayed during the march 2021 blizzard, and staff were very prompt, very understanding and kept working better than most places across the city. whether your looking for nice clean rooms, or amazing staff. this is the place to stay!

Just loved it. The staff here are wonderful & so friendly. The Rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Not just cold food hot food sausages. Bacon ,eggs , waffles, cereal, fruits.,& Much more. Swimming pool & gym so worth the $$$ .

This place is a really great value - new construction, clean, good-sized rooms and newer equipment in the fitness center. Super nice staff.

Note - this hotel is right along the Union Pacific rail line into town. This doesn't bother me as I grew up near trains and am somewhat accustomed to the noise, but I know if my husband were with me he'd be frustrated with the 2AM train horn (a la My Cousin Vinny). Maybe ask for a room on the side farther from the train tracks if you think this might bother you.
