Wyoming Metal Art Roadside Attraction

This is amazing work done by the late Mel Gould. See it soon as I’m not sure the home and art are being maintained.

Interesting, lovely metal arts. The man who created all these in the past 65 years passed away recently. I got a chance to chat with his daughter and grandson. Appreciate the efforts to have all the artwork in good shape!

While it is a collection of metal art, the real story is the inventor behind the art, but also the machines that aren't bout on public display. We lucked out and happen to show up when his son was there and got a full tour and tons of stories. Very impressive all the stuff you can't see. For example the big windmill art piece .. actually powers tools in a workshop he buried underground.

Such a one of a kind experience!

This was a cool spot. The granddaughter of the gentleman who created the Roadside art came over and told us the story of her grandpa, and his exciting life.

This was a cool little stop on the highway. There were really cool metal sculptures that the artist constructed over many years. There was a friendly black lab to me me when i got there. Stop by and check it out!

Neato place along the interstate. Made a fast furry friend with the nicest doggo as I pulled in.

I spent a good half hour roaming around the grounds viewing all sorts of interesting contraptions. Well worth the visit.

Well worth the stop if you like folk art and fun!
