Fantastic architecture and design make this building an adventure worth exploring! I was met with hospitable employees and representatives on my self guided tour. I’ve never visited a state capitol before this and after this experience I am looking forward to seeing all the state capitols!

The inside is beautiful, this state Capitol is much nicer than most others I have visited. Both the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives were open to the public. The sculptures of the Four Sisters were a very nice fit to the building.

Such a lovely state capitol. Just recently totally renovated. Thanks to a wonderful guide who told us which parts of building were best. The stairs where the statues of the 4 sisters were placed in niches were excellent. Take time to watch the orientation movie. Tiffany style stain glass in three locations is superb. The cherry wood balustrades beautiful. Gold leaf dome - Wow. We loved the entire building.

The most beautiful state capital I've ever seen. Three floors to see and a 15 minute film to enjoy.

We are snowbirds and spend the summers in Fort Collins. We have devoted one day to visiting Cheyenne for the last several years, and this year was a visit to the state museum and the capitol building. We highly recommend both. We spent about one hour in the capitol just exploring the architecture and furnishings. The docent gave us pointers, directed us to the 20 minute video, and we were on our own to explore the building and grounds. The 2019 restoration produced a gorgeous building. We were free to roam the entire building, including the Senate and House Chambers as the legislature was not in session. Free parking on the streets was plentiful. We highly recommend it.

Beautifully renovated! A self guided tour, noticed the attention to detail throughout... Impressive. Handicap accessible entrence, and elevators to get you to each floor however not all areas would not be wheelchair friendly.

My parents and I stopped in to check off another state capitol visited. We found a well maintained state building welcoming to visitors from across the US. We appreciated the emphasis on the native and indigenous people of Wyoming through displays and artwork to tell the often overlooked and untold histories of America. If you are passing through Cheyenne, I definitely recommend stopping in just for a taste of Wyoming history and hospitality!

1888 renovation recently completed and what a beautiful historical building to visit. Home to the first place in the world to vote in women’s rights, incredible architecture and many other things. A must visit in Cheyenne!

When we visited here this Spring there was some construction work going on there. But we could take some pictures and drive around the Capitol building. We also spent sometime in the nearby areas. A great location with so much of historical importance. This is the capitol Building of the equality state Wyoming. It was a good experience !

One of the most stunning/beautiful state capitol i ever been to ( so far been to 34 state capitols). Make sure you do the tour! It is very informative (help you to understand a bit history of earlier mormon and salt lake city)! Mr. Richard (our tour guide) is just an awesome person!

Beautiful gold rotunda. There are two statues on either side of the building: a bison, and a bull rider.
