Excellent service all the way around. Helping me work through my knee(s) and hip pain. They take the time to listen to what is hurting and causing your pain as well as explain the options and procedures/processes to you along the way.

I receive the best care here. Have had carpal tunnel surgery, knee replacement, and just got emergency care for a broken ankle. My surgeries all went well and the staff is great, everyone from checking in to the time to leave is wonderful!!! Doctors are top of the line.

First of all, the staff was courteous, friendly & professional. Wait time was about 15 min. No problem. Beautiful office space. Dr. Harris was very friendly, easy to talk with, professional. I moved down from the Baltimore/ Towson area & had great physicians there. Now I am in Bowling Green, VA & I will return for knee injections until replacement is needed.

Having Dr. Harris perform total knee replacement surgery for me was such a great decision and I should have done it sooner. He and his entire team took such great care of me, before, during and after the surgery. Including my 1 year anniversary check in. Thank you Dr. Harris and team! You are "quality of life savers" and I couldn't be happier with my awesome new knee.

I had done all my check-in online prior to my visit. The woman at the front desk thanked me for doing that and sent me right back to the waiting area - nothing else had to be done at check-in. My wait time was less than 5 mins. A very friendly nurse called me back & said I'd be getting x-rays. The x-ray tech came and got me in less than a minute - very friendly & efficient. Within another couple of minutes, Dr. Harris came in. He's just great - explained my condition fully, answered my questions, gave me lots of great tips. I'm looking forward to having him manage my condition. It's really nice to go somewhere where the whole staff is fully engaged in providing a great patient experience. Thanks!!

Dr Harris is a very caring, patient doctor. He makes you feel like he has all the time you need to question him and he explains things in a patient format so you understand. He has been my doctor for quite a few years now and has taken care of all my issues. i would not go to anyone except him and David K. I have been able to put off having my
Knee Replacements so far because of his dedication.
He has never pushed me to do the replacements. He said he wound wait until I felt ready. No pressure from him at all. Wonderful, skilled surgeon and a great person.

Sara Jayne was very professional and compassionate assistant. I am one who gets nervous when in need of injections ( needles). She made me calm and relaxed. My experience was great.

My husband and I just loved Sarah Jane Switzer. She was both professional and personable. She was thorough with all aspects of my injury and explained everything so that I could understand. She was kind and warm and I would definitely be interested in seeing her in the future.

Dr McDonald is wonderful to work with. She takes her time to make sure that the patient fully understands everything and answers all questions. She's also extremely prompt, I have never had to wait for my appointment!

Dr. Lake is one of the best Orthopedic Specialist I’ve ever had dealing with! I’m one patient that completely satisfied with him! Dr. Lake takes the time out to listen and help you bring out the problem that I’m having, as if he’s in my body, wow! He truly cares about his patients and I’m so honored that my doctor (PCP, recommended him highly! Awesome this doctor is!

My 1st visit & I'm very impressed. Dr Harris is awesome. He took his time with me, I never felt rushed. He explained in dialog I understood & showing me the problem areas on the x-ray. The treatment plan provided is one that I'm very pleased with. I highly recommend Dr Harris, he's a very friendly & caring Dr. PS He's office staff are also amazing

I saw Andrea for a follow up on a spinal problem. She read my chart and discussed what was going on with me including imaging results and results from a prior procedure.
I found her to be helpful as far as my orthopedic issues as well as some good nutritional tips.
She has a very nice presentation and I felt that I had her complete attention and that she really cared.
I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Harris was efficient with his time management, but I never felt like he was rushing to get to the next appointment. Everyone has a number on their chart, but I wasn’t treated like that. A really good back and forth and I could tell he was listening to me. Good trust in the way things went. Would recommend and will return when needed.

I have suffered from chronic pain for a long time with many questions and I am grateful to have found a provider who cares. Andrea Kysor is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful way of explaining things. I am exceedingly pleased with the service and care that she provides and find myself further impressed with each visit. My experience was very good at Otho Virginia. The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Harris demonstrates a through interest in his patents and their treatment. I would highly recommend him and the entire staff to one and all.

Dr. Harris has excellent patient manner. Listened to what i had to say and offered several options for me. Made me feel at ease being there and i didnt have a long wait at all. Very pleasant experience, would highly recommend him.

My husband has had both hips and knees replaced in the past couple of years. He had an unexplained pain in his one leg; Dr. Harris had an X-ray taken of the affected area and it showed that everything was perfect. Dr Harris suggested a possible remedy to address the pain and asked my husband to let him know if the pain continues. If it does, he will order a bone density for the affected area. Dr Harris is very personable and doesn't rush through appointments.

Appointment was right on time. I. was in and out in about 30 minutes. 5 minutes with nurse explaining issue and current meds. Nurse said X-ray techs would be there in a few to get X-rays. 1 minute later X-ray tech was escorting me to X-ray. After X-ray Dr. Harris was in room approximately 2 minutes later Discussed what he was seeing on X-rays in detail and treatment options. We decided on cortisone shots first. He went got the shots, Administered them. A few more instructions and I was on my way. I wish all Dr’s were as efficient. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at Ortho VA. We live out of the area where Riverside Health Systems are the primary health providers. After my father had a traumatic hand injury that was treated in the local ER he was told that he was not able to be seen by a surgeon in RHS till four days later. Meanwhile he only had enough pain medication from the ER for two days, their recommendation was to return to the ER for pain management. My father is 72 years old and a diabetic with hypertension. I immediately went to google for a hand surgeon nearby and found Ortho VA. We were treated totally different by them versus the very people who are in the health network that my father receives all his care. Ortho VA was kind compassionate and worked us in immediately. Actually the hand surgeon said they knew that they are out of the area so we won’t set an appointment time just tell them to come on in when they can get here I will see them. WOW!!! What a difference. He was seen by the surgeon and treated the same day. Thank goodness for Virginia Ortho and their entire team. Everyone from the receptionist, triage nurse, physician assistant to the surgeon was the absolute perfect example of what healthcare should be. I can not say enough about the level of care and compassion that was given to my father. If anyone has a orthopedic emergency and lives in the Middle Peninsula or Northern Neck area I highly recommend they contact Ortho VA for treatment. You can drive to Mechanicsville and be there quicker than you can go to Newport News.
