The Sunday brunch was well worth it. Eggs, sausage, bacon, steak, shrimp and grits, salmon, fried chicken, waffles, pancakes, French toast, desserts. Just to name a few things. Everything was delicious and service was great. The atmosphere was casual and friendly.

Most amazing dining experience I have had in a very long time! Fantastic wine selection and there was not a single dish served (we ordered a lot) that was in any way disappointing!

It's my first time here to celebrate my birthday. Although I've been to the nearby W&OD Trail many times, I didn't think of going there, but I found this place to visit again. The taste of the food and the atmosphere inside are superb. I should definitely have a meal with wine next time. The people who work are very friendly and I feel very well received. A walk on the trail after a meal is an extra bonus.

Always an outstanding experience! Visited for the first time after a great recommendation, and it didn't take me long to return for more! The menu offers a large variety of dishes and cuisines for any taste. Food is always fresh and flavorful, with great quality ingredients. The burgers and pizzas were amazing, and I'm a big fan of their Sunday brunch. The shrimp and grits shouldn't be missed, as they are amazing! Staff is always friendly and helpful, and it is always clean. Great ambiance, perfect gift couples, families, or eating solo. Highly recommend!

I recently attended one of their events, and I was blown away by the quality of the food! I can't wait to return for dinner service!

Had a quick stop here between wedding venue tours was on a time crunch. Hated to be “that” group but we asked the waitress if she would be able to help us get served so we would be able to leave on time. Kitchen delivered quickly and waitress was super nice and accommodating. Wonderful venue, beautiful scenery, and amazing food. Can’t wait to go back!

The food here was delicious! We had the Salmon Oscar, the duck breast and the Steak Cesar salad. The star of the show was the Crab and Artichoke dip for an appetizer. Get that! The rest of the food was great, but that was the best.

Sat in the sunroom on Sunday. Not as dark as the main dining room. Cheerful and fast service on a busy brunch day. Got the buffet. Very happy with the food and variety.

You know you’re at a fine establishment when you go hiking and are treated well when you stop for a nice meal afterwards. The food, drinks, dessert and service were spectacular!

I have been to this restaurants five times in my life and everytime I have left feeling satisfaction with everything. The food, although pricey, uses the freshest ingredients and is cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. Waiters made sure everything met the customers expectations. The atmosphere gives a rustic feeling, but with a modern touch as well. Highly recommend for special occasions like anniversaries or a graduation meal. Only superlatives can describe how great this restaurant is. Highly recommend.

We ordered their Thanksgiving Dinner and it was outstanding. Clear reheating instructions. Everything from the turkey to the sides to the pie was fantastic!

Perhaps it was partially the experience of catching up with a distant friend who was visiting the area, but I had a good time here. I ordered the soup of the day, which was tomato (more of a tomato bisque), and I had a bowl ($10; cup also available). That plus some light garlic bread and I call this a successful lunch! It's a rustic and busy old place nestled in a part of town whose roads were clearly designed for horses and not cars, but there's public parking nearby, and if you can manage to wind and twist your way through the old roads, this is a great restaurant.

Very nice restaurant. Staff was very polite. The ambience is better in the center area near the bar or upstairs than in the side rooms but either way the experience is excellent. Great food. Steaks are always good. The chicken and duck are good. The burgers are pretty decent. I personally don't like the seasoned fries but the rest of my group loves them. If your there at a busy time allow a bit of time for a short walk from parking.

The restaurant was very good. All the food was well made and fairly priced. I enjoyed the cocktails. The service was great and I enjoyed the entire dining experience with one exception. The third floor private rooms get very warm. Uncomfortably hot even. This is not likely to be a typical dining experience though unless you have a large party in the middle of summer so it's not worth lowering the rating. I would definitely dine again, on the ground floor.

You can’t go to Purcelville without visiting this place. The service and atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely to die for. I got the lam osso buco which fell off the bone and he ordered the ribeye with mushrooms and masked potatoes - it was also as tender as can be and cooked a perfect medium rare. You have to try this place!

We had a great dinner at the Mill. The restaurant vibe is delightful and cozy. The service was tip top, they did a great job. The salmon was a tad bit overcooked for me, but I like it med rare, it was stuffed with crab so maybe that could be why.

Got together with co-workers and we had a lovely time! Only complaint is there were 2 pieces of fish, one was a decent piece but the other was rather small with more breading than was needed.

Update: Had dinner there again last night. Would still highly recommend!

Had a wonderful dinner last night! We ordered 2 entrees and the kitchen was kind enough to split them for the two of us so we could share easily. We ordered the Prime Rib and Salmon Oscar and it was delicious. The portions were quite large as well. I had a Sangria with my meal that was quite refreshing. The service was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was quaint and rustic. The bathrooms were convenient and clean but could've used more on a busy Friday night. Reservations highly recommended!! All in all, I can't wait to go again sometime soon!

Great restaurant with a warm cozy ambience. Food is delicious and tastes like it is made with the utmost care. Lots of menu options that I can’t wait to try next time. They gave us this custom printed menu for our anniversary which I thought was a very good touch. Long wine list and lots of creative cocktails. Will definitely come again!

This place was good. I came with my 2 kids. We ordered shrimp& scallops, fried green tomatoes, kids pasta with marinara sauce, kids grilled shrimp, bread pudding, cream bruelee, and coffee. Overall, it was a good meal. We had an issue with the check but our server fixed it right away. We definitely will come back.
