Lowe's Home Improvement

We went to a few lowes looking for a specific dishwasher, online said it waa in stocks but they didn't have them when I got there. I called portsmouth and the lady on the phone (Sherri) said she would look, but I had just got to the store by the time I got to speak with someone and told her I would be coming inside. I came inside and she was already looking for it. She found the item promptly, brought it out for us, walked it to our car, and even helped load it! Definitely great customer service! Thank you Sherri!

Had two separate but both equally wonderful experiences at this Lowe’s store in the past week. The first was a simple pickup order. Quick and easy I got it out of the locker. To my surprise there was a little goodie bag in there with a little kid apron which I thought was a great touch since I have a 4yo.. the second experience was with a customer service agent JOHN. He helped with my return and even pointed me to the correct item I should have gotten the first time. As we were walking to the correct location he noticed I stopped to check out a display of kids toys and he offered me a free toy from the customer service desk. My son LOVED putting together that little football man later that night and I wish I could thank John again. I will be looking into the kids workshops also thanks to him and his kindness

I had to get assistance with a carpet that was not priced. I saw another carpet to compare it to. When I spoke with the manager he was kind enough to take $30 off the price of the carpet because it was not priced or wrap. That felt good, the manager was willing to work with me rather than shutting me down for asking.Great customer service!

I really like this location because they always seem to have plenty of inventory and staff are always super helpful. I had to buy some 80lb bags of concrete and some schedule 40 pvc as well as some conduit couplings. They had everything I needed!

Walked in & found exactly what we needed instantly. It's good to know that Lowe's stores around the country have similar layouts.

Larry was very helpful when I needed a new garbage disposal. My old one got jammed and was leaking. The new one was a simple twist on. Took an hour being my first time and making sure to read the instructions first but it wasnt hard to replace.

Very helpful, friendly associate by the name of John, my husband and I felt he went above and beyond to help us. There was an issue with a gift card we were trying to use, wouldn't work at the self checkout and he opened a register to help us. The purchase was $600 and my husband and I were greatful for his help

The young lady that assisted me today was so pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. (sorry I didn't get her name, but she was a mgr), she helped me find the magnets I was looking for, and offered to go get them for me since I walk with a cane. She did this without making me feel it was an inconvenience to her, or that I was just another interruption to her day. Thanks so much for the pleasant shopping experience.

We purchased couple item here and experience was amazing we purchased our washer and dryer and Sherry at the appliance department took care of us for every step she was very helpful and professional. I have gone there second time to see what my Blinds options for my window and Jasmine helped me out to chose my blinds and customize it the way that i needed it. Always a good experience at Lowe's. From the smiling greeting upon entry to the smiling assistance we received from the same woman. She may not have known the answer to our question, which there is nothing wrong with, but she went and found someone with knowledge about what we were looking for. Wish I knew her name because she is a great example of how an employee should be at any job. She deserves a raise. Thank you.

A bottom of refrigerator there and Sherri in appliances help me out greatly she was top-notch

Went and brought a grill, and the associate went to the back and found it for me. In today's atmosphere that is going above and beyond.

Miss Gloria and Miss Donita are the best customer service oriented associates in the store. If it weren't for those two people, there would be an entirely different review. They are both cashier's. I'm NEVER able to find a department associate to assist me. If I go to either one of them, they yank some knots in tails and get me taken care of. Lowe's should be so Lucky

Went to Lowes Portsmouth and had a much better experience. Liz in the washer / dryer appliance section helped us.
We ended up purchasing a replacement dryer. She was very thorough with her explanation and service. Thank you Liz for your stellar help.

As a new homeowner and even before as a renter, this is my go-to neighborhood home improvement store. Beautiful flowers. Service is always friendly and helpful. Associates are knowledgeable about the products and home improvement trends in general and offer solutions whether it’s with them or someone else. Thank you for being a trusted resource.

The victory Blvd location had the tile I needed and the associate left an employee meeting to get the fork lift for me. The price was also good.

I went to this store to use their home decor services for some blinds. While I tried to understand everything from the website alone, it was overwhelming with all the choices. In the home decor department, Ms. Bea was amazing and patient. I was able to show her pictures of my home and she helped me decide on the look and functionality that would work for me. I haven't gotten them installed yet but her help was customer service at it's First Class best. Thank you Ms. Beatrice for not only doing your job but for actually caring while you do it.
