Food Lion

The parking lot is full of patrons. Wear of mask optional. Store was accessible, clean n well organized in getting around. Shelves were well stocked and isles wide. Check out is easy, staff extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to visit again and I would recommend this Store as an Excellent place to shop 😊. Great store to go to get your stuff

First time at this Food Lion; it seems like one of the nicest. I liked the separate produce room. The cashier, Ruth, was friendly and very efficient.

Update 12-18-2021: This is my Food Lion now; I hardly go anywhere else. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, and well-stocked.The parking lot is a little tight, but that's the only negative I can identify.

Update 2/22/22: Even though they suffer from periodic shortages, still my favorite grocery store. Friendly, helpful with quick check-out.

Update May 5, 2022: Still a pleasant shopping experience. Some good sales considering current prices.

Update 7/5/2022: Nothing different; still my favorite grocery store. Good pork selection today.

Update 9/12/2022:. No changes. Apparently a new cashier; she put my greeting card right in the bag without individually bagging it and offering it to me. She'll get the hang of it.

No crowds! Well stocked. Great experience after leaving Kroger's crowded isles and semi empty shelves.

That does say good things for Kroger shoppers wanting good quality at good prices, but just remember, there are other choices with comparable pricing and quality 😀.

This was my first visit to this location. It is a lot like the Colonial heights Virginia location regarding the floor plan. This foodlion is large. Very clean and has a lot of good picks. Such as sweet potatoes packaged like the regular potatoes in the netted bags. Great fresh french bread selection. The deli/bakery area is packed with fresher variety unlike most locations such as the Mechanicsville location across from the Mechanicsville high school. The cakes, breads, and meat selections etc.... the Latin foods whether frozen or shelf stored are easy to find also. I really enjoyed my shopping experience here. I will be back!

Stopped here on the way home to pick up so.e salad and fixins. No issue at all. Very pleasant store.

Best grocery store around!! Best prices and very clean and organized. Grocery clerks are the greatest with Wankie being number one! She is so friendly and really adds to the store.

Tina is another employee- a cashier - who goes over and beyond the call of duty to help the customers. She is so friendly. I have seen her help so many elderly customers. I always wait in her line, no matter how long it takes, just to talk to her. She is such an asset to the store.

They have food, drink, and very helpful staff!

This Food Lion is a great local place to shop for your groceries. This store has recently renovated its interior, adding a secluded produce section, (Which looks really good!) and all new aisle layout, which focuses the health section right in the middle of the store. Just about every ounce of the store was touched. The staff are very friendly, and courteous. I would highly recommend this grocery store to anyone looking to obviously buy groceries at a fairly cheap price. If you don’t have an MVP card (Food Lion’s loyalty program) you can easily sign up for numerous discounts offered weekly.

This store is comfortable. Like the layout, it's clean & a really nice staff. Not the huge variety as it's competitors but I like the pace. And I get the goods I need.

This is my every couple of days store. Its great to grab a few things and get out. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful for the most part.

Great produce. The zucchini must be in season. Used them in my spaghetti sauce and it was delish. I like how this store carries extra lean ground beef.

Clean location with friendly employees. I don't feel that they have as good as a selection as competitors but they have a good reward program.

Food lion is my go-to when kroget is out of stuff besides its right up yjr street from me which is nice. Bakery, hot bar and deli are my faves. Fresh food at good prices

Food Lion is one of my favorite grocery stores!!! The prices are great, the store is always clean; the employees are friendly and helpful. In addition, what I need is always in stock!
