East Pierce Fire and Rescue in Sumner has had to come to my home twice this summer due to a heart condition I am experiencing. Both times they have been professional, reassuring, and kind. They were able to quickly understand my situation and treat it and I appreciate their calmness, knowledge, professional ability, and compassion. I would like to thank them for helping me and for being the type of person to do this job. I know that kindness and compassion are part of their training, but you can't train a person to exhibit that behavior if it isn't already a part of their nature. I am grateful for these good people.
