Your experience depends on the people you meet. They lean in to the "nerdy bar with comfort food" vibe. I happened to attend with a group of friends and we had a terrific time, and my food was better for it.

I had the Jumbulaya (menu: "chicken, sausage & shrimp tossed in our dirty rice"), and I liked it so much that I asked for a side of toasted bread to mop it up. And later a milkshake because why not.

Overall ~$33 just for myself, but I left happy.
Note: Automatic 20% tip. That might have been because of our large group...that alone would justify the tip.

Also Note: Must use public parking nearby or walk for a bit to reach the entrance. It's in an old part of town with small streets and not a lot of parking, but hey, it's a nerdy tavern stuffed into an unassuming part of a small town. It fits :).

First time visitor and enjoyed it very much. Such a unique experience. What an idea! Having customers play games while waiting, eating, and havimg fun! Except the food came out a little late, I think the cooks were playing games in the kitchen also, hahaha, everything was so wonderful.

They had such unique menu also. We ordered, Monster Mash Short Rib Hash, Secound Breakfast, and Dr. Strangeburger. They were all so delicious. I've never tasted anything like Monsters Mash Short Rib Hash before. It was crunch, tasteful, and full of flavors. Shreded rib was so tender. I will really go back just to have this dish again. Other dishes were great also and the prices were so reasonable.

Oh, by the way, I noticed that they had billiard room upstairs. I wanted to check it out before I left but forgot. Guess I have to go back to check it out!

I had a wonderful time here with my friends! We came on a Sunday night and it wasn’t too busy, we did have to wait a few minutes to get our table but the time was well spent debating over what game to play. They have a large selection of free games, and some that you can buy in the store. We were overwhelmed by the choices and asked our waiter LJ for a recommendation. He took the time ask what we were looking for, and taught us how to play the game once we were seated. The food and drinks were good and came in a big portion. They have a variety of alcoholic drinks which was nice to see. Overall we had a wonderful time and our server LJ made it all the better! We will definitely be back!

Decided to check out somewhere new for brunch with the family - this is such a unique spot! Hundreds and hundreds of games to play. The brunch menu wasn’t expansive but the Eggs Benedict Burger was tasty - family got the burrito and hash. Service was attentive. My only thing was that I wish they sat the four of us at a larger table so we could actually play a game while eating since we were on a 2 hour limit. The tables are really small and cramped but a ton were open and available.

This board gaming store, gamer meeting, and game playing tavern has a friendly, inviting atmosphere with good food vegan/ vegetarian selections and a full bar. There are lots of games to select from so you don't have to bring your own. Decent parking is nearby and just across the tracks. Prices are moderate. I have been back twice in a month since discovering it.

Amazing little gaming tavern with a massive lunch/dinner menu! Delicious breakfast menu available until 2p. Literally hundreds of board games available, plus there is a VIP gaming room called the War Room which is available for rental at a fairly reasonable price. Highly recommend. Our server was kind and attentive, really feels like a home away from home!

More than food and drinks. A lively joint where people are playing any of a number of great board games. The food was great. The beer menu was extensive.

My wife can beat me at word games.

Went here with some friends and the place was great! Love the game selection, and also shoutout to our server Al who was super chill and really funny. Overall, great place to hang with friends after an event, as a celebration, or just to play board games.

Mushroom appetizer was a lil greasy but all the rest of food was delicious. Party of five, of us.
Great atmosphere. I've never been to a place where you can play games and I really loved that. Even the customers were interesting! So many games to choose from. I want to go again!! ❤

We stumbled into this place by accident and it...is...amazing. The food is good, the concept is fun, we spent two hours here eating and playing games. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves board or card games.

Great food, drinks, board games, and atmosphere! This was a blast to go as a double date with my wife and our friends! They have SO many board games and they have an adult only upstairs and a more family friendly downstairs.
Would definitely suggest coming here if you like board games and good food.

We stumbled upon here when a restaurant we’ve been to before let us down (again) and I’m glad we did! There are tons of games you can play before/while/after food. A lot of games. One of the owners served us, he’s super personable and took time to explain everything. The gamer spin on everything is a fun touch. A lot of their fare is done in house or sourced locally (keeping it in the community is a perk :) ). Our food was awesome. We’re pleased. Since they do encourage games they are totally aware that you may be here longer than an in-and-out dinner. We didn’t do a lot of games, just one, but at no point did we feel rushed, never saw them rush others either. Definitely recommend. We’ll be back as we come through the area.

Really really love this place. Our friend group gets together to play board games here once a month or so and it is always a great time. Excellent selection of games to play and purchase, and they are always in such great shape. Plenty of space for groups and we love that you can make a reservation. Food options are solid -- sandwiches, bar-food-esque apps, and an absolute tome that is their drink offerings (which includes LOTS of fun mocktails great for kids and us nondrinkers!) my husband loves the butterbeer! staff is all so friendly and ready to give you a game recommendation, they are all so clearly passionate about creating a fun community space for board game lovers, and those who just want to play jenga and have a burger. they also have events nearly every weeknight! check it out!!

I discovered really great cider and really great “sidecar” chicken at this place which was paired perfectly with their Dr. Siracha sauce (made from Dr. Pepper!). I was there for their trivia Monday and it was really friendly and fun. I’m planning on going again and trying their mixed drinks menu this next time.

While we were visiting the kitchen was closed. It reopened right before we left, but we've had food here before and it's good. Plenty of board games to choose from in their library, and can be a "try before you buy" for the games they sell.

The Crossroads is a cool place where you can grab a bite to eat, order some drinks and play a huge variety of board games or card games. The atmosphere is very comfortable and a lot of opportunities to engage in discussion or play game with other people there.

John Hornberger, the owner, came over several times and checked on us. Asking about what games we were playing and what we thought or how our service was. We were glad to see the owner interacting with the customers.

The drinks were great and so was the food.

I had the Loki Gnocchi at the bar upstairs. I normally don't order vegetarian dishes, but this was delicious! And Jenna at the bar is an outstanding and professional bartender. She is constantly going from task to task, and yet never too busy to answer a question about the menu. I'll come back every time I visit the area.
