The Things I Love

The store is so honest. It's like a walking into the part of the mind that represents the happy parts of our lives. Just the name gives off meaning that we are entering into someone's heart and soul.

This place is a home goods store with a tea tasting room on occasions. There are so many really cute home goods here. I was especially into the United State tea clothes and cups. There was a different one for each state. Sort of like the Starbucks been there series.

I was really into the happy music, and when I thought it, I immediately saw a CD stand that said "the music you are listening to right now". How is that not so thoughtful!?

My daughter and I had a fun afternoon enjoying tea. The shop is filled with unusual decorative items for the home, but we came for their tea.
They do teas on Thursdays & Fridays by reservation. They offer one tea choice that changes with the season. When we arrived, our table had placards for where we should sit. The table clothes were beautiful. I liked them so much I asked if they were available for purchase, sadly they were not. On each plate was a small keepsake. We started with a fruit cup, followed by soup, and then the usual 3 tiered tray. The experience took close to two hours. The food was exceptional! Everything was also very visually appealing.

It's a nice little shop. My wife loves it. She gets her perfume here. Nice crafts, items and such.

I love this place!!! Tea was awesome, service superb, and food homemade and delicious! Make sure to let them know when you make your reservation if you have any dietary needs. I ate every bit, and now I’m uncomfortable full! The atmosphere and everything was wonderful. For those that like unique jewelry, dishes, clothing - this shop has lots to choose from.

I love this shop! The woman who owns it and the people who work there are lovely! It's so nice to shop in a locally owned business that offers so many beautiful, classy, and elegant home decor items, all with a personal touch. It's a great shop to find those items that will really personalize your home or to find special gifts for family and friends. The shop is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to see what they will have and how the shop will be decorated for the holidays. Also -they offer afternoon teas in the back -so looking forward to doing one of these, in the future!

The Things I Love has been a favorite of ours for years - especially at Christmas! Every year the store is beautifully decorated with themed trees and wonderful gift ideas.

My sister and I visited the tea room in March and it was wonderful! Beautiful set up, the most amazing savories and sweets, and lots to enjoy!

This is by far the nicest tea that I’ve had the pleasure of attending, and we’ve been to many places. Every detail was perfect. The room, the table setting, the service, and the food was just lovely. Little details such as flourishes on the food offerings, the china place cards, the doilies all added up to a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious and super plentiful. Highest recommendation.

Enjoyed a FABULOUS afternoon tea at this charming shop today - such a delicious and generous spread of treats: sandwiches, fresh fruit, scones, soup, chocolate bundt cakes and more! The setting could not be more delightful and the price so reasonable! I can't recommend The Things I Love highly enough!

Such a beautiful shop. The decor is so well-done and over the top, but in a good way. They also sell hand made jewelry from local artists and they appear to have tea parties in the back of the store.

One of THE BEST reasons for going downtown. Such beautiful things and artfully displayed. A treasure. Most people who visit (myself included) want to buy everything in her store. The owner is a genuinely lovely lady.

The most excellent place for tea! Sandwiches, cup of soup and fruit cups are homemade by Joanne Wunderly. Price is amazing. And the boutique is full of amazing decor for your home.

This is the BEST place to shop in Old Town! Great selection of home decor and gifts. Merchandise changes frequently, so there is always something new each time you visit.

Always a delight. Many special gift and home products to give your home a a bit of updated charm and elegance. Plus they have a tea lunch twice a week. Don't come through Manassas without a visit to this little gem!
