Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle East/Redmond

Solid choice of a hotel in a good location near plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Good sized rooms with kitchens so you can eat in. Staff are always friendly and the place is always clean.
Only cons are the crazy slow elevator and the breakfast options aren't always good. The quiche things aren't tasty, the sandwiches are dry, the croissant sandwiches aren't bad, good bacon, over reheated sausage, eggs are meh.
Not bad options but they need to use less reheated items or replace them after so long.
Overall will definitely stay here again but getting breakfast elsewhere most mornings except bacon day.

This Residence Inn was excellent all around - friendly service, tasty and rotating hot breakfast options, walkable location to local shops and restaurants, updated and well outfitted hotel rooms. Highly recommend! :)

Clean and quiet hotel. Beds are comfortable and rooms updated. Excellent location for food/shopping/near hwy. Great gym with a large space. I’ve stayed here twice for work and it’s been excellent each time. Friendly staff. Breakfast options could use a makeover but at least it’s free.

Excellent for what it is.

This obviously isn't a 5-star hotel, but no one who books a Residence Inn is expecting extravagance or luxury.

I found that this hotel had everything I needed for a week-long business trip. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower functioned, the AC was powerful, there was a filtered water station, and they had on-site parking at a decent price. All of the staff I spoke to at the front desk were kind and helpful. All of that, and my last-minute stay was reasonably priced.

I honestly couldn't ask for more from this type of hotel.

Would highly recommend if you're looking for a place that does all of the basics very well.

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn Redmond.

Due to flight issues we were going to arrive in middle of night. Service by Victor at front desk was welcoming and professional.

Room was laid out really well for a family, space was super usable and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other when we were inside. It was also very clean.

Breakfast room was comfortable with great natural light, felt like we were in a nice, airy space rather than a bunch of tables thrown together. Food changed all 3 days we were there and was better than the typical free hotel breakfast, actual tasty food.

Will use this property when back in Seattle.

I arrived after a long drive and workday. Nicolai was at the front desk and I asked to be moved to a higher floor so I could get some rest. He put me in the perfect room which was close enough to the elevator (I have a bad leg). The bed was comfy as were the pillows. The dishes and pots and pans were all clean and in great condition. The breakfast has a great oatmeal bar with fruit and nut options to add (9 of them!) and I don't eat oatmeal but I used some for my non fat Greek yogurt. There were plenty of scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. Sadly when I got to my room at 7am, my keys didn't work so back downstairs I had to go to get new keys made. Not sure why this happened but hopefully someone will make sure it doesn't happen again.. The hotel was nice and quiet as well. I forgot my bathing suit so wasn't able to enjoy the outdoor pool but it looked inviting.

This is a lovely hotel. Breakfast is great and varied. Dhara is great! She has been incredibly helpful during my stay. There is an open air mall just a block away. It has a luxury theatre, great shops and restaurants.

Reasonably priced hotel in a quiet safe neighborhood. Staff is all very courteous, professional, and helpful. Breakfast is great. The whole property is kept clean. The room we had is roomy and well maintained. Parking is easy. A nice place to return to on travel.

Stayed here with family in June. Great service and wonderful staff. Their breakfast is good as well.

I travel for work and this is the by far best Marriott quality wise, I have stayed at. Very clean and the breakfast was as good as the Starbucks down the street for food! Give that chef a raise! Location was very good as well.

Quiet, large, clean and functional room. $100 USD pet fee for 1 night stay was stiff but I guess understandable. Seems like the going rate for pet owners.

***Wanted to update my review. I had occasion to stay here a second time this past February. Stayed for 5 nights this time. I still had my Ambassador Elite Status but instead of upgrading my room for 2 nights, they upgraded me for all 5 nights. Then the funny part was, I was in the exact same room as last time. This time I had a friend with me and thru were able to use the other room jnstead of having to sleep on the couch. Staff were excellent. Service to notch. I had an issue with someone's dog barking rather loudly and the hotel comped my paring for my stay. I will definitely stay herd again. Btw, be sure to check out the craft beer pub across the street. ***

Stayed here for 1 night when I was in town for a Mariner's game. Booked a 1 bedroom suite but was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite due to Ambassador Elite Status.

Room was fantastic but the 2nd bedroom was wasted on me as I was travelling on my own.

Room was very tidy and modern. Comfortable.

A few quibbles. When I stayed in Kelowna, I was given 500 bonus Mariott points, this pkave only have me 250.

Gift bag in Kelowna had more items, but this place had a nicer personalised note on an actual gift card.

Chose this hotel as it included a hot breakfast, could swear I saw it described as an American breakfast but other than the egg mcmuffin style sandwiches, and waffles, iatjeal, and cold cereal there were no sausages, bacon, or even potatoes in sight. I'd been looking forward to scrambled eggs and sausage.

Staff were friendly and check in and out was very easy.

I would consider staying here again.

I stayed here for 19 days and was so pleased to be there. The staff went out of the way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are spacious and clean. The grab and go breakfast was so convenient. WONDERFUL location, close to so many restaurants, food stores, places to walk, and the 520 freeway. Great outside patio to enjoy warm evenings. And pet friendly! I will return here on my next trip to Seattle.

Great location and quiet at night. Nice pool area. Paid parking. Good hot breakfast food and the mixer (Monday to Wednesday) is nice and varied but doesn't always make for a full meal so don't count on it every night, have a plan B.

The rooms are nice, clean and well furnished. Housekeeping does a good job.

The rooms are great we had a kitchen in ours, with a pull out couch. The rooms and general area are very clean. The staff are very polite and kind. The breakfast is nice as what you would expect. Overall great place to stay

I had a very comfortable stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast options are quite ok, you can find vegan / vegetarian options easily.
I was glad to see a working gym which serves the basic purpose. My only suggestion for them would be to make an indoor pool since I don’t see people leveraging an outdoor pool in Seattle’s weather.

The rooms are clean and fresh, studio room type has a mini kitchenette with small appliances and dishes!

Khadija at the reception was remarkably helpful and guided me on various things!
