Podiatry Associates of Florida: Lagoutaris Stratis DPM

Pretty much every member of my family including my parents and in-laws have seen Dr. Stratis Lagoutaris for podiatry issues! Injuries from competitive dance, baseball, old age, and running - our foot ailments run the gamut! And Dr. Lagoutaris has provided incredible care, treatment and advice to prevent future injuries. And on top of that, he's just a kind person and makes the appointment a great experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Stratos is an outstanding podiatrist. I’ve had multiple foot surgeries by other doctors but he is by far the best . His bedside manner in attention to patient needs is excellent. I completely trust his judgement and care of my feet. Wish I had found him years ago when my problems began.

I went in embarrassed because my foot was killing me. I'm a 36 yo female who likes to wear heels and I was hobbling around like a 100 yo. Dr. "Stratis" was so gentle and kind. He injected my heel and it was over before I knew it! He was amazing! My foot already feels like a new foot. I can get back to pilates and yoga asap. I cannot say enough about how Dr. Stratis changed my life. And he even told me about how he can help relieve pain in the ball of my foot when I wear my heels, lifesaver! I will definitely be doing that treatment in the future. Because why should I suffer? Thank you Dr. Stratis for being so great!

Dr. Lagoutaris is an excellent podiatrist! He's helped my father with some severe foot pain and has helped my family with sports injuries. Couldn't recommend a better podiatrist!

Doctors are wonderful and staff are pleasant.

My only complaint would have to be the unprofessionalism of one of the front office staff. She seems to be new but doesn't seem to be handling the work load well. She answers the phone bothered and I sat on hold for 15 min the morning of my appointment trying to get directions. She didn't know how to do a few things but she was the one impatient frustrated about it or about me asking any questions. I also spoke with her over the phone because there was a discpency with my prescription and she basically blew me off and said she couldn't do anything and that I would have to speak directly with the doctor who was unavailable. I also left with an uneasy feeling because I had to leave my card information written on the back of a form and it did not seem like the normal practice. She assured me it would be scanned and shredded but typically that stuff is written on a form and it was just on the blank side of a different form. I don't usually make negative comments but this is something I feel could be addressed and save others from trouble.

Staff was generally pleasant, doctor seemed thorough. But since this is rather a large building, it might have been helpful to get some directions as to what entrance to use. The office is just inside the door at the back of the building. Other entrances will have you walking quite a bit, and if you have a foot problem, that seems like an important fact to omit. Just sayin...

I brought my son who was needing an ingrown toenail removed, After sitting for an hour and 15 minutes, they tell me my son had to pay $65 dollars co pay. I know he had met his deductible, after 5 surgeries this year and being hospitalized for 4 months his deductible was met. The office manager Karen would not call Florida Blue and ask, she embarrassed my son and myself. He left the office I tried to argue. She would not listen to me. It is obvious to me this office is about money and not patient care. Bad gate keepers at podiatry associates of Florida. Karen needs to be more compassionate to patients, she is not a nice person.

I looked for another podiatrist and by luck we found a great office, First Coast Foot and Ankle Clinic. Dr. Reddy, a wonderful experience office employees kind and respectful, they took my son and said they would bill the insurance company. All went well, my son had a good experience and we will go back to Dr. Reddy.

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. My initial experience here was great and quickly went downhill from there. I’ve spent more than 3 months chasing Dr. Gordon to refill my prescription. I have been told multiple stories about what I need to do, transferred multiple times, and essentially abandoned as a patient. I’ve never been so frustrated by ineptitude in my life. After calling repeatedly for months with no assistance I decided to walk into the office today and handle it in person. I was as courteous as could be considering my frustration and was unfortunately met with more of the same. My recommendation is to avoid this medical office at all cost and seek out a more organized and professional facility!

Very bad experience. Very unprofessional and do not care about patients well being.
