Eleven South

We had dinner tonight here tonight and it was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone from the hostess, bartender, and all waitstaff were very nice and extremely attentive. Taylor was great and did an awesome job taking care of us. The short ribs and tenderloin were delicious!. We had a really great bottle of French Pinot Noir that Taylor recommended. Everything was just very enjoyable. We will definitely be back ☀

Great ambience of an upscale place without being pretentious. Menu was varied, but not convoluted. The rack of lamb was among the best I’ve ever had. Excellent wine selection. Gerry our server was attentive, friendly, and recommended fantastic options. Desserts are made in house. The limoncello mousse was delicate, lightly citrus, and fresh. Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere for a fair price.

We had a beautiful night here. Staff were well trained and knowledgeable with each menu they offer. The food was its own experience and out of this world.
The patio atmosphere was comfortable, beautiful, and spacious.

An absolute favorite in NEFL! 🤩The steak tartare is a must-try appetizer, and Jeremy's service is exceptional. Convenient valet parking adds to the experience. Johnny, our waiter, impressively navigated the menu, specials, and bar drinks. Accommodated our entree requests flawlessly. Seafood dish was superb, goat cheese chicken perfectly seasoned. Loved the Brussel sprouts, bread plate with cheese selection, and ham. I'm a regular for a reason – this restaurant is phenomenal. 😍👌

As soon as we drove in, there was a nice guy who offered complementary valet parking. He took our car to find a suitable parking spot for FREE. Had a reservation ready and entered an outside/indoor roof area. I love the lighting of the mini lamps and the cool fire pole. The waiter offered us special deals for appetizers / entrees. I ordered the ceasar with 5 ounce steak from the kids menu. Took a little while for our food but it was so worth it. Bit pricy but great food for the price.

World class (and friendly, casual!) service. Best rack of lamb I've had - ordering lamb medium and getting it the most precise medium ever - not medium rare, not an inkling of rawness - cooked to perfection. And Amaro Nonino on the dessert menu... just perfect.

What an incredible find! Eleven South offers all house-made dishes, and the quality truly shines through. I ordered the steak tartare and was blown away by the amazing flavors—each bite was a delight. The wedge salad was equally impressive, with perfectly cooked bacon and flavorful onions that complemented every forkful. Coupled with incredible service, this restaurant is a must-visit!

Parker was our waiter and he is hands down great. Every person here was friendly and personable. The atmosphere is inviting and welcoming to conversation and laughter. The Old Fashion was exactly what it should be smooth and well mixed. Now the amazing part was the food. We had the ribeye, lobster tail and scallops. All were cooked to perfection. The dessert did not disappoint either. I would encourage you to make time to enjoy an intimate dinner here with family and friends.

I am a somewhat regular customer to Eleven South and had an amazing experience with Gerry. He had our table of 10 and provided excellent customer service. The food was amazing but I think Gerry made the experience what it was. I highly recommend requesting him as a server if you go.

Good was very good ..thank you to chef..waitress Cindy is the highlight..she is extremely nice and beyond to full fill what we need without asking..

The appetizers (Escargot, Tuna, fruit and cheese plate and steak) were perfectly seasoned and fresh. The Escargot was by far my favorite appetizer. It was made in a sauce similar to a pesto sauce. For lunch, if highly recommend the golden beer and ghost cheese salad with iron steak added. The steak was cooked medium rare. It melted in your mouth, and the salad added a crunchy texture. I've added extra pictures of other entrées my colleagues ordered. They all said it was delicious.

After lunch, the cappuccino and lemoncello mousse cake were ordered. The cappuccino was made perfectly, but the mousse cake was not as good as I had expected. I would not recommend that, but the other desserts earned wonderful reactions from my colleagues.

Overall, I'd say order the Blackberry Bramble drink ( I substituted Bulleit bourbon), escargot appetizer, steak (as an added protein to any salad) and finish with a cappuccino.

Worth a visit! Do not miss out.

One of my favs. This has to be one of the top dining establishments in the Jacksonville area. Intimate, cozy, outdoor dining available. Fab menu and super wait staff. Have never had a bad experience here and the cuisine is top drawer and always consistent. Bar area up front fills up fast. Valet parking.

Here's an update 5-28-2023:

Not our first visit to Eleven South. It still ranks as one of the finest in Jax Beach. This time it was a Saturday over Memorial Day Weekend so there was quite a crowd. Standing room only at the bar and people waiting to be seated. Believe me, the wait is worth it. The atmosphere is busy however seating inside or on the patio is still pleasant. White table linens forecast a fine dining experience. The wait staff is exceptional,. Our waiter, Parker, is one of the most outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable we have seen in any local restaurant. Service by the wait staff is efficient and responsive. As far as the cuisine goes, it is always exceptional. Try the Royal Red Shrimp appetizer. The steaks be it a filet, rib eye, or NY Strip are as tender and tasty as any of the local fine steakhouses and the prices are competitive. Yes, they charge for bread however it is one of the finest baguettes around and is accompanied by four dipping possibilities including butter. Parking is by valet which is also friendly and efficient. There are just too many fine dishes on the menu so try any of them, you will not be disappointed.

2nd update we dined once again at Eleven South and as always the dishes were excellent the special duck appetizer was out if this world, the special flounder dish outstanding, the rack of lamb done to perfection the royal red shrimp always a great choice. The NY Strip done as well as any fine steakhouse as was the filet. Try the French fries topped with parmesan and the basket will feed thecwhole table.

Parker was hands down the best server I've ever encountered! The presentation was A-1! The food was delectable! We sat on the patio and the Sun peaking through with the light breeze it was just perfect!

Had to share what great meals and service we have had here. Our waiter Chris is the very best and the Octopus is always cooked perfectly. We’ve been several times and never disappointed

Going to have to go 5 stars with this one! We eat out at fine dining restaurant's fairly often. I have a large family (6 children) and most of them thoroughly enjoy good food. We often get weird looks and sometimes mediocre service because of our large family. That was not the case here. Our waiter was absolutely attentive and very eager to serve us. For appetizers we had the muscles, octopus and short rib spring rolls. Muscles were just ok. The Octopus was very good and actually cooked perfect. We have ate at a lot of restaurants that completely overcook the octopus and make it chewy and just not good. This was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable. The short rib spring rolls were very good. Very, very good. I was not expecting much, but definitely was impressed. For entrees, we had the new York strips, duck breast, salmon and seafood paella. Every dish was seasoned and cooked well. We left no room for dessert. We were thoroughly satisfied with all the dishes. Our waiter was down to earth and made our evening very enjoyable. Definitely be back here again!

We love going to Eleven South for lunch and/or dinner. We always sit at the bar with Meredith and get the best service! Not only does she make the best cocktails, she also can make a delicious mocktail! If you go for lunch, get the salmon wrap!

The lamb and hanger steak were really flavorful and cooked to perfection. The bar area looked quite nice as well. Our server was friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Eleven South. Had heard great things from many people and lived up to that. Very good ambience, great service from a professional waiter and other staff. Food was wonderfully flavored and desert was amazing! Some areas could use updates including the seating and saw some paint chipping on the walls. Will definitely be back and can’t wait! Will probably try and sit at the bar.

The lounge area was very busy and very loud when we walked in. I'm glad our reservation was outside... The place is bigger than what it looks like from the outside and the decor is simple yet elegant. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The entire menu looked incredible, so there are plenty of options for even the pickiest of eaters. We had the local flounder with corn orzo salad, sautéed kale and pepper jam along with the wedge salad with Faroe salmon. Both were absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend a visit to this locals' favorite eatery. Reservations are highly recommended also. Worth every penny!
