Black Tie was nothing but GREAT!!! I ordered a tux from Menswear House for an event I had to attend the following week. Got there and my tux was not at the location. Called up Black Tie Wednesday before Thanksgiving and she did everything so I can be ready for that Friday for my event!!! BEST customer service EVER!!!

Truly top notch service and will guarantee you end up in a perfectly fitting tuxedo/suit. We used Black Tie Formals/Jan for our wedding in Pontre Vedra Beach and from start to finish we received world class service - the owner worked twice as hard to make sure every groomsman and bridal party member had a fitting tuxedo weeks in advance of the event, while also making sure all backups were in place by the day of. On top of it, the tuxedos were all very classy and clean, with no signs of previous use or wear (impressive for a lot of rentals). If you need a tux or suit rental, this is your place for class service and affordable pricing.

Jan gave me and my groomsmen what the big retailers couldn't provide, great service, quick turnaround, and flexibility. And most important to me, she gave us more color and style options that weren't available with the big chains. All of their tuxedos were the exact same and only provided a few alternatives. Definitely a return customer!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was in town for a wedding and realized I forgot my tux when I boarded the plane. I called black tie formals and the owner said she’d put something together for me when I land. I went straight to the shop from the airport and within 30min, had a tux with everything I needed that fit way better than I had expected for something so last minute. All at a reasonable price and great service. The owner even offered to pick the suit up from my hotel so that I didn’t have to drop it off. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Jan and the service she provides, especially considering the 2020 circumstances. From coordinating eight individual fitting times for the groom party and fathers, to the 1-2 day turnaround time for last minute miscellaneous items. Her knowledge of modern fits and trends was equally impressive. You’re doing it wrong if you go anywhere else.

Jan was fantastic and met every one of my needs. Took the tux to the President's Inauguration, The Commander & Chief Ball and other events and no one had any idea the tux was rented. Thanks Jan, you just solidified my political career ;-) Great job!

I learned of black tie formals from a friend of mine who also bought her dress there. Actually, I have two friends who have recently bought their wedding dress from Black Tie Formals. I had been searching for months and months for my dress, and had finally come to terms with the fact that I have expensive taste. When I arrived at Black Tie Formals, Jan was very friendly (unlike some other bridal shops that made me feel like I was in Pretty Woman) and she really wanted to help me find the perfect dress. I showed her a picture of the expensive dress that I liked, and she had one that was almost exactly like it, except even prettier, and it was almost half the price of the other dress. I tried on a few dresses and when I went to try on "the" dress, it was way too small, as in, it was a size 4 labeled as a size 10!! I was upset because I really wanted to see it on. Jan assured me that she would get the proper size in, and in less than two weeks, she called me and told me that the new one had arrived. This dress was true to the tag and fit perfectly. I looked stunning it it!! It was definitely the one!!!
Fast forward a couple of months, my fiance and I found out that we are expecting!!! A very exciting time for us, but all I can seem to think about is how in the world am I going to pull off this georgious mermaid cut dress that hugs every curve on my body at 4 1/2 months pregnant. I called Jan, and told her the situation. She said to come on in and we would see what we could do. Jan ended up letting me exchange my dress. Since it is so close to my wedding, I had to work with what she had in stock, but fortunately, she has a lot to choose from. I found an even prettier more baby bump forgiving dress. I am so thankful that I went to Black Tie Formals. I fear that if I had bought my dress at any of the chain stores, I would have been completely left in the dark.
Jan is a local business owner and when you go to her store, you do not get the feeling of cookie cutters. She gives personal attention to the bride and pays attention to what you like and don't like. I highly reccomend paying her a visit before going anywhere else.

Great place to do business for your wedding needs. Friendly and great customer service. All of the suits fit perfectly and looked amazing!!! Will definitely go back if i need another tux!!

Five Stars around! Ms Jane did exactly what she said she would do for 30% less than the big stores AND with quick turn around. Her athletic fit options had it fitting as well as I could ask.
