Jami did a good job Deva cutting and taming my very long and unhappy curls. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and provided suggestions. She recommended no coloring seeing the potential of bringing out the beauty of my natural color and highlights. She was right! Jami and her staff are very personable. Clean location with lots of curly girls being serviced. I reloaded on my Deva hair products at a reasonable price. I drove 3 hours to this salon and will do it again and again. Great job Jami!! A week later and I’m still rocking my curls!!! Thank you.

If you're a curly girl/guy do not hesitate, get yourself an appointment with Jami and get yourself the Deva treatment. I waited four long years to build up enough courage after an awful experience that left me shall we say "distrustful" of hair stylist. Jami actually listened and upon noticing my hesitation she was conservative with her shears easing my anxiety. Let me tell ya'll something, she made me cry tears of pure joy. My beautiful curls are back and they are gorgeous thanks to Jami.

I came in for my first Deva Curl cut. Jami was prompt and so professional in a very friendly manner. She listened carefully to what I had to say and my preferences. We talked about products without her pushing any on me. She actually told me I didn't need certain products, so not to waste my money. She made sure I knew how to work with my curls. I love the way my curls have come back to life.
I am also sorry the dog was not there....Will def go back again!

I went here to get my hair fixed after a not so good curly hair cut at another salon. This place is low key and friendly. Jamie is extremely knowledgeable on curly hair and fixed my mother's shorter hair and my longer hair. No more Christmas tree hair cut. Thank you Jamie!

FINALLY......I have been searching so long for a stylist who can cut curly hair correctly and Jami is not only polite and professional but ABSOLUTELY can handle the curly hair mystery lol
She listens, gently advises and then works her magic on the layers, which is the true art of curly hair. After only one cut (and my hair was a mess) my curls look healthy and are laying in perfectly blended layers. Could not be happier, and so glad I found her. It takes a lot to impress me after all these years and just WOW! THANK YOU JAMIE FOR GIVING ME BACK MY CURLS :))))))))))))))))

WOW.... What an experience... The new owner Jami is incredible! She has revamped that salon into a place I am excited to go to. The whole place is brand new even down to the new bathroom with waterfall faucet! It looks so upscale and inviting now and the service is awesome. Barbara is the bomb with her color and highlights!!! I LOVE MY HAIR NOW!!!!!! That Keratin stuff they use there is unlike anything I have had done to my hair before but WOW can I feel and see the difference. So knowledgeable are all the hairdressers and willing to help each other. I needed to learn how to do a new hair style for my job and Becky was right there to teach my how to use a new kind of curling iron and even stayed with me until I learned to do it myself!!! Just an amazing salon all around! Hip and current. I cant wait to see you guys again in 6 weeks.... I HAVE FOUND MY NEW SALON!!!

Can’t say enough good things about my deva cut with Jami today. I thought I’d lost my curls forever but Jami worked her magic and they’re back better than ever! Customer for life right here! Also learned so much about how to take care of my hair.

I drove 2 hours to Jacksonville for a Devacut and Jami didn’t disappoint!!! It was great! I highly recommend her for anyone who has natural curly hair! Jami asked what I had in mind, then cut my hair, then toile and washes my hair explaining the products to me as she put them in my hair! I’m VERY PLEASED with the way my hair turned out!! Thank you Jami! I will be bribing back 2 hours for a haircut again!

Jami is the best! I have been going to her for at least 10 years and now my, mom, husband, mother-in- law and sister all go to her too!! She is an amazing colorist. She does my balayage and it looks so natural and pretty. I always get compliments on my blonde color and the way that she does the balayage makes the grow out/ roots look so natural and seamless! I definitely recommend Jami for any color needs!

I have been a regular and frequent client of Susan Merrick's for about nine years now. Although I have a special, regular stylist, Susan C., who does a great job with my hair, I have had my hair done by nearly all of the other stylists when Susan has been unavailable. Every one of them has done a good job for me. That's rare in my experience.
This salon is friendly and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, professional yet casual. Recent decorating changes have added to the ambiance of the salon. I can tell that people like to work there and customers like to frequent this special place. I give it 5 stars without reservation.

I went in for a Devacut and Jami cut my hair, she was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and cut my hair exactly how I asked, she knew exactly what cut would suit my curls best and absolutely delivered, I will continue to go to her! Best devacut experience I’ve had so far hands down

Jami, the owner, has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 10 years. I started going to her when she was working at Susan Merrick's and now she owns the place. She's over educated in the hair care world and it shows. I moved to DC 5 years ago and still only trust Jami to cut and color my hair, which I have to fly home to do. The salon is going through a great transformation. I can't say better things about the place and quality of the cut and color!

the best salon experience i have ever had!! definitely recommend the devacut, jamie is the sweetest and did wonders to my 2b-3b hair, she’s officially my favorite hairdresser now for suree and remember to ask for layers they do the most to pop ur curls out ;) she even came in early just so that I would be able to get my hair cut, cutest salon ever!

Jamie is amazing I got the diva haircut and she is a phenomenal her cute dog was sitting by my side the whole time and it just made my experience feel so much better and more welcoming. Jami and her staff create a welcoming fun atmosphere. Jami did a wonderful job on my hair we added red and blond highlights. It looks great. The products they use make your hair so soft afterwards. I will difinitely go back.
