If you are experiencing a "squirrel problem" look no further. We heard the cute little devils running about over our ceiling. We phoned Blackthumb Services and Sarah (my wife and I call her "Squirrel Lady" or "SL") promptly showed up. Trust me: SL has forgotten more about squirrels than you will ever know. She can read their minds. She came countless times to the house, she saw, she conquered. Problem solved, including sealing the entrance and exit hole near the soffit. Worth every dime of expense.

Our Condo Association has dealt with Black Thumb for many years with removing animals to chaulking buildings to closing holes in all our buildings to prevent rodents from entering. The Board and previous boards have been very satisfied with the work performed. Robert has done a great job with each of the buildings and has always been professional with me. I was even able to negotiate a better quote with the owner, Jay. If you’re looking for professional experienced people to help you remove bees, snakes, rodents, etc from your property, look no furthers. Theses are your guys.

Jay and his staff are great. We had squirrels in our walls! Had an exterminator come and he poisoned them. They died in the walls. Jay came along and fished them out then made sure they couldn’t get back in. I highly recommend Black Thumb.

Our Homeowners Association has used Blackthumb for nuisance beaver trapping for several years. Their services are affordable, they respond promptly to requests for new trapping, and keep us updated as to how the trapping progresses. Their employees are friendly, courteous, and always willing to help educate about the work that they do.

I was having a real problem with critters coming at night and knocking down my bird feeders, to get to the seed and nuts. So I started bringing the feeders in at night, but they still came to scarf up the seed that had dropped on the ground. So I hired Black Thumb to take care of the problem. They were very professional, friendly and certainly knew what they were doing. They reset the traps every other day but would come and pick up an animal the same day if it were in a trap. We caught a critter (or two or three) every night for about two weeks, then the traffic seem to taper off, until the 4th week, when the traps remained empty. So I was very satisfied with their serv ice and really feel as though I got what I paid for. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a similar problem.

They trapped and removed a troublesome raccoon and a couple of opossums. Came back several times to add food and replace the traps as necessary. Recommended.

Jay came out the day I called him about a mouse issue we had in my house. He set traps, gave us a full review of where to fix the openings of the house, and has come twice a week to check the traps with fewer caught each time. Even after the first visit, he calmed my nerves enough so I could sleep in my room again. He has been fabulous! This was such a distressing time and I am so so thankful I called him. He does catch and release most animals I think so that also helps me feel better about not wanting to share my home with these critters. Thank you Jay and BlackThumb Wildlife!!

I had squirrels in my walls, but Jay came out and set the traps to get them out. One morning I even saw a squirrel in the trap and gave Jay a quick buzz so he had one of his guys come retrieve it so it wasn’t in there all day. Jay was fast, efficient, and a pleasure to meet 🙂

Jay and Black Thumb services were very thorough in their inspections, took time to thoroughly explain all services completely and did a very professional job in eradicating my issue. I highly recommend them if you are having problems with any type wildlife problem. Top Notch!!!!

Had a snake problem in my house, I called them up and had a guy over in less than an hour. I'm not located in Tallahassee so the fact he was willing to come out so far was stellar. Wish I could rate 6 stars. Totally professional, and really friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

This company is wonderful to work with. I called about a dead animal smell in the wall of our rental house and they responded extremely quickly to inspect the problem. Luckily, no animal was the cause, dead or alive, but the response was quick and communication was excellent in determining the cause. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs this service. Very professional and efficient.

Called because a squirrel entered when my front door was left ajar (unbeknownst to me). The squirrel took up residence for a couple of days before I even realized it was in my home. Once I discovered, I called BlackThumb, and he came out the same day, and captured the squirrell within 15 minutes. All is well that ends well - highly recommend!
