As a patient with two ankle injuries, I had a remarkably positive experience at the North Florida Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. The staff, along with Ms. Amy Roberts, were incredibly attentive and empathetic during intake, ensuring my wife and I were comfortable and understood the process. The X-ray examination was swift and efficient, with the radiologist explaining each step, putting me at ease. During the consultation, Doctor Loeb was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to explain my condition and treatment options in detail, involving me and my wife in the decision-making process. Overall, I left feeling reassured and confident in my recovery, thanks to the excellent care I received.

Plus, the medical center just felt really clean and fresh. It smelled nice, and everything looked spotless, which definitely made me feel more comfortable during my visit.

When I went to see Dr Peter Loeb, I was pretty close to being in a wheelchair. My knees were so worn out. We decided to do the most painful knee, first. He did a total knee replacement on my left knee in May then my right knee in September. It has changed my life. Dr Loeb and team has changed my life. I am able to walk through the grocery store and cook and live a regular life again! I am forever grateful to North Florida Ortho and Dr Loeb and team. ♥

Dr. Alex Loeb has done an excellent job explaining my condition and my options for treatment. He has always taken the time to listen to my description of symptoms and choosing the treatments I prefer. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff.

They were quick, kind, and had a confidence that put me at ease. I would highly recommend going here to a big facility. It's much more personal.

Dr. Loeb has done both of my total knee replacements. I cannot be happier with the outcome. Feel like a new person! His office staff is efficient and has always been very friendly. I never felt like I was in a factory like I felt in another large orthopaedic office. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Loeb, Mark, and the entire staff provided exceptional care prior to my total hip replacement and following the surgery. They explained what would happen during the surgery and afterwards during rehabilitation. This entire experience has been very positive.

Jenna was lovely when she took me back to x-ray (with a smile) where I was handed over to the technician who had me laughing the entire time, then I spent time with Mark who read the films and gave me honest answers about what is wrong with me, and lastly, Dr Loeb confirmed a lot of the given information, adding details as to pain management until I come back for surgery at some point. I would recommend this office and staff to everyone I know, and WILL come back when it is time to go under the knife!! Thank you!!!

Dr. Loeb did my first TKR August of 2019. Getting ready to have my other knee done next month. I know he and Mark will take good care of me. Everyone in the office and the techs are Great. Every one is so nice.
My last surgery went so well that I'm looking forward to having my other knee replaced. I recommend highly.

I was having severe neck and arm pain and called this office and another orthopedic office. The first appointment for both was 12 days out. I had been in pain for about four weeks and had gotten a muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory from urgent care so with icing I figured I could wait a little longer. I did call and see if they had a cancellation two days after booking and they had one the next day. The person on the phone and at the front desk is not the friendliest person and I attribute that to being very busy so she "keeps things short and to the point." This needs improvement though as she is the first impression of the office.
I was taken back within five-ten minutes. The young man in the back noted my symptoms and verified my written information. Within five-ten minutes I was taken back for x-rays. I waited in that area for about 10-15 minutes. Super friendly x-ray technician was careful when positioning me for x-rays. I went back to the room and Brittany the PA came in and examined me. She prescribed Gabbapentin and a different anti-inflammatory. What was so impressive about her was her relaxed but professional demeanor and that she actually read my chart and noticed I was self pay. She took the time to recall the name of a physical therapist- JMC Mobility- who only charged the co-pay rate of $45. I was wowed by that extra kindness and concern for my financial situation.
The woman at checkout was prompt and friendly. I have not been back because the PT referral and the medication have both worked wonderfully.
I am so glad I was able to get into this clinic so quickly AND get in and out of there in less than 1.5 hours. Very satisfied with my experience here!

One year after knee replacement surgery by Dr. Loeb and still thrilled with the results. Progress has been exactly what I was told to expect. I didn't look for Marcus Wellby, I wanted a surgeon that was honest and expert, and that's what I got. My knee's 95 percent better than before surgery and everything went as expected. I was professionally and courteously throughout the procedure.

I had my first visit yesterday. And I must say the ladies at the front desk, were very friendly and polite. The X-ray tech was kind and caring. The PA was very professional. Dr. Loeb did a procedure on my hand, It was quick and easy. Afterwards I did feel some pain but I took one Advil and the pain was gone. This is a great office with lots of really nice people. I definitely recommend this office. My thanks to everyone I met.

Wow! Dr. Peter Loeb is an amazing surgeon! Total knee replacement was a success - outpatient! Two weeks later I am walking unaided and feeling great. My leg is straight for the first time in 15 years! I am SO grateful to Dr Loeb and his team!

After 22 years of pain following a major car accident with a fractured femur, pelvis, knee and a ruptured lung I finally decided enough was enough of knee pain. Now, three months after surgery, thanks to Dr. Loeb and his staff, I am feeling 100% better than the day before surgery and 1000% better than after the next day of surgery (when the drugs wore off and the the physical Therapist cruelty). This group is more caring and professional than TOC who for years just kept giving me shots in the knee which lasted one day. Thanks and blessings to Dr. Loeb, Mark and your staff.

After several horrible experiences with TOC, I called NFSMOC, received an appointment within several days and was seen by Mark and Dr. Loeb. In contrast to TOC, NFSMOC front counter staff were helpful, waiting room time was minimal, everyone was friendly, and, my condition and treatment protocol were thoroughly explained. I found NFSMOC to be an exceptionally well run patient centered practice as opposed to TOC which seems to function primarily for the benefit and convenience of its staff. It is regretted that I didn't find NFSMOC much sooner than now.

Very pleased with the care that I received from Dr. Loeb and his entire staff. I broke three bones in my ankle and had to have surgery. It has been three weeks since my fall, but I am extremely pleased with how my husband and I have been treated. Dr. Loeb and his PA Mark have seen me each visit. James did an excellent job taking the x-rays without causing me any pain. I was concerned whether it would hurt when the staples were removed, but James did a great job removing each one. Dr. Loeb and Mark never rushed my visits and answered my questions.

There are a few things one would want from orthopedic surgery and a surgeon. Successful surgery to fix the problem and pain free after recovery. Dr. Peter Loeb at N. FL Sports medicine and Orthopedic Center provided those things. Most important to me was recovery time and return to a healthy and active life. In May 2017, Dr. Loeb replaced my knee. Within a moth I was walking normally and by October I walked all over Italy for two weeks. Over 30 pounds lighter and in the best shape I has seen in years. On June 9th Dr. Loeb replaced my hip and I was pain free quickly, only needing five Physical Therapy sessions, walking a total of five miles a day. Believe me the pain before knee and hip surgery was terrible. Thanks For. Loeb! I have my active life back. I also appreciate the professionalism and caring staff you have supporting your patients.

I love Dr. Loeb and the staff at NFSM. I have been under Dr. Loeb's care for nearly 20 years. I went to other Orthopedic Surgeons prior to seeing Dr. Loeb. But Dr. Loeb was willing to do everything he could to help me. I have had 3 major surgeries (total knee, dislocated shoulder/torn rotatory cuff, reverse shoulder replacement) by Dr. Loeb. And have had great results from all. The most resent was the reverse shoulder replacement in September. Surgeries are not pain free, but it's a choice to make for a better quality of life later. He promised me this surgery would be less painful than any of the others. He was so right. 8 weeks after surgery I have very little pain and almost full range of motion. The secret to any surgery is to remember the pain you had prior and the pain from the surgery is short. The real gift with any of my surgeries is I got my mobility back.

I was in so much pain with every step, Dr. Loeb did complete knee surgery on a Wednesday and I went home on Friday, I was outside walking around my yard on Monday.

I was in a car accident and had to have 2 disks removed and a plate with 6 screws in their place, Dr. Stoetzel did my surgery and I have been back to normal as far as my neck goes.
My chiropractor wanted to send me to TOC but I told him that the only place I would go to was North Florida Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic center. These Doctors as amazing!!!! If you give them a chance you will not regret it.

Everyone in that office a great and have patience with each and every patient, I must say that they have to love what they do because they are awesome!

Ninety eight days ago i strained something in my calf playing basketball. North Florida Sports Medicine did a exceptional job helping me understand what was wrong and what i could do right away to be more comfortable. The injury was sever enough to warrant an emergency room visit at TMH. There did not appear to be any significant issues, I was on my out of the ER after about an hour. Six weeks later the injury, which i have had twice before over the last 25 years, did not seem to be getting better as quickly has it had before. I went to the walk in clinic at the other orthopedic clinic in town and saw an physician's assistant relatively quickly. I was told i was about half way through the 2 or 3 month healing process and to wait it out. They did not recommend an MRI at the time. "why spend the $1,200.00 on an MRI, you seem to be healing." Ten weeks into the injury with minor improvement I went back into the walk in clinic. This visit took several hours. After waiting for a while i asked the staff about how much longer it would be. They indicated I needed to be seen by the same doctor as my first visit and that she would be available shortly. When I mentioned the PA i saw on my last visit was a man, I was seen relatively quickly by another PA. Not the one i saw the first time. The second PA felt something was a little off with my injury and ordered an MRI. Fifteen days after my MRI I spoke with the another staff person who indicated my MRI had NOT been reviewed by the doctor i was assigned to. At that point i had all my records sent to North Florida Sports Medicine. A week later i was seen by Dr. Loeb. He quickly identified my issue, told me how to manage it and some steps i could take to make it more comfortable while the healing progressed. For the first time in ninety eight days I knew exactly what was wrong, how long it would actually take to heal (4 to 6 months) and a simple action I could take right now to be more comfortable. That simple action helped immediately. My limp was minimized and my ankle became less swollen.
Dr. Loeb's 30 plus years of experience treating 80 or more of the same injury was a huge be benefit for me. Thank you Dr. Loeb and staff!

Dr. Loeb was recommended to me by a neighbor, and my primary said they were the only other in town besides TOC. 1 year later, I'm grateful!

TOC misdiagnosed my shoulder/torn rotator cuff over multiple visits. They'd send me home with a rubber band.

Dr. Loeb and staff immediately diagnosed injury/condition accurately, scheduled surgery 2 days later, and did a wonderful repair.
