Butterfields Southern Cafe

Butterfields Southern Cafe is a true Gem. We are new in the area and So glad we found this great restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly & welcoming and the prices are really good (especially the work week breakfast specials). My husband said it's the best french toast he has ever had. We go at least 1-2 times per week and they now know us by name. Amber, the owner, was helping the other day and was greeting everyone. She was so nice, gracious and appreciated our business. You need to try Butterfields.

During the equestrian winter season in Wellington, it’s hard to find restaurants where are you can walk in without a reservation, especially for Sunday brunch. If you drive 10 minutes north to Royal Palm Beach, there are some really nice restaurants and this is one of them. Butterfields has a real home country feel and the brunches are delicious and affordable with great service.

My husband and I love Butterfields. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The food is so delicious. I love their mashed potatoes (homemade, NOT from a box). I get the fried shrimp & it is so good along with their sides. Breakfast is very good as well. You need to try Butterfields. You won't regret it.

My wife and I was visiting our granddaughters and found this lovely diner to have a meal. Our waitress Amelia , was so pleasant and made us feel "right at home"with our grand kids. Our food was excellent and will definitely be back again.

Our first visit was for breakfast and let me just say it was amazing. Biscuits cooked right with delicious sausage gravy. Almost got that again tonight but went with the all you can eat ribs while my wife and stepson got all you can eat wings (a Tuesday special). Salad was good, nothing special but not bad. A standard salad. The main course came with 2 sides. I don't eat all you can eat for the sides mind you. I got mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens. The potatoes were cold (if it were any other meal I would complain but this just gives me more space for ribs). Otherwise they tasted fair. Collard greens were pretty good as well. The ribs? Well, those were amazing. Fall off the bone with just enough sauce for flavor. I found myself drowning 3 plates quickly! It was that good. When done I asked for the check and was informed that the meal came with dessert too! My wife and stepson got the all you can eat wings so we got one of each of the 3 desserts. The banana pudding is ok. The brownie meh. The peach cobbler though.....amazing. Simply amazing. Would come again!

I got the all you can eat wings. They were very good. They also included two sides, soup or salad and dessert. The sweet potato fries were excellent and a bit of a distraction from the wings. I got the chocolate cake and it was delicious. Service was outstanding and I ran her ragged with my iced tea and wing orders. I will definitely be back again. Maybe on steak night Saturdays.

I am now a regular at this place. The food is great and the service is equally good.

My wife and I have breakfast at Butterfields a couple of times a month. We love the food and the service is very good. Get there early. They get busy after 8 a.m., and it can be tough to get a seat.

This establishment is a well hidden gem located right of the Winn Dixie Shopping Center off Royal Palm Beach Blvd & Okeechobee.

We ordered the Patchwork quilt breakfast, a BLT and the today's special Build your own Burger.

Food was delicious. Very good quality and fair priced.

Our waitress was Kayly. She provided us very good customer service. Was very friendly and courteous.

To the owner, you are invisible. I've lived in the area for 6 years and have visited Winn Dixie weekly. Never new you existed till today. You need to change store front eye level marketing. I think your menu is excellent and well needed for the area. You should be packed every day all day long!

I built my own omelette: spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and feta. Delicious. Biscuits are huge and also delicious. Staff was friendly.

We were a family group of 10. Despite a staff shortage, service was good. Everyone in our group thought the food was excellent. Highly recommend their big fat omelets and biscuits

Great local restaurant with family friendly service. They have breakfast all day and also have steak night on Saturday. Note at about 730 each day, the lights go off but don't worry as they will turn back on. Overall a great restaurant and I would recommend.

Ate here with a friend yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised! Amazing food, timely service, and great atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious. Very kind and friendly, I highly recommend.

I came here recently when I was short on time. I got a table right away and ordered an omelet. I wish I wouldve taken a picture but by the time I remembered to, it was half gone lol. It was very delicious and cheesy...and thick! I got some grits with that too! The waitress was very nice despite my rudeness (I was on a phone call.) I will be coming back soon when i have time to really look at the full menu and enjoy my visit. Highly recommended!

Tried as new place, Friday shrimp night. Great food, service, and friendly employees. Will definitely return.

What you would expect honestly. The food portions are Huge. Only get the french toast if youre starving. Highly recommend the french toast crossaint. 👌🏽 Clean place with friendly staff. This is a popular place, so be patient with service. We only had breakfast but if you can make feench toast melt in your mouth, you can make almost anything!

When I was growing up my grandma told me this isn't a restaurant, you'll eat what I make. Imagine if your grandma opened a restaurant. It would be Butterfield's Southern Cafe.

Breakfast all day, because it's the most important meal of the day he day!

Everyone here is super nice and very helpful. The service was fast and the orders came out quick.

It feels more like a family reunion than a restaurant. The kindness is amazing. You don't find places like this anymore.

Wednesdays special is great buy a drink get a discount on anything on the menu. The food is amazing and if your hungry, you won't be when you leave.

Breakfast specials every day til 10 lunch specials every day as well. They are in the corner of the plaza, come in and see them you won't be disappointed.

They got the best Liver, chili’s and country fried steak. We come here 4x a week! Love it

Since we moved down to West Palm Beach we've been going here about twice a week. The food is always delicious. The atmosphere is great. The servers are wonderful. Like home away from home cooking every time.

I’m from PA visiting a friend. We tried this place because there was a 30 min wait at the spot near us. We were seated right away. Food was amazing. Service was quick, I was surprised because service in Florida is typically slower. We had breakfast, eggs were moist and fluffy. French toast slices were thick and cooked perfectly. Biscuits and gravy were yummy. Drinks did not go empty. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend.

Drove over 50 miles to eat at this breakfast place. So good. Never have to wait to be seated. Friendly smiling service. Pricing is good.
