My daughter and I joined Capoeira Abolição a year ago after moving from California where we were doing Capoeira. We really enjoy the school here. Mestre Delei is the founder of this school, and we're so lucky to have him in Orlando learning from him. He's great with kids, pushing them, and perfecting their skills while keeping it fun. It's also really great to have him teach the adults and help us perfect our skills. I am not very flexible, but he teaches me good techniques to improve. His wife is also an Instrutora and we get top teaching from both of them. I strongly recommend Capoeira Abolição in Orlando.

I have my 2 grandchildren in the program. They are doing things l never thought they were capable of or interested in. The school is great and they have a great time with the instructors and new friends they made.

This is by far the best capoeira school that I have experienced training with so far! The master is truly passionate about this martial art and he teaches you everything that capoeira has to offer (from attacks/self defense, to music and Portuguese language, even acrobatics). Since I started training with them, not only have I gotten in better shape, but I've seen changes in my confidence as well. The people that train there are all very friendly as well and everyone that trains gets treated like family. I recommend everyone to come train and check out. It's addictive once you try it!!

With Capoeira Abolicao I developed the discipline required to maintain the proper physique and pushed my body to it's limits and beyond. I have learned techniques and acrobatics that, in the past, I could only dream of, including flips, Aerials and flying kicks. However, more importantly, I was exposed to a new culture and outlook that changed how I view martial arts and life in general.

Capoeira abolicao is a great school for children all of ages.  My son joined back in 2018 when he was 5 years old and immediately fell in love with it.  Mestre Delei is a highly skilled professional in this sport.  Each class incorporates capoeira movements and music into games and group activities, also children learn about the Brazilian culture and language.   Highly recommend it.

Capoeira it's the best Martial Art that you can ever train and we are taught by the best Mestre in Miami Mestre Delei, who was a pioneer bringing the Martial Art to Florida more than 20 years ago. Capoeira is not only a Martial Art but is a life style that involves discipline, respect, passion, dedication and hard work, you will not only get the benefits of training a discipline but you will get involve with the culture, the language and the music, we are not loud we just practice music and play instruments, which are crucial in this Martial Art, we don't agitate kids, we encourage them to be a better person and be dedicated and passionate of what they do, we are a family and we are proud of our team.

When I relocated to Miami, I was recommended to train with Capoeira Abolição by my group in New York, which didn't have a representation here. I was welcomed with open arms and the training at the academy quickly became a cornerstone of my life. :If i tell you that i have been curious about Capoeira since i was 9 years old...
At first when i joined the group i thought about gaining more confidence to go forward and be able to meet more people. I use to be a not so outgoing person😂😂. I joined the group about 1 year ago, met different people from kids to adults with different background. Gradually started to get close to them, learn new things either be physically or psychologically.
Capoeira is for me well hard to define in a few words.
However if u asked me about Capoeira Abolicao i would answer right away its my family. Everybody is nice, they are fun. I really cherish every single class and event with them!!

I've done Judo, Taekwondo, and Kung-Fu, but once I tried Capoeira I felt that I was really pushing my body to it's limits (in a good way!) I ended up taking a 15 year break from not just Capoeira but my overall activity level gradually diminished as well. Now I'm back in the new location and with a renewed sense of vigor and urgency to get my health back on track. The new facility is great! I love the attention to detail all the instructors demonstrate. As a music educator I really appreciate the fine details in technique. It truly shows not just their knowledge but their caring in making sure we do the moves in a way that will not just avoid injuries but facilitate the moves to the point where they look beautiful, strong, and effortless.
I especially love how many aspects there are to capoeira. The need to be versatile draws me in. Capoeira will improve your strength, balance, coordination, posture, flexibility, agility, power, and also your rhythm! The music and language is also a great bonus, as is learning of it's history! Most people sign up to a gym and work on strength, yoga for flexibility, music classes to learn instruments, dance classes for rhythm, language classes to learn a new language etc... with Capoeira Aboliçao you get all of the above and more!
