My recent visit to Lake Nona Ophthalmology was exceptional, largely thanks to Dr. Chirag Patel's expertise and approachable manner. The clinic's atmosphere is pristine and inviting, which made me feel relaxed immediately. Dr. Patel was thorough in his examination and took his time to explain my diagnosis in understandable terms, which I greatly appreciated. His staff is also commendable for their efficiency and kindness. I left the appointment feeling well-informed and cared for. Highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone needing attentive and professional eye care!

The staff were exceptional! The office uses modern technology. Waiting area was spacious, near and clean. The staff was very professional, courteous, accommodating, funny, fun, thorough and they made it a joy to be there. The doctor was also thorough and explained everything. Dr. Patel also allowed time for questions that I may have had. I highly recommend Lake Nona Ophthalmology.

I had a really great experience. The office is beautiful and very clean. The staff were all very kind and professional. Dr. Ahmed was very friendly, funny, and made me feel immediately comfortable. He did a fantastic job explaining things to me in a way I could understand. I highly recommend him!

I was pleased with my recent visit to see Dr. Patel. The staff members I encountered were all pleasant and professional. Dr. Patel showed compassion and patience with the concerns and questions I had regarding my condition. He was very reassuring.

I had an eye injury and struggled to find an ophthalmologist with availability to see me. Lake Nona Ophthalmology got me right in, and they were fantastic every step of the way. From the receptionist answering the phone (who also gave me directions when I got lost), to the gentleman who brought me back and did my intake and dilation, to Dr. Patel giving a thorough exam and making sure I was on the right path to healing.

I can’t recommend this office highly enough, and if I ever need eye care again I will definitely be returning.

Phenomenal doctors who are very present. Never felt rushed during any of my visits. They will listen with care and compassion and make you feel like you're the only patient they're seeing that day. Highly recommend!

I am elated with the care my mother received from Dr. Ahmed and staff today. We needed additional assistance transferring my mother from her wheelchair to and from the examination chair. Both the doctor and another staff member transferred her. The treatment Dr. Ahmed prescribed is conservative and more agreeable than her previous ophthalmologist’s recommendations. The office staff is top-notch, too. They were exceedingly kind, gracious and generous with us at every turn, especially after a stressful afternoon. I am relieved to feel positively about my mom’s optical care going forward. Thank you, Dr. Ahmed and staff, for the best-in-class care!

Upon entering the office i was greeted warmly and asked to be seated. Within minutes i was called and ushered into a room where the technician did some tests . Then i was brought into another room to wait for Dr Patel, and he came in after about a 5 minute wait. He checked
My eyes asked some questions and gave me an overview of what he saw. He was polite and cordial as was everyone else i encountered . Overall it was a wonderful experience in an immaculately clean environment

I used to wear thick glasses with a prescription of -12, a testament to my severe vision problems. My initial visit was about floater issues, but Beatriz, an angel in disguise, suggested a different path. She, along with Dr. Patel, were nothing short of superheroes in my journey. They held my hand, metaphorically, through each step, offering reassurance and support.

The day of the surgery was a whirlwind of nerves, but Dr. Patel's presence was a calming force, instilling in me a trust that was invaluable. The results? Phenomenal. My vision has drastically improved, surpassing all expectations. It's a gradual adjustment, but every day is a revelation. The world is now a canvas of brighter colors and vibrant shines.

I'm still adapting to this new clarity, but it's an exhilarating process. To anyone on the brink of giving up on their vision issues, I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing team. Their skill, empathy, and dedication are life-changing.

I had a horrible experience at Dr Ly Nyguyen’s office. She made me miss two weeks of work because she canceled on me two Fridays in a row saying she was “sick” so I had called eight other ophthalmologists in the area and they couldn’t take me until May. I went on a Facebook group and saw he had really good reviews and he was highly recommended and I had called and the very next day got an appointment for him to see my daughter. the office was beautiful and clean beautiful artwork on the walls the technician Beatrice was super friendly and they have a patient for life. Dr Patel is Simply the best. The place is clean and welcoming, staff are great, waiting is normal as any place else and he is just great!! Had both eyes done in 2017 and they are working great, thank you Dr Patel!!

Nice visit. Staff is very friendly and professional. If I had any complaint, it would be the wait time to see the doctor, but on the other hand, Dr. Ahmed takes time with you answering any questions or concerns.

Thank you to Dr Patel and team for a great experience! I had initially seen Dr Patel a couple of years ago for a possible foreign body in my eye and after he took great care of me i always thought of doing LASIK. From pre meetings to the procedure itself to post op evals the entire team was amazing. They kept in constant touch with me to make sure i was doing well. The front office staff were always smiling and my appointments were alway on time. Beatrice (office manager) was always friendly and is such a wonderful person and personable. I loved working with her. Dr Patel never rushed my appointments and gave ample time to ask my questions and to answer them. Even after the procedure the whole team including Dr Ahmed were helpful and never dismissed my concerns. I'm now almost 3 weeks post -op and everyday my sight gets better and better.
