Amazing Mexican food at great prices. Mexican restaurant and Tienda. Burritos are giant. Tacos are perfect. Friendly place. Also bought two packs of fresh corn tortillas and salsas to take home.

Great little hole-in-the-wall place. The food was very good and authentic. The store part is fully stocked with many items so while you wait on your food you can shop around.

I moved here from California and my husband and I think the food here is as good as that found in San Diego, which is pretty terrific. The secret here is the meats, which are seasoned to perfection, though my daughter is vegetarian and she loves the food here too. Portions are large. An added bonus is you can check out the in house grocery store and pick up some Mexican candy for dessert or ingredients to make something at home. They even have a great selection of leather cowboy and work boots. The dining area is pretty typical for a traditional taqueria, nothing fancy. But then again, you are here for the food, right?

Fantastic food, very casual atmosphere (which is not a bad thing I have it two stars because five would seem like maybe it's a dressy place)

Everything and everyone that works and own the Restaurant/Grocery Store are AMAZING !! Oh and the food is as authentic as it gets. The Pasole is also huge and amazingly delicious.

I ordered the enchiladas which came with rice and beans. Also pictures is a steak and cheese empanada. The food was nice and hot, tasted fresh and home made. Large portions for the price compared to other Hispanic restaurants I've visited. They include plenty of sauces to pour over the enchiladas. The empanada was nicely cheesy might I add. My only gripe was the beans was a little too salty. Otherwise I will be coming back again

The burritos were spot on, I got the burrito with flaming hot Cheetos and some potatoes, melted cheese with carne asada. My lady got the barbacoa burrito, which was so well seasoned.

We shared a horchata as the portions and cups are huge. The entrees can feed a large man easily. The pricing is extremely affordable and the selection in the actual grocery store are very reasonable.

The food here is amazing. Very authentic, like grandma cooked it. Very nice people and very good service. 100 % recommended

Best Mexican food this side of the Mississippi. 6yr Marine stationed in Southern California says so!!!

OMG! What a hidden gem!

This place is a Mexican market with a restaurant/grill inside. The prices are ridiculously low and the quantity and quality of the food is huge for the value! We enjoyed chicken and pork tamales and an order of nachos. The green salsa (Verde) for the tamales was spicy and very flavorful. The chicken tamales were good and the pork tamales were exceptional! I prefer a little less masa but these pork tamales were packin' some flavor. Now on to the nachos. Think back to the last time you had good nachos. Did you put salsa on them? Well the nachos at La Botana were so rich and flavorful that I didn't even realize that there was no salsa on the nachos until we had devoured them. These nachos were covered in beans, cheese, jalapenos, lots of salantro, crema, and beef. Maybe a little spring onion too! My wife and I were in complete agreement that our nachos at La Botana were the BEST nachos we had ever had!

My husband I love eating here. It's a great little whole in the wall with delicious food.

Drove by a few times. Finally stopped in, has a nice little shop in the front and in the back is spot to eat, really nice very friendly staff. Food was delicious!!! Also came out quick. I will definitely stop by more often when I pass through.

Oh yeah…You’ll want to order something to-go too. Authentic and delicious every time no matter what is ordered. This is ceviche tostada. Simple. Fresh. Lengua Torta w beans n rice for dinner. Yum yum yum.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I was passing through on my way home and spotted this little Mexican restaurant. The prices are great. The food was excellent. It’s also a little store filled with yummy snacks and other Hispanic foods in spices.

Do not get fooled of the outer look of this place. We stopped and left because of the outer look (bit traditional Mexican type nad not a great look). But after driving some distance we decided to come back. The food here was Amazing. They are being prepared from native Mexican hands. Hand pretty cheaper compared to Mexican place in South FL. If you are driving through Lake Wells, this is the place to stop!
