My family has taken our vehicles to Keith since he and his father Walt owned the Texaco station across from the VA hospital in Bay Pines. My grandparents were the first and three generations later we still take ours cars to Keith. He is an honest and fair mechanic. If he thinks the car is not worth an expensive repair he will tell you the truth even if it costs him business. I have never had an issue with any of his work. He is definitely a highly skilled mechanic. He has done brakes, transmission work,fuel pumps, radiator repairs and many other repairs that have been necessary in my grandparents,my parents, myself and my husband's cars and now our kids cars. When any of our friends need car repairs we always send them to Keith. I know that when he quotes me a price there will be no hidden or extra fees. They always call and discuss the situation with you and are knowledgeable and helpful. The lady that runs the office is awesome as well. She is very helpful and kind. We will continue to bring any cars needing repair to Bay Pines Automotive for as long as it remains in business and we hope it does for a long time 😊

I’ve been taking my vehicle to Bay Pines for almost 2 years now every time I have car trouble. Keith is the absolute best and the lady at the desk (I forgot her name) but, my last repair Keith went above and beyond, he got the problem fixed, let me know all that I needed to know, the pros cons etc, without sugarcoating. Their prices are very reasonable. Customer service is excellent. No complaints.

My friend has been telling me to go to Bay Pines for my auto repair needs for years because she keeps hearing my horror stories of getting ripped off by mechanics around town.

After getting a quote for over $900 to replace a belt system on my car, I thought it was a good time to get a second opinion. I brought my car in today and a couple hours later, I was out the door with my car fixed for just under $300.

It's hard to find a good honest repair shop that isn't out to steal your money. I think I found a hidden gem here. They were kind, courteous and genuine, not to mention professional.

I would recommend this shop for any repairs or if you need a second opinion on a high quote from somewhere else. Thanks guys! I'll definitely be back when I need to be.

Hands down best place to take your car. Have used Keith for over 25 years, I have never had more trust in a mechanic. I know the work will be done right and at the best price. He is all about quality work, if you want it done right and a great price, this is the place to go.

I can't speak highly enough of Bay Pines Automotive. They are honest and fair on their pricing. I had an issue with my Sonata going into "Limp mode" and asked them to replace a Knock Sensor. They were able to plug in a code reader and pull up a recall I had no idea about. I was able to get my car fixed for free by Hyundai but they have earned a customer for all of my future needs. Thank you!

These people are amazing.. These people are my go to mechanics. I've read through all the pervious comments and had to write my own review. They have helped me with 3 of my vehicles. A Toyota Tacoma, Chevy Blazer and a Nissan Rogue. All have been complicated and expensive. However they didn't take any short cuts and I am forever grateful for these people who take pride and joy in their work. I am a single mother of 3 children (one who is disabled) and I must say it feels nice when your vehicle breaks down and you're ALREADY sad and stressed to know you have honest people who will take care of you.
Remember they have to make a living too and most vehicle repairs aren't cheap as it is. YOU MUST KEEP AN OPEN LINE OF COMMUNICATION. They have always taken the time to explain and show me when I didn't fully understand something.

The owner is very good at what he does! He saved me lot's of money! My truck was overheating, he tested the radiator and said it was blocked, thank God it wasn't a head gasket! He was Very Honest with me and I took a chance to have it flushed by him (Chance being if it would work) IT DID! Thank You Mr. Owner, I could not be happier with it! Well I will no longer be looking for a reliable auto repair business. I found one with Baypines. Just before leaving for a trip in our dodge 3500 we had some issues with the brakes. These people immediately took care of us. Knowing we were in a time crunch and didn't know us from Adam they could have taken advantage of our situation and really hosed us. However they were extremely fair and were so friendly ! This place is like a throw back into times when you as a customer are treated with gratitude and appreciation for your business. This place rocks !!!! Thank you to all who helped us at Baypines !

Bay Pines Automotive Professionals are old school, honest, hard core auto mechanics. The key to any auto shop is do they do what they say they are going to do AND if they run into something unexpected do you get a phone call first. Check marks on both. I have been a customer for 15+ years and will only recommend these folks to my family and friends. BPAP is a rare find in auto repair.

5 stars and a BIG THANK YOU to the crew at Bay Pines Auto. My turning signal light went out and I was referred to these guys by an auto parts store in the area. I dropped by without an appointment and they were happy to work me in. What I thought would be a simple bulb-swap required putting my car up on a lift, taking off the wheel & removing the fender just to get to the bulb. They didn't have the bulb my car required in-stock, nor did any dealerships or parts stores nearby. They tracked one down that afternoon, ordered it, and called me the next morning (a Saturday) to let me know I could come by anytime & they would get me taken care of. When I went back in, they removed the wheel and fender, only to find that the bulb the parts store sent wasn't the one they actually needed. They put me back together, assured me that they WOULD find me the RIGHT turning signal bulb, and they did. I dropped by again today, mid-afternoon, without an appointment, and they worked me right in--no problem. A local dealership claimed this repair would require approximately 2.5 hours worth of labor, in addition to the cost of the bulb (which they didn't have in stock). Bay Pines had me in and out of their shop in less than 45 minutes, for a FRACTION of the cost! I couldn't be happier with the service I received!

Great service from just a simple phone call of a estimate to my repair. The staff is great and very friendly. They did wonderful work and I will most certainly be using them in the future for any repairs I need.
