Came in with an open box with my item in it and a shipping label, I was in town for business and didn't have any shipping supplies with me, the women there were very nice and helped me package it with the provided tape and send it out!

There was a time when I would talk about this post office, vis a vis the post office in Manhattan on Third Avenue and 90th street, and say it was spectacular. The people who worked there were real people people and enjoyed their job and made the post office a place you wanted to visit. It was robust, the lighting was bright............and that was only a few years ago.

In New York, the people who worked there were unfriendly, surly, hated their jobs and had a real attitude. They didn't care that they caused huge lines. Purely "union workers"

With the downsizing of the postal staff, our once terrific post office is a shadow of its former self. Yes, the women who work there are really nice and they do their job without a trace of "attitude".....actually, they are as helpful as before..... but the same space is darker (they actually keep most of the lights off), the number of people serving clients is smaller, the number of clients smaller. There is rarely more than one person handling clients at a time. It's sad.

What's interesting is that there are still two post offices on this very small island. Might it not be better to have just one but stop the downhill slide?

I absolutely agree with all other reviewers-the lady at this post office is extremely rude and not helpful. Every year (I spend winters in the area) I dread using the post office. Today, she stood and chatted up the FedEx driver while 4 of us waited in line. She chatted and laughed standing in the lobby. When she finally decided to walk back to her station-she was very dismissive and rude. You would think, of all areas, Palm Beach could and would do better hiring. It’s obvious she was a diversity hire, but she could be polite and thankful for the job-or how about just a nice person in general. These hires are why USPS is failing and become a nightmare and why people prefer sending packages through other carriers.

If you must to go to a post office in Palm Beach do not go to this location. Go to the one in Royal Poinciana Plaza. The only reason I went here is because it is open until 5:30 pm during the week. Both times I have been here, the same postal worker was rude. If she didn’t work for the government, she would have been let go a long time ago. I dreaded going there today, but didn’t want to leave work early. It was another miserable experience where she was rude to me and multiple customers. All who arrived before closing time. She point blank said “I want to go home.” If she had actually helped the customers, we would’ve all left much sooner than we did.

Lady was rude and not helpful. We just need to drop and we asked were and she ignored us. In all normal offices they have place to drop not standing in the line. Very unprofessional and lady if you hate people so much as you do just don’t do this job. Supposed to be helpful and saving time to everyone

I’ve never felt more humiliated in my entire life. Today around 5:10 pm I went to drop off a package with a printed label (for return). I just needed a piece of tape so I could tape the label to the package I was going to return. I’ve done this many times in other Usps offices. An African American lady which I didn’t get her name, just treated me like if I was nothing. Told me several times to buy a roll of tape instead. Then she yelled at me : don’t you understand what I’m saying! In front of another customer and a coworker of hers. I will find another way of address this situation too, because what she did was so wrong, she was rude and mean. Specially if you’re going to work in Palm Beach you must have excellent customer service no matter what.

This is the quietest post office I have ever seen, which does not explain the visible HATRED of the man behind the counter. If you hate this so much, gtfo. go home and sulk.
