My (Dad - Edner) recently passed on February 25, 2024. I used Lakeside Funeral home and Crematory to handle it all. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and service. I would definitely recommend them to others. All arrangements were perfectly, thoughtfully and respectfully done. They made the worst time in my life sustainable with their caring service. The service was beautiful and my loved one looked Great.

I wanted to thank Sharma and Julie for the best send off for my mom Adassa from the first step into the doors I was met with compassion love and a sense of family. A far cry from the many commercial funeral homes in Royal palm beach. My mom was immediately picked from nursing home by lakeside and stay at lakeside until it was time for the big day. Every and I mean EVERYTHING was completely and utterly beautiful. My mom just looked angelic thanks to Sharma and her team. I’m such a picky person there’s no one that exists like me I’m sure. Our personal experience with Lakeside Funeral Home has been positive and comforting. From our first conversation with Shama we knew Dean was placed in the best place for his final journey. Ours was a complicated process having to send our loved one back to the ME for an autopsy after he had been transferred to funerals home. Shama kept us informed every step of the way and eased our anxiety. She and her staff were so comforting at such a difficult time able to handle all our various challenges and emotions a unique quality so important when in grieving process. We are very grateful for all of their wonderful care and support.

On August 9 my father passed, lakeside funeral home was called they greeted me at the door at the with sincere condolences they kept in contact me with the arrangements of the funeral daily, they allowed us to make our own decision and gave us time, my dad looked so nice in his coffin, not too much make up, he even needed gloves for his hands and they gave him without charging the family . She even kept in contact with us after the funeral was conducted. I would recommend Lakeside funeral home to friends and family. I love lakeside funeral home.

On November 22, 2022, the facility at which my husband was a patient called at 4:34am to let me know that he passed away at 4:24am. They asked if I had funeral home arrangements and I said no. Once they told me their protocol, I told them I had the name and phone number of a funeral home near me. At 4:42am, I called Lakeside Funeral Home expecting to leave a message that early in the morning. To my surprise, a live person answered the phone. She was extremely professional and caring, explained the process of retrieving my husband's body from the hospital onwards, and scheduled a meeting with me for that very day. His thanksgiving memorial was held December 8 at the funeral home and I was updated every step of the way. Everyone was fully satisfied with how my husband's farewell was handled. The staff definitely lessened the stress of planning and executing my beloved's memorial and they even called a few days later to check on how I was doing. Without any hesitation, I would recommend Lakeside Funeral Home & Cremation care to someone who needs the service.

My mother passed away July of this year, Lakeside helped me through the process of preparing her funeral viewing and cremation. They were very thorough, very sensitive to my feelings, compassion, gentle and patient with me. They staff was tremendous, my mother's body was picked up from our home and the two funeral employees treated my mother's body with so much care and delicacy in wrapping her body and taking her away in addition to extending their condolences, acknowledging my and families pain. The staff at Lakeside also guided me with the photo tribute to my mother. They communicated with me in every step of the way. The love and care we received from Lakeside was something we very much needed at a time of great sorrow and pain. They were so compassionate and caring and helped us through the most difficult process of burying our baby girl. They really took the time to console and listen to us. The service was so beautifully done and it was a lasting imprint forever in everyone's hearts and minds. Words cannot express how deeply grateful we are to them.

My grandmother passed suddenly. It was very hard on my family. Lakeside provided so much comfort and clarity in such a very difficult time. They were compassionate through the whole process. Shama even spoke at the viewing which was very touching. The ability to livestream to my family overseas was an amazing benefit provided by Lakeside! I spoke to them the day she passed, and they informed me every step of the way. They were in constant communication with the church. It all went very smoothly. Despite the circumstances of having to use their services, we are forever grateful to Lakeside for their care and compassion.

Sharma and Kilon are kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They helped and guided my family through the process of funeral arrangements with such patience, kindness and dignity. Our family is thrilled we choose them to take care of our mom and the service was first class. Lakeside funeral home was an excellent option to do a tribute to my son and said our goodbye. This was a hard process for the family but they were so compassionate, professional and were there to the last minute for us and made the experience smooth. I can not say enough about the kindness, caring, compassionate staff at Lakeside. From the first phone call to Kilan not knowing what to do or how, he was so patient and thorough in explaining everything. Then our visit with Shama with her compassion and professionalism. Then Camron taking all my phone calls and being so concerned and professional each time. They made a very difficult time as smooth as possible. And my mother looked absolutely beautiful! Lakeside Funeral Home treats you with such care, compassion, and empathy - as if you were family. The loss of my mother was unexpected and extremely devastating. My siblings and I scrambled to look for a funeral home and I called Lakeside simply because it was in close proximity to my mom's house. I have never planned a funeral before and it meant everything to my family to honor her like she deserved. I was greeted over the phone by this extremely warm, patient, professional voice, Shama Rhoden, the funeral director. From the moment we met, she held my hand throughout the funeral planning process and was also a wonderful source of support for me and my siblings. I didn't feel in any way that my experience with Lakeside was transactional. When we had trouble finding a church to perform her ceremony, Shama went out of her way to make it happen. She was always available and extremely prompt in responding to any of our needs. By guiding us through the logistics, she enabled my family to grieve and make the day itself worry-free. Not to mention, my mom looked absolutely elegant and beautiful. She looked more beautiful than she had in years due to failing health. I cried out of joy because she was given the most beautiful simple celebration of life. Even after the funeral day had passed, Shama has since checked in on me and my family by phone at least three times. To me this indicates how much Lakeside is invested in their customers - most places you get an email survey or something impersonal. I will always be grateful for Lakeside Funeral Home. I strongly recommend them to care for your loved one when they pass away. You and your family will be in excellent hands.
