They answer their phones. My installer doesn't. They under stood my issues and made a service appointment for me immediately, my installer didn't. They found the problem and fixed it right then and there, my installer wanted to charge me and wouldn't use the service history log for the repeated issues. Troy and Mike were great! Can't say enough good things about this company.

Many years ago I needed to find a service company to repair my generator system and no one was available to come out except Alternate Power Solutions. Other companies only wanted to repair what they installed.
A tech named Mike came out and identified the problem. We spoke about upgrading and as an engineer I could tell this guy was very knowledgeable about generators. He proved himself with not only his knowledge but his kindness and promptness.
My Generac generator has seen its better days and needs to be replaced. 20 years old. I called Mike and his office the other day requesting an estimate for upgrading and I was told Mike would be out Friday around 8am. He was on time and looked over my equipment and agreed with my assessment. I don’t need to call other companies for estimates because the others are the ones who could not fit me into their schedule years ago so why would I call them. As a business owner myself I can say that your employees can either make or break a company. They’re the ones who see the customers in person every day. To the owner of Alternate Power Solutions you have a wonderful employee there “Mike”. And because of him I just contracted your company to upgrade my system. I’ll give another review when they’re done with the upgrade next month and I’m sure it’s going to be another great review.

Alternate power installed my standby generator, i do not do reviews unless exceptional service has been provided. From sales, to office staff, to techs (erick and troy and their assistants) everything went smooth. i didnt need to be involved with any of the process as they took care of everything. I also had gas lines put in and my yard looks exactly the same as it did before the work. every single person that i had to deal with in this process that works for Alternate was top notch.

We had a generator installed last year after hurricane. I couldnt have been more pleased with the overall experience , from the office staff ( Meggin and Tony) to the technician ( Mike). I have probably called more than a few times with questions and always been met with understanding and great customer service. The pricing was fair and competitive! I would refer Alternate power to all my friends and family. We recently sold our home as well and it was a great selling point for the buyer.

Good company, great people. I choose Alternate Power to install my Kohler generator and could not be happier. Installation went smoothly and they service the generator on schedule. I've been a customer of Alternate Power Solutions for 1 year. The generator needed some work when they initially came out. Now that they have been maintaining it, it's been working great, including just a couple of days ago when we lost power and it had to run for over 2 hours. Matt came out yesterday and I was impressed at how much time he took to make sure everything was working. I used to have to change the battery every year, but Matt made sure that the plugs were cleaned and other maintenance to get a full 3 years out of the battery. He even touched up some rust on the outside casing. I've made a smart decision by having Alternate Power Solutions to take care of my generator.

Called Alternate Power Solutions looking for parts for my generator on Saturday August 31 2019 just before Hurricane Dorian was to hit WPB on Sunday night and spoke to reception they put me in touch with Mike he did not have new parts and told me I could have used parts he had free of charge it was perfect my generator was fixed and working thanks to great service and communication with Mike. I will use this company for all my power needs. Highly Recommended.
