Amazing restaurant! The food? Delicious. The employees? Very friendly and helpful!
Stopped in for dinner during our vacation and thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent here, the waiter was so nice and answered all our questions.
The food was delicious and plentiful! We had leftovers too. We will have to visit again next time im in town. Highly recommended

Don't be fooled by the exterior and pass up this restaurant. The inside is clean and tidy. This was our first visit, and we were greeted and seated right away. The staff were friendly and very helpful with explaining the menu and giving suggestions. To the food; Appetizer: Beef Mandu ( very tasteful),
Main dishes: Beef Bulgogi bento & Seafood Japchae. The food was incredible! And the servings were very generous. Your taste buds will scream, "Yes! Authentic fresh Korean flavors. " Dooriban will be in our rolodex of favorite eateries.

Probably this is the best Korean restaurant in the area, the authenticity is in the DNA, this place is ran by a Korean family bringing their home town taste here.

We came here as a group of 12 colleagues with very different taste buds and got opportunities to try different dishes on the menu, the unanimous feedback from the team is they will come back with their friends and families again as all of us were very satisfied with what we had.

You will be surprised the variety of items the owner is offering on the menu and they charged reasonably, good value for money.
We ordered the Korean chicken wings and Korean seafood pancake to share. I didn’t have chance to take a picture of the full plate of the food, as the group can’t wait to share the food as they taste sooooo good.

I had Korean Galbi which is a beef short rib clear soup, trust me this is a must order item. It is not very common you can get clear soup in the US and they use whole piece of short rib to cook the soup with radish. It must have cooked for so long the meat was very tender.

If you are a big eater , please order fried rice and you can ask for the type of meat either chicken , pork or beef base on your preference. The portion is huge.

The owner is definitely having a very particular standard on the food, we were informed there is only limited amount of over night rice that they have to serve the fried rice. They didn’t use the fresh steamed rice to do fried rice and insisted to use over night rice which has a different level of moist.

One thing I always love about Korean food is they always serve a variety of side dishes, different kimchi , pickles , tofu, very refreshing.

A side note , the restaurant is facing the main road and having plenty of parking spaces , this is one of the major considerations when the owner chose the location.

Words cannot describe how good this restaurant is! I had the 비빔밥 and chicken wings and I want to eat here every day now! Best Korean food in the area.

First time there and loved the food, the portions and all the little dishes.

Dooriban is our favorite Korean restaurant in the area. My boyfriend and I love their veggie mandu (fried dumplings), saucy wings, and you must try the kimchi pancake!! For our main courses, I always get the Ah Goo Tang (spicy monkfish soup with kimchi and tofu). I dream about this soup served bubbling hot in a stone bowl and love to take home leftovers to eat for lunch the next day. My boyfriend loves their rich, savory ramen and the classic bibimbob rice dish also served in a stone bowl with an egg on top. The other photo here is of some of the side dishes (banchan) served to share with your meal. Everything is soo fresh and flavorful! The delicious, authentic food served in the casual atmosphere by warm and friendly staff always makes us feel at home at this local St. Pete spot.

Absolutely delicious! Had the beef Mandu, which was unbelievably crispy. All the sides dishes perfectly balanced the bibimibap and dduk mandu guk. Even with a few big parties, we were able to sit within 10 minutes and the waiters were super friendly. Felt like really family style cooking; we will be back.

Had a delicious dinner here after driving by and wondering about this place quite a few times. Clean, good food and friendly service - easy to look past the atmosphere which is a little too bright.

Was very pleased that the food wasn't overly or inappropriately sweet. So many places have a heavy hand with the sugar and it ruins the food. Not this place, it's great!

The server was nice and helpful with our ordering. We were family of 4, we ordered the Korean hot dog,Kim with fried rice, Ramen, Japchae and squid with rice. The food was very good and came out fast, huge portions too. The fermented rice wine was also ery good, but very strong,one was also 17% the other 14%. Couldn't finish it anyhow,had to take it home. I recommend this place. Great food great service.

Awesome place! The owners are really nice and welcoming people, the food is exceptionally good. The true Korean cuisine with lots of choice. It can be busy at evenings, so my advice is to visit the place at lunch time. They offer couple of lunch options as well. Portions are big, everything is fresh and delicious. I try something new every time I come and I've never left disappointed. The prices are reasonable, nothing crazy, affordable. Absolutely love this place. My favorite restaurant of Korean cuisine for sure.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this place, it’s become sort of a tradition to visit pretty much every weekend. The food is so good you can’t go wrong with anything in the menu and the staff are always so sweet and friendly. Such a “comfort food” kind of place. 10/10 recommend!!

The food is absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff as well. My wife and I shared the #51. It was a party of flavors that will sure to please any taste. It does have some spice, so if you can't handle spicy, don't get it. My daughter got the #20 and was very pleased. Dooriban is worth the visit. Definitely will be back.

Excellent spot for authentic Korean food - our favorite in the Tampa Bay area. Very laid back atmosphere and friendly service.

This place is incredible. Yes, by all likelihood it is inside an old Taco Bell. But the food is fantastic and the side dishes are delicious. They probably have the best kimchi I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.

This was my first experience eating Korean food.Everything I ordered was amazing. 10/10. The potato korn dog was fantastic, the potato had a good crunch consistency to it and the beef mandu was flavorful on the inside and was light and crispy on the outside. Will definitely come here again

Delicious beef bulgolgi, spicy pork bulgolgi, and kimchi stew. You can tell a lot of love and care are put into these dishes because they taste phenomenal. Also, the service is great and the servers themselves are so polite and kind. I’ve never had a bad experience here and recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for outstanding Korean food.

We stopped by on a whim and we’re so glad that we did! Great lunch specials are available from 11:00am to 2:30pm, but we decided to try other options. From the corn dog to the Bibimbap to the Bulgogi, we enjoyed everything. The service was excellent. Even though they were incredibly busy, the service was still attentive. They were apologetic for not being able to serve us quicker, but that was not needed! I’d love to go back and try their soups.

Love love love this place! My go to is the spicy bulgogi, but we recently tried the Tang Su Yook, and it was amazing! The perfect amount of sweetness and fried chicken. My fiance tried the Korean corn dog, and we thought it'd be an odd combo of foods, but it was delicious!

Super delicious, I have tried many items of the menu and each one is very good. All of the sides are always fresh and good as well. I visit Dooriban at least twice a month, definitely recommend! It is a favorite spot!

I’ve come to this place so many times and none of the food they offer failed us. My favorite is their tofu soup and my boyfriend’s is bulgogi. It’s our favorite Korean place in Tampa Bay.
