Kitanda Espresso & Acai

I went here on a whim...Pleasantly surprised. All the smoothies are amazing and healthy it seems. What's a hidden gem for me is the coffee smoothies and the coffee...It's all creamy and excellent. The coconut roll/bun thing is off the hook. The staff is super friendly and eager to assist with a smile. It's so refreshing compared to dealing with online crap, no service, and too much automation at other places. These are real people making your really good drinks and food items and they seem to do it with care and kindness. You won't get that from a machine :). Thanks Kitanda!

Very nice cafe, great baked good and acai bowls. Lots of Brazilian snacks and foods. Coffee smelled so good but I didn't try any today. Acai bowls are good size and filling. Also ordered a beef pocket and ham and cheese bread, both were so warm and soft. Very nice flavors.

Hardly a week goes by that I don't head to Kitanda for coffee and interesting snacks. One of my favorites is the Cheese Roll with coconut on top. I've tried all the Cheese Bread sandwiches: the Romeo and Juliet wins by a small margin, savory and slightly sweet. I also need to mention the staff at the location on 124th Street: I'm usually served by a trio of darling ladies who never fail to put a smile on my face. They're also kind enough to make Seasonal Specials for me out-of-season. It's not the coziest of locations for hanging out but I bring my friends here anyway! Couldn't give 5 stars for the food cuz the flan and mousse disappointed, but there's still plenty to enjoy again and again.

The coffee here is excellent, and the staff members, especially Chris and the manager Pollyanna, are exceptionally friendly and kind. Service is fast, well managed place. They have great lattes and food and overall a great experience

That thick creamy foam/head makes for some of the best lattes around. I'm a sucker for that Romeo & Julia cheese bread too, great combo.

Very nice cafe, great baked foods. Lots of Brazilian snacks and foods. Brazilian Coffee smelled and tasted so good. For the past few weekends, I have been a regular visitor to this place.

Really great place to eat! Specially when a being well served by the baristas Cris, Poli and Iza! I go there everyday just because of them! Love the food and the treatment!

The ladies are the best. Everytime I placed an app order they would have it ready by the time I walk in. They're always cheerful and always have a huge smile on their faces.

Love this place! The coffee and food is delicious! Always recommend the original cheese bread. But the Romeo and Juliet and the chicken cone are tasty too. I just tried the Pimenta Mocha and the Chococcino and those are fantastic!

They are very helpful and fast. I always get my Brazilian Latte and one cheese bread sandwich

We tried this place a few weeks ago, and have returned since. Their Acai bowls are a healthy delicious alternative to a traditional breakfast or any meal time.

I am always happy to stop by with my family and friends to drink some fresh and delicious coffee. I would also like to note the Brazilian cheese bread, this aroma and taste cannot be described in words. always good service, cleanliness and comfort. also a good location, very convenient to enter and exit the parking lot.

I still appreciate when I went there during their closing hour, I was 5mn late but they opened to me “ thank you “ . To be honest it means a lot becuase my son was begging me for their cheese bread that day . He was jumping up and down happily.

Fantastic! Best gluten-free breakfast sandwiches ever. And a Brazilian latte is a class above the standard latte.

One of my favorite places for Açaí bowls (plastic cup) if you’ve had one you know this is how they come. I wish we had found this place sooner as it’s (at least) a once a week place for us. They have a few sizes and some that can be modified with your favorite topping… fruits, berries, nuts, granola, peanut butter (yum), coconut (no, not for me) and some with cream. They have a new place coming soon that is bigger and will be nicer in every aspect. They have a small shopping area for Brazilian food and snacks. Oh and the coffees are great! All the meats baked in breads look fantastic!

Really delicious Acai bowls and smoothies. Better than I expected. Very healthy. Brazilian goodies sold here as well!

Always friendly. Quick service despite many customers. Chicken cone is my favorite.
