Holiday Inn Express Atlanta NE - I-85 Clairmont, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was our home for one week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is conveniently located near a major highway, which made it easy for us to visit downtown Atlanta. Although there is an apartment complex construction nearby and constant traffic on I-85, it was surprisingly quiet, and we rested very well. I particularly appreciated that they tidied up our room every day, even without us asking. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the parking lot was well-lit, making us feel very safe. We will definitely return if we have business in Atlanta again.

The hotel has been recently renovated. Our room was impeccable including the linens and towels. The microwave, mini fridge and Keurig were clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff worked
so well together, we thought that it was their own business. It always smells and looks clean, the lounge the dining area and carpets all around. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked with a generous array of items to choose from and food was always warm . The area was clean and you can get a coffee, tea or hot chocolate any time after breakfast is over. Antonio was very thoughtful and kept the breakfast assortments opened a bit longer than 930 as it was Thanksgiving . The Christmas tree at the foyer is beautifully decorated . Overall a very positive, pleasant stay . I would definitely return and stay at this hotel. It was conveniently close to our aunt's place less than 10 minutes walk.

Joanne was great. She helped me change my reservation without a penalty after I messed up. The room was the best I've been in, and breakfast was nice. Joanne was always cheerful and always greeted me when she saw me. Thank you, Joanne, it was a very pleasant stay!

First time here for a quick break.. it was a nice and cozy location. Parking lot is small one way in and out but accessible. The building and lobby was cute and it smelt really nice. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. The shower pressure was amazing. Complementary breakfast was nice and filling. Across from Sam's Club which we went after check out. Close to gas stations and some restaurants. Close to home will come again.

So HAPPY we picked this hotel! Walked in and the Gentlemen who checked us in was so sweet. Later that night we got some recommendations from another Gentlemen for a great dinner! So peaceful and the room was simple clean, it was just right! We left this morning and grabbed some breakfast in the lobby...So good!! We will be back!

Had a great, but short overnight stay here on a recent vacation to Atlanta. Spent first 2 nights at Embassy Suite Downtown (at twice the price!) and it didn't compare to our stay here.
The rooms here are so clean, big, comfy, well appointed. I love the beds at HI and the pillows of various firmness. Staff was super nice, so upbeat and helpful. The breakfast is always good and the woman who put it together was so good at her job, always so polite and helpful too. I always look to HIE whenever I travel because they are consistently good, clean, and I never leave disappointed.

What can I say... Keep Mrs. JoAnn! Keep her!!! She helped me out big time. My stay was so peaceful. Breakfast was good. Listen, they care

Everything was great! I love it when staff welcomes you and greets you with a smile. We felt very welcomed!. The hot breakfast was also great! Loved the turkey meat and egg whites option. Will definitely be back!

Very convenient location and clean , spacious rooms. The service at the front desk was great!!

I was sent to Atlanta for a procedure. The hotel was very clean and neat. Room service was great. The restaurant was okay the staff in the restaurant was wonderful, courteous and friendly.

I just checked in with my two boys and the lady at the front desk was AMAZING! Very patient and kind, took her time giving us a menu for local delivery and helped me with some milk for my crabby little one! We got a room key within minutes and couldn't be happier with our room! The decor is so pretty and everything is very clean and in working order! I would definitely recommend and stay again.

My stay there was fabulous. They staff was very nice and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and nice looking. The room was excellent, very clean, nice smelling and everything worked in the room. The front desk personnel was so so nice and professional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Atlanta has a myriad of hotels. However, I chose this HIE because it was very close in proximity to Emory University hospital which I needed to be at very early the next day. Upon arrival I was very anxious, the desk clerk was fantastic, very nice, helpful, and reassuring. The room was quite nice and very clean, the bed and pillows were amazing, plus the TV was a flat screen with numerous channels. I needed to write a paper for school and the desk, and the ergo chair was great. I checked out quite early and yet again I received the same great service and for it being so early everyone working was cheerful. The clerk offered to print me a map to the hospital which I almost didn’t take as I have GPS on my phone but thankfully I accepted it because halfway there I lost satellite (storm maybe) without the map I would have been lost and quite late. I have stayed in a few 4-star hotels with much nicer accommodations however even those high priced hotels did not come close to matching the level of customer service at HIE. I will definitely stay there again, and I will certainly recommend it to my all my friends and family who may be in need of a hotel in the area. The price is right, the accommodations are good, and the service is great, so there is not much more you can ask for!

Very nice staff. They were remodeling so things were torn up a little bit but the rooms were clean and the beds were amazing!! The housekeeping was perfect and the taking go breakfast considering it was under construction with awesome!

The room was clean and well stocked with the essentials. No funny smells of any kind. What sent over the top was all of the staff that helped us but especiallyJoanne (hope I spelled your name right!) She was as sweet as could be. She was there in the morning when we left to go out and was still working at night when we got back. Even after those long hours she still greeted us like we were old friends and made us feel welcome. 10/10. And the Christmas tree she spent a week decorating looked stellar too

Great hotel and good price. Fairly new renovated hotel with comfortable rooms and good HVAC. Free breakfast buffet was well stocked and fresh. Good central location to downtown and shops. Highly recommended.

Joanna is super friendly and helpful. Her staff are hard workers and she makes sure that each guest is accommodated and comfortable. The property is really great. With a near new look and the rooms are in great condition.

Interior is newly furnished and construction is completed. Breakfast was great with plenty of options including hot and cold meals. Clean rooms and kind service, would stay again.

The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. The room was clean and actually had a lot more space than i expected. It had a very modern feel to it and was overall a great stay.

My stay at the Holiday Inn in Atlanta was nice as it is, but this particular staff went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. When running late for a meeting early one morning, they went out of their way to help me find transportation and get there on time. They followed up with me and actively sought out how to make my stay even better. I cannot commend this staff enough!
