Hands down the closest you’ll get to authentic, fresh and delicious Italian food! It’s like you walked into a cozy typical restaurant in Italy! They treat you like family and you feel as if you’re having Sunday family dinner at your nonna’s house. The food is made to order, with fresh ingredients and you can tell made with love! You can hear the Chef Aldo singing, and he takes the time to greet you, the service is so friendly! So happy that this hidden gem has arrived and will hopefully be a staple for years to come in this area! Can’t wait to be back Chef Aldo and his daughter are the sweetest!

I just had dinner last night at Chef, Aldo’s Cucina Italiana and it was a great experience.
The establishment is quaint and very personable. They’ve been open a little over two months and it definitely the best Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at in a 30 mile radius (I can attest to the quality since I lived in Italy for 4 years).
I had the linguine Di Mare and it was extraordinary; my wife had the ravioli filled with butternut squash and cream sauce with pork cheek…it was an incredible dish. Chef Aldo is in the process of hiring additional staff; but in the meantime visit the restaurant be patient and enjoy real Italian cuisine. You will definitely recommend to your friends and crave a return visit.

Aldo Yo’s is a gem hidden in plain sight. My husband and I went here tonight for the first time for our anniversary and it definitely won’t be our last. The dining room is quaint but very inviting. The service was fantastic but the food was definitely the star of the show. We started with the Tagliere di Salumi which was amazing and for our entrees we got the carbonara and one of the specials which was a pasta dish with short rib. Everything was so fresh and authentic that it was hard to imagine we were still in debary. Everything is very reasonably priced too! Hands down one of the best restaurants in our area, if you have been wanting to try it- run don’t walk, this place is amazing!

Delightful experience at a new Italian restaurant in DeBary. Yes, I'm always willing to drive to new places. Aldos is actually just a few miles down on the left hand side once you cross over the bridge from Sanford.

Chef Aldo is from Naples. The food is fantastic!

He has only been open a month. It is a small place and when we walked in the center table was filled with Italians speaking Italian! Chef Aldo was chatting with them and greeted us. I got a hug because he remembered me from the previous restaurant he was in.

Our server, Bella came over quickly to ask about the drinks. I held off on wine until I was ready to order my entree.

I asked Aldo about the specials. One of the appetizer specials was grilled eggplant, with a fried mozzarella ball and prosciutto. It was very good. My other guest opted for fresh made meatballs (Polpette Al Suigo) They were tender, not dense and flavorful. The sauce was picked up nicely with the complimentary bread.

I chose the special Ragu Napolitano. This is literally sublime. The red sauce had been cooked for hours with meatballs, sausage, short ribs, pork all over fresh rigatoni. There was so much meat. It fell off the bone and I can't wait for leftovers because I just know it's even going to taste better tomorrow.

The lasagna ala Bolognese got high reviews. The scallopini Alla parmigiana with requested bolognese sauce was very good. The veal was tender and flavorful. The remark from my guest was the sauce was better than our local Italian go to. You could get fresh spaghetti or vegetable with it. The spaghetti normally gets left behind but here the entire plate was cleaned.

I had the Montepulicino by the glass. It was a perfect compliment to the meal.

Chef Aldo brought us complimentary prosecco zabaione.

We ordered the house made panna cotta and eclairs. So sinful!

He then topped it off by bringing us a complimentary glass of prosecco. He gave a glass to everyone in the restaurant.

Overall experience was just wonderful!

It is worth the drive to DeBary for sure!

Enjoy!

Easily one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. Extremely authentic and delicious food, and our server Bella was amazing. She even brought out a free tiramisu for our 10th anniversary! Highly recommend!

Our first visit to Aldo's new Cucina. We both loved our entrees and appetizer of Calamari Dorzti, which included the tentacles that so many restaurants don't include nowadays. The regular caesar salad was very good. Polo Piccante & Penne Alla Vodka e procciutto were excellent. We intent to return soon and sample Aldo's other creations. It was very cold for an older person with the door open on a 40-50 degree Florida evening, but fine when it was kept shut.

This is by far the most authentic Italian cuisine this far south of Little Italy. The owner/chef is real and is honestly the sweetest person. The food is delectable, tasty, and irresistible. This is my third trip to eat with friends and even the bougie friends agreed that this place is amazing. Just go there and have an appetizer and if you enjoy it, stay for a whole meal!

I don't tend to write reviews, this place is worth it though. Yo! What good food! I was looking for a little place to spend a bit of time and get a good meal and ran by this one. Chef Yo's food is real real. Real real delicious! My one worry coming in was that the business is fronted with a to-go hot plate style of dining, however I was greeted by a lovely lady who helped me figure out what I might like. Their menu is a bit large, but harbors a great variety of homecooked meals. Certainly going to be back to try Momma's Meatloaf. Today I got an order of Wings and a French Dip with a side of coleslaw. The wings, though the menu does not say so, came with a decent side of fries, and my choice of ranch or bleu cheese (I went with the former..) I got them tossed in their own Kickin' Sauce which fly-kicked my mouth karate style with flavor. They weren't as spicy as I was hoping for so I asked for a side of a spicier sauce and was eagerly helped. After eating most of my wings and fries I moved on to the French Dip thst came with a very large portion of their crispy fries. I was a little worried about the small portions of ever so slightly burnt edges of the bread however... It didn't taste burnt at all! In fact the roll was quite moist and the beef *chef's kiss*. Laced with mozzarella that gave a nice chew after of course dipping this frenchy in their very savory Au Jus. It also came with horsey sauce, to add a perfect kick to this tastey sub.
I'll finish this verbose review with- COME EAT AT YO'S. You're sleeping if you miss this little home style restaurant beeming with great smelling, delectable foods and friendly staff. Will be returning soon.

First time there tonight and I was very impressed. Authentic home cooked cuisine. It reminds me totally of my Mom's dinners. Try the chicken & dumplings or the meatloaf!! You will not be disappointed with whatever you order. From what I've heard even better things are planned for this establishment in the near future. Hard to improve on EXCELLENT but these two co-owners may prove to be the DYNAMIC DUO.

DeBary struck Italian gold with this gem of a restaurant. This was our third visit and again, every dish was absolutely delicious! The rice balls appetizer special was scrumptious - breaded and crispy outside with soft deliciousness inside. I had the chicken parm and my husband had the veal marsala. Both meals were perfectly cooked with generous portions. Aldo's greetings and conversations with the customers adds the perfect touch to our new favorite Italian restaurant!

Had a great experience. The staff is so welcoming. The food was delicious!! I recommend Aldo Yo’s to anyone looking for authentic Italian food. Debary is an up a coming area with not a lot of food choices. Such a great addition. I went for a light lunch, and will be back for dinner to try more.
I had the chicken and dumpling soup, carpaccio, and brought home Marsala ravioli’s. Delicious, and fresh. I can’t wait to try the lasagna. And the prices are very fair for what you get. Good luck to Aldo Yo’s. See ya soon.

Sorprendente!!!!! Translation, Amazing!!! I've wanted to try this place since it opened and finally got the opportunity during the holidays!! We were greeted like family the moment we walked in! Aldo introduced himself and greeted us like we were regulars, so special!! Bella promptly met us at the table!! So sweet and very informative about the menu! She was so passionate explaining everything to us, with great detail!! We started with Burratta pepperoni arrosto E, it was so fresh and creamy. The tomatoes were vine ripened with the basil so large and crisp (that is the best choice for words, so good I'm basically at a loss for words) we wanted to order more but held off because we knew the entrée was next. We ordered 3 specials, one was Ragu Napolitano and two seabass with picada(one with pasta, the other with veggies) Fourth entrée was spaghetti and meatballs. See photos of all!
We saved room for dessert and ordered two to share. One was a must as they were fresh made éclairs (and I think a one night only treat, sorry peeps) they were decadent! Utter perfection, just the right amount of cream, sweetness and slight crunch on the pastry. The other was cannoli scicilana.. deliciosa!!
So many other items to choose from so we will definitely return! We are blessed to have this gem a mile from our home!!
Aldo, Bella and Maddie, this was the highlight of our holiday kick off!! Grazie and Buon Natale!!

So happy to have found Aldo who was a chef in another Italian restaurant in Debary. We missed his food when he left the other location. As always food was amazing and the service is always great . We always feel like you’re having dinner with family when we are here. They remember your name and what you like . So happy he is back in Debary . We will be back often!
