Feb 2021 DeLand - Installing an entirely new roof is a relatively daunting and expensive endeavor, not to be taken lightly! You have to interview at least three to five different companies, which can be a frustrating task. You have to worry about whether the person who comes to your house is genuinely interested in selling you what you need... or simply trying to sell you whatever they can get you to buy. The first two companies that came out were only interested in trying to figure out how we could make an insurance claim for hail damage that didn't exist.... one guy came out and gave us a relatively low estimate and seemed genuinely interested in helping us, but once we started asking a lot of questions he stopped responding to my emails.

Then came Noland's. They were different from the others from the very beginning. Different in a great way. Professional, honest, responsive, trustworthy and reliable. We were visited by Nathan, who in hindsight was best thing that could have ever happened to us for getting things started. He listened to what we were asking for, inspected our roof, made recommendations, and put up with several months of indecisiveness over specifically what product we wanted installed, and delays due to some personal things going on with our family. He never imposed, but he did keep in touch asking if there was anything he could do to help us make a decision. We never felt like we were just trying to be sold something, rather we felt like he was just trying to help us make a practical decision. It was either late November or early December 2020 that we finally decided to pull the trigger and sign the contract. Nathan stayed in contact with us regularly from that point on, giving us updates as to the status of the permitting and when we could expect the job to begin...

Once the work began, Robby, our project manager stayed in touch with me regularly throughout the several days it took to complete the job. He sent pictures of each phase of the job from tear down to completion. Thereafter we also had Noland's install new fascia and soffits, as well as new gutters and downspouts. I was amazed at how professional Nathan and Robby and their entire crew were throughout the entire job. There were no surprises, no disappointments, no lies. Everything I was told would happen, actually happened. There were no hidden costs, and no add-ons that were unreasonable.

No one likes spending the kind of money we had to spend completely out-of-pocket to get a new roof (this wasn't an insurance job, it was just a roof that finally needed to be replaced). But after experiencing the job and the level of care provided by Nathan and Robby, writing the check didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would! Clearly, you can see that I highly recommend Noland's Roofing, and if you can get Nathan and Robby on your team, you'll have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I needed a document to renew my homeowners coverage. I called Carol @ Nolan’s’ Roofing. She said the document was in the possession of Orange City. We called and right away got a call back from Mike Steffenson he made the whole process so easy. Always answered our calls, texts and emails, which is very rare nowadays. So grateful to him! Our warehouse was hit was by a F-1 tornado and did approximately $35k in damage (roof, building paint, awning, vinyl gate, and metal trim). After interviewing several roofing companies, we decided on Noland's Roofing in Orange City. Most companies that sought to fix our damage were more concerned about how they would contribute to our deductible and how they could save us money; complete sales pitch without inspecting a thing. Our representative from Noland's, Nathan, was different. The first thing Nathan did was inspect the building, including getting on the roof and catalog, with pictures, the visible damage he found. Once he inspected the building, he sat down with us to discuss his findings and what Noland's could do for us. His approach was different, unlike the others which were akin to ambulance chasers fishing for business. Nathan talked about Noland's history, its long-standing relationships with its vendors and subcontractors, and how they would work with the claims adjuster to ensure all claims made were accurately documented for justification. There was no hard sell. It was about the relationship we could expect throughout the entire process and to us that was important.

Once we started the claim, Nathan stayed on the front-line and was our point of contact. He was accessible and took the time to discuss our damage concerns. There were multiple times through the process that our insurance company denied aspects of our claim. However, Nathan’s experience told him differently. He came back out, re-documented, and resubmitted. Ultimately, each denied part of our overall claim was accepted, including a $10k repainting of our entire warehouse, which had been denied two times prior by our claim adjuster.

After the insurance scope was defined and coverage agreed upon, the work began. Again, Nathan was on point and communicated with us each step of the way, from scheduling the trades to completion. Once each job was completed, he met with us to ensure, not only we were happy with the job, but he was satisfied with the work as well.

Throughout the entire process, Nathan was accessible, attentive to our needs, and showed he genuinely cared. Overall, we could not be more pleased selecting Noland’s Roofing. From our first interview with Nathan to settling the claim, Noland’s Roofing was fantastic!

I highly recommend using Nolan’s Roofing. Michael Steffenson professional manner played a major roll in getting this project implemented. Since I am out of state, Michael communicated with me during this entire process. I also want to thank Rachel Wilson for her professionalism in letting me know about the schedule of the delivery of the dumpster and roofing material as well as issuing the final permit. A thank you goes out to Stewart the Project Manager. He also communicated professionally with me about the progress of the project. The photos he sent of the different phases of the installation was most helpful, since I could not be on site. Thank you Team for all your help.

Nathan, Robby, and the whole team were great to work with! Nathan answered my questions and worked with the insurance inspector to help determine that our roof needed replacing. Robby texted pictures of the work in progress to keep me up to date. The team of roofers were amazing and cleaned up at the end of each day. In the end, I have a beautiful new roof and I'm very thankful to the pros at Noland's Roofing for making it happen.

I could't be happier with Noland's Roofing. They replaced the roof to my townhome the year previous to me buying and have continued to do excellent work throughout my community. I had them install a gutter over my garage door and screens on my existing gutters in July 2020. They were prompt and efficient. The estimate/price was completely acceptable. Juan Cruz was an an invaluable contact throughout the whole process. He never made me feel like any question was too small. He was always prompt to return my calls. I would use them again without reservations.

Nate Mitchell was my rep who came out and examined my roof. He was very professional and guided me through the process with my insurance. With his help I was able to to get a full repair. Once it was a done deal, the Noland’s roof by team was able to get my entire roof tore down and installed in two days. Robby was the site supervisor and was constantly providing me with updates on status. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Nolands Roofing! I had the pleasure to work with ANDREW MILLER. He was very thorough. He treated my house like his own. He was always concerned about my familys comfort during repairs. He communicated/explained every detail of installing/repairs. It was a long process and such a headache waiting on permits but through it all Andrew stayed on top of everything and went above and beyond. It was worth it. My home looks like a brand new house.
