Northside Cherokee Surgical Associates - Woodstock

I just started working here and absolutely love it. I’m not sure about the two old reviews from years ago about appointment scheduling, but Angie at our front desk now is extremely helpful, kind and responsive to everyone I’ve seen her interact with. The offices themselves are impeccable and filled with photo art of local destinations, which gives it a very fresh, warming feel. Dr Wolfe has a busy practice and is very dedicated to his patients. I look forward to caring for new patients in the future and further strengthening our ties with the community!

I was 14 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with appendicitis, which was concerning for me as a patient because I knew that meant surgery. Dr. Kathryn Parker was at my bedside 20 minutes after I was diagnosed and took me straight to the OR to remove my appendix. She is an extremely talented surgeon, and she performed my surgery laparoscopically leaving little to no scarring associated with my surgery. I was back at work in less than 3 days post-surgery. I can’t rave enough about her care, compassion, and skill set. I would 10/10 recommend her care to my friends and family. She is very impressive.

Wonderful staff! I was nervous for my appointment but the front desk and nurse made me very at ease before seeing Dr. Wolfe. The overall feel is that you are cared for here. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable as well. Thank you so much.

Dr. Grant Wolfe saw my son for an inguinal hernia & we received beyond excellent service. We were taken care of from the minute we walked in the door until check out. The employees we're all amazing. I highly recommend this doctor/practice.

Dr Wolfe is amazing! He took such great care of my husband. The office staff is amazing as well! Very easy to make an appointment and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We love them!

Dr. Wolfe preformed surgery on my daughter a year ago. He was wonderful and so was is staff. She did great and has had no problems.

I have attempted to contact the phone # listed on their website 4 times (2 separate days.) The phone rings without any answer until you get a message that says to try again later and disconnects you. There is also not an email address listed on the site make it more difficult to contact. I guess you don't want new patients?

I saw Dr Wolfe on 11/17 for GERD surgery to repair my hiatal hernia

My experience leading up to the surgery was average, after the surgery a few things were realized that could have gone better, but that is not the primary source of my 1-star review.

After surgery, NOONE called or followed-up with me to see how I was doing.

After surgery, I noticed my tongue was in a ton of pain and was swollen and numb. I mentioned this to the post-surgery nurse and she said that it was "normal". This has lasted about 2 weeks to this point I am writing this review, my tongue is still not back to normal. This is likely due to malpractice by the anesthesiologist in regards to the mask they use on me during the surgery.

I was having panic attacks due to one of the medications they prescribed for pain. I called their on-call doctor to ask them for help, they referred me -- on a Sunday -- to my PCP who is not open and that was their only advice. They were not able to prescribe anything to help combat anxiety attacks.

They told me after surgery, I would have an appt to follow-up with the doctor after 2 weeks. Come to find out, they were supposed to tell me to call to make that appointment.

They were supposed to call me to schedule surgery to remove my gallbladder, haven't heard from them. I'll have to see if I can find a Emory doctor to take care of me. It's obvious that these people don't care. I'll be sure to pass this along to my insurance company so they don't pay them. Don't waste your time with this doctor.
