La Petite Academy has incredibly dedicated educators who truly care about the families they serve. The school boasts beautiful playgrounds, a great location, and a wonderful Acting Director, Justine, who has extensive experience running a preschool program. She is dedicated, empathetic, and genuinely seeks the best for the teachers in the school. The curriculum is amazing; teachers use it along with assessments to track your child's progress and conduct awesome parent-teacher conferences to ensure parents are well-informed about their children's education. They offer live camera access to your child's classroom, and a food specialist provides delicious and nutritious meals for the kids. Additionally, they have an app called Sprout About, allowing access to your child's daily activities, naps, videos, and much more! I highly recommend this preschool.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Justine, the director. She has unwavering dedication to ensuring the wellbeing of not only my children but also myself as a parent - checking in with me whenever we cross paths. Justine is very responsive and always takes any concerns I have raised seriously and follows up quickly.

Justine consistently goes above and beyond to make the daycare a place where both children and parents feel comfortable and valued. Additionally, she does so much work coordinating various Holiday parties or programs and Parent’s Day Out events that have really made our family’s daycare experience enjoyable with fond memories to look back on!

My daughter spent close to 2.5 years here. We have had no complaints from her. Food provided healthy food and have good vegetarian alternatives too. Clean classrooms and kitchennette. Each class that my child attended ( preschool 1 to pre-k 2) have always had at least one experienced teacher who has been associated with the school for at least 3-4 yrs. The director Miss Matty is nice , approachable and always greets you with a smile. Overall happy and satisfied !

All I have to say is the La Petite Academy has made a great improvement on my son. I have had a hard time finding a place for my son where he can be happy and finally I found it. I highly recommend La Petite as a mother we want to feel at ease when we are at work. The lovely office staff and teachers are excellent. They take the time with every child teaching them a great early start.

My son loves the place and has got so attached to his teachers. They are very patient and helped him adjust well in the new environment considering that we came from a different country. The director Matty is equally friendly and helped us take a decision of choosing the right group for him and we are so glad that we followed her advice. We shall always recommend La Petite to other parents.

My daughter has been going to La Petite for almost two years and has really done well with the all teachers, especially Ms. Susanna. My daughter who is in the 3yr old group always brings fun artwork that incorporates learning. I have also noticed that my daughter's manners have improved as well as her communication skills.

I have a seven year special need son and a three year old daughter go to La Petite every day. I really appreciate the director and the teachers totally accept my special need son, and would like to help and teach him in daily life skills. With their patience and loving hearts, My son made a very good progress during these years staying in La Petite. I would definately recommand La Petite to others.

My child went here as a toddler, and she started having tears in her eyes the first time I dropped her off. That changed after a while, and this school helped her with manners and other daily activities that she does in 5th grade, the grade she is in now.

Our son attended La Petite in Redmond for a few months. Generally speaking we felt as though he was safe and moderately engaged with learning and development activities (teacher dependent).

Overall our experience was frustrating and I would say that this facility is mismanaged. Operating hours were reduced by 30-60min daily with no refund or tuition credit. On the afternoon of Friday sep-2 we received a text telling us his class would be closed on Monday for 4 weeks! Better care and attention (and likely wages) should be paid to the employees that make this service possible. This is an unreliable facility that provides a mediocre service at a premium. Lunch and snacks are served on styrofoam. I am of the opinion that net income takes precedence over quality service.

Ms. Rhiannon and the chef are absolutely wonderful and do a superb job. Tip of the hat to you both.

The school is very conveniently located and has good outdoor area for kids to play.
However, we did not have good experience at this school.
Some teachers in the school seemed uncaring and rude to the kids. I noticed that classrooms felt chaotic and unorganized with kids wondering around not knowing what to do. Several times I have seen electronics (tablets) and sometimes TV being used to keep kids busy. Home foods are not allowed, but quality of the food provided at the school was not satisfactory.
My kids used to like going to their previous preschool and liked their teachers before we moved to the area and enrolled them in La petite. They developed phobia about going to this school and their teachers. Academically they did not seem to learn anything. I ended up withdrawing them and put in a different school with much longer commute, but kids seem to be happy and learning things.

My daughter went here in the Redmond branch for a year and couple months. Overall we had a good experience. But it was completely ruined by the director there Matty Ryder. She is unprofessional and super super FAKE. She will smile at you every single day. But if something happens, she doesn’t side with her clients ever! Even if the teacher is wrong. She will keep mumb. And just side with her teacher.
Suzanna, briana, laurel, Stevie- all teachers are amazing. They have always looked after my child very well. We ve had our ups and downs there. But the director really spoilt the whole experience for us. She will lie through her teeth when giving the tour! She told us home food is allowed as long as it’s healthy and doesn’t appeal to other children. And when we sent home good for a month( suggested by the doctor, as my child had lost a little weight).
She put it as if she is doing us a favor by allowing food from home.
At the tour please don’t be deceived by the curriculum, as it’s purely a daycare. Don’t expect your child to learn a lot( average basic only). If your looking for a strong curriculum then enroll somewhere else! Definitely not here.

The food served is severely UNHEALTHY. Pizza, cornbread, quesadillas, burritos, CANNED Fruits almost 4 days a week out off 5. Only some days the have soup. One day when I said why the food is so unhealthy, I got the lamest answer saying cheese has protein!
Seriously? Would anyone give their children this kind of food at home everyday???
The cleanliness factor is bad. The classes are stuffy and decor is really bad and old.
The stuffed animals and toys look like they have been gotten from a bad thrift store!!! Very bad toys. No educational speciality toys!

I don’t recommend this place if your looking for academics. Although some teachers who are constants are very nice.

We would have prolly stuck around more if the academics were stronger.

Do. not. send. your. kids. here.
The management of this school is awful. They treat the teachers like slaves. They keep disrupting the flow of the school whenever it starts improving by firing the Director and Assistant directors of the school - cold turkey same day and laugh at them. The lady that was in charge of our director made the teachers here cry, and even fired a teacher and just laughed at her when she asked for her PTO to be paid out. They transferred that women to St Louis instead of firing her. My daughter has been at this school since the infant room, and we have seen 5 directors in those 2 years we have been coming here. Now they replaced the Director that was ACTUALLY running the daycare smoothly, with a person who over-booked the Lynnwood location with more kids then the teachers could legally care for. I want HR to contact me.
-- edit -- things at this location might change but this is our current situation in March 2024

What a disaster this place is.. I just wanted to tour the facility for enrolling my upcoming infant. They called me 3-4 times to confirm the appointment and when I went there was no one to give me tour. So I rescheduled and the same thing happened again. A teacher let us in and said that infant is closed… so we asked why were we scheduled and she just shrugged. If that’s their attitude with potential customers, I don’t even know how they treat existing parents and kids…

My child attended this school for about 3.5 years and it used to be ok. But has quickly changed to Poor management, lack of compassion, very rude and unwelcoming, feels like chaos all the time. Highly suggest not send your child here and if you do follow your gut and check on the camera as often as you can.
