When I tell you this little hidden gem is a place to visit. I saw this location on Tik Tok and decided to give them a try seeing that they’re black owned. And when I say this place owe me nothing. The food was well season and hot my baked chicken just fell off the bone. The portion serving is worth the money. The atmosphere was relaxing and they were playing our old school music that was a plus ❤ I felt right at home. When I say the service was professional and they were very very friendly. The restaurant is very clean which to me was another plus. My husband and I have now marked this place as one of our favorite spot we do plan to visit again and share them with our friends and family. I wish I could more than 5 stars. Trust when I say you will not be disappointed.

Let me tell yall something. I really didnt want to do this review simply because I'm selfish when it comes to good eatin! This isn't just a hidden gem this is a secret location for people to eat like there is no tomorrow. The staff is the greatest! The food is hot delicious and abundant. My wife and I ate leftovers til Tuesday! I was a bit upset I couldn't finish in one sitting! Try it all and you will not be disappointed!

This soul food really hit the spot!! I got smothered chicken with potatoes, mac n cheese, candied yams and corn bread…all for $9. Everything was really yummy, I finished all but the bones. It’s also very filling! I will definitely visit again to try other items.

There is an inside dining area which is currently open and a few seats outside as well.

Ok. Hear this. If you want to discover one of the best kept community secrets in Riverdale, then this is the place for you to try. This restaurant is tucked away . You may need Google or call ahead to place your order and simply ask for directions. Generally, my husband and I would share a plate when we try a place for the first time. Not this time. Everything looked so fresh and delicious, We were enticed to get separate plates. This is Soul Food yall. We received so much food. The plates were so heavy in the bag when we walked out the door. OMG . We had two extra plates leftover after we pigged out. Lord have mercy. Did I mention they cater. Oh, THANKSGIVING right around the corner. This meal was delicious! I had collard green yams, dressing, Mac and cheese and bake turkey wing. I will recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good soul food dinner. First time eating here on yesterday June 2. My friend said you get a lot for your money and the food is really good. When we pulled up there I was little skeptical...Didn't look like much from the outside, but when I got my food it was sooo good, seasoned well but not much and was so much it made two meals. I ordered the turkey wing with dressing and cranberry sauce and for my sides I got green beans and yams, and a corn bread, all for $6.50. The employees were nice and friendly. Do not miss out on this little treasure. There is not a huge selection but enough to get some good choices. Its best to do take out because there are only two small tables if you try to eat there.

The fried chicken, Mac n cheese, collards, black eyed peas are all fire! So good! We will definitely be back! Family business and everyone pitches in!

First time going on Sunday 11/12 and the food was soooo good. Brought me back to the country. My cousin had the baked spaghetti with collards and yams and I had the bbq chicken (dark) with mac, collards and yams. Everything was hot and seasoned to
Perfection. Best kept secret on the southside!

Food tastes really really good all for $6 what a deal this place is tucked away in the back one of those cool spots that you may think it may not have no good food. BUT it really do HAVE delicious flavors THAT matches JUST LIKE GRANDMA'S COOKIN TASTE SO SO good.. I LOV coming here...

The food here is good. Mine was a takeout order bought for me pork chop w/ gravy white rice w/gravy, mac&cheese plus cabbage. The price is reasonable and a lot of food in that container. Next time I want to eat in.

When I tell you this food so dang gone good!!! I felt like I was eating one of my grandma’s Sundays dinner plates!!!!! I will be back SOON!!!!! 😋

I found this is a little gem, of a restaurant tucked away off Highway 85 in Riverdale. Where the soul food is seasoned very well, almost like it was cook at grandma's house. The food was obviously hot and very delicious and oh the young lady behind the counter who served me was fantastic. Oh ! i will be a repeat customer.

Ive been saying I wanted comfort food. This. Is. It. Im on the road a lot so I eat at a lot of different places.
Do not let the location fool you.
This is by far one of the heavier plates Ive received (weight wise) and for less than $15 its well worth it.

I live almost an hour away from this restaurant. Let’s just say it was worth the drive. The ladies were very sweet to my wife and I. I’m from New Orleans so I’m very picky with food in Georgia. The bbq sauce made my eye twitch like Keith Lee 😂 it was delicious. I had the ribs and the bbq chicken. I would say the chicken needs to cook just a little longer as it was too tough. The ribs fell off the bone. Pinto beans and the wild rice went well together. I didn’t need to add seasoning. I’ll give them definitely a 8 out of 10.

I had steak, corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread and cake. Let me just tell y'all I'm full as a tick!! Green beans were just a tad bit too salty but I just mixed it with the potatoes and it evened right on out. I will definitely be going back. Thanks!!! This all I had left.

This was my first time eating here and I gotta say that it was hands down the best soul food restaurant that I have ever eaten at! I loved everything on my plate. I would highly recommend this place and I will continue to patronize it in the future.
