Hampton Inn Atlanta-North Druid Hills

I tried to book a room block here. Mid-priced hotels in the Emory and Decatur areas are out there, but reaching out and getting a block can take some doing. The Hampton Inn's team offered contracts that were similar to or more generous than the industry standard. The location also allows guests to get to a lot of Atlanta destinations with a reasonable drive without rates that go as high as a lot of the midtown and downtown hotels. Ultimately, our wedding did not quite fit a room block, but the folks at Hampton Inn were nice and helpful.

We were only there one night and everything was good. Fast, friendly check-in, spacious room (loved the separate sitting area from the bedroom) and good, convenient location.

My wife and I were heading home to Canada after vacationing in Florida. Got hit on the I75 North. Gwen at this hotel is perfection when it comes to customer service. She went over the top to assist us in every way. We need more people like Gwen in the world. You are a blessing.

Thanks again for everything. You have no Idea how comfortable you made us feel.

Well, yes, I liked it, even though they didn't give me much information or details about the breakfast, I had to ask. It's a nice atmosphere, a good breakfast. 10 points, I recommend it.

My stay here was perfectly fine! It's nothing fancy or upscale, but the bed was comfy, the room size was reasonable and everything felt clean. Parking was free and simple and the breakfast was an unexpected bonus. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I stay in this area often and it was a WAY better experience than other hotels nearby (like across the street). For the price, this place provides a ton of value! I certainly recommend it and would consider staying here again.

The employees was great. They were courtesy and professional. The service was great. The room was horrible! The tub was dripping the door on the bathroom was coming off the room smelled like mold. They need to get rid of the carpet in the entire building. And they need to hire more people.

This was our first stay at this location. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us, were helpful, always smiling, and thus we will be returning.

I stayed here and it was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, so much so that as soon as I laid down, it was lights out. Because of Covid, they went serving breakfast but James, the property manager was so inviting and accommodating, he offered a take away breakfast bag with yogurt and a bagel with cream cheese. He was awesome!!! So polite and professional! You don't see this kind of hospitality very much any more. So, thank you James!!!! I hope we get to comeback and stay again real soon!!!!

We came here at 10pm looking for a room since the hotel we tried staying at cancelled our booking. The manager at this hotel was very friendly and helped us get a room here. He was understanding and gave us a little discount since it was so late and we needed somewhere to sleep. The room had a king bed and was spacious. It was very clean and quiet here. The breakfast was delicious and the area to eat was relaxing. Overall a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back here!

We got a warm welcome when we arrive. Our room was nice and clean. Breakfast was the usual if you ever stayed at Hampton. There is a security guard placed every night to let those coming back late. No problem occurred during our visit.

I loved staying here and the area. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I really did have much interaction with the staff because we were able to check in.and out from our cell. I appreciated the security they had in the parking lot and I honestly think we had more contact with him than anyone else. He was professional and friendly . I was on the 3rd floor and I needed a pop from the vending machine to help settle my stomach and I think it was the ginger ale that was sold out. I started to just go to the next floor and see if that machine had them. But decided to just go and ask the front desk if she knew. The wonderful woman at the desk apologized, offered me a coke and a tablet for upset stomach from the first aide kit. So wonderful and I was so grateful. The hot breakfast was really good; a wide variety of breakfast foods along with 3 kinds of ( it looked like) fresh squeezed juice. I definitely recommend here. Not to far from the mall and a CVS right next door.

I had the best stay, 19 to 25 July 2021 the hotel was clean and staff was the best. Becky, Natalie, Kenya, Lydia, Christy & Chaz all were very Professional, nice and helpful. Great staff and work together well. We were leaving at 430am and it was dark outside and the security guard asked to walk me to my car. I will defiantly stay here again. Thank you all so much for making my staff awesome.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good as well.. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing negative we found was the pool was closed due to mechanical problems or something. Over all we were very pleased.

We stayed here on August 14th, 2016 and the staff were wonderful. From the night we arrived, until the morning we left we were treated with excellent customer service. Each staff member greeted us and the room was comfortable, clean and included quality accessories that made us feel refreshed. Fluffy towels, clean blanket covers, high quality soaps, etc. Also, there is a compilation of menus provided that include delivery. Excellent night at this hotel. This will be our official Atlanta location.

I would not usually post a review for Hampton Inn. The rooms are not fancy, and normally such hotels are adequate, not noteworthy. But I must give this specific Hampton Inn a huge shout out due to the tremendous staff, especially A.C and Justina. I brought a group of 20 college students with me for a trial competition, and we camped out in the lobby. The staff was not only tolerant of all our practicing, they were phenomenally friendly and helpful. They gave us fresh cookies and water late at night and made sure we had a filling breakfast to start the day. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping is great! A.C. and Justina- THANK YOU so much for making a 3 star hotel a 5 star experience for me and my team. You rock!!!

Found myself staying here at my aunt was in the hospital at Emory. I travel quite a lot and out of all the places I’ve gone this is some of the nicest staff members I’ve EVER encountered. Raven checked us in and was just so sweet and talkative. I ran into A.C. on my floor and she walked me down to breakfast and we had a great conversation and she was talking to all the guests at breakfast. She was so welcoming and just one of those people you can talk to. The woman running breakfast was amazing as well. The hotel was nice, clean, and my room was perfect. I could not speak more highly of the staff.

This hotel was really nice. The room was just a basic room with standard bed/desk/microwave and mini fridge but it was tastefully decorated and the linens were plush and comfortably. The bathroom toiletries were Neutrogena and included a shower cap and makeup remover wipes. There was always lemonade and ice water and coffee in the lobby and the staff was very nice especially the cleaning staff. The pool was small but nice and I was surprised nobody was ever out there (i didn’t bring my suit so i didn’t swim). The area is nice lots of things to do and places to eat and right off the highway. Not a ton of people hanging in the streets or anything like that. I mostly liked that it was quiet. Maybe because i was on the end in the corner but i never heard anyone else when in my room, not even their t.v. Breakfast was good as well. Cold and hot cereal, fruit, juice and milk, yogurt, waffles, sausage eggs and sausage gravy and biscuits. I will stay here again.

Awesome staff, lady checking people in was having a tough day with booking issues but stayed smiling the whole time. Even stayed 4 hrs past her shift working through them. And still greeted me with a big ole' grin.

Very nice place. Calm and quiet. Free parking is always available. A nice breakfast buffet is offered from 6-9 am. The room was pretty good. Overall experience was very good for the price and it's close to the favorite attractions in downtown Atlanta. :)

Excellent service even before I arrived. They called me to save my room way after checkin time. I was very thankful because hotel was completely full. Wonderful service from Timothy at the front desk! He has a very happy spirit and is always making you laugh. Extra helpful with all of my questions and needs! Great free breakfast and timely housekeeping as well! Just great service all around.
