Longhorn Barbecue

My wife and I were quite ill, when we tried this establishment, with the seasonal "creeping crud", so I'll make my best attempt to keep this review as fair as possible, by keeping it short and our misery, out of it! Having said that, when I arrived, the parking lot was devoid of automobiles and the restaurant, completely deserted, save the bored employees stuck there, obviously wishing they didn't have to be! I was immediately, skeptically worried! Not even one customer! As I entered, I could swear, I heard a lonely eagles call, way off in the distance! However, the place had a fabulous aroma!

"Hmmm", a voice said, in my head. "it really smells good, though! Still, this might've been a mistake", the voice said, "Doesn't seem to popular!"

At the counter, I received our order and left, not sure what to expect, when I got home.

To my surprise, the food was even better than it smelled like! "Wow! ", my wife said! "This is really, really good!" "Yeah, you're right, Darling", I exclaimed! I didn't like the coleslaw, because it was very dry, but everything else was as good, or better, than our favorite BBQ restaurant, of some 30 yrs, now! Suddenly, no croud to contend with and the totally individualized attention and service, appeared totally different to me, as I recalled, our favorite bbq restaurant, with around the same level of yummy, was a complete madhouse, everytime we went, in the years we've been patronizing the business there! An absolute whirlwind of staff and customers. I remember thinking, "How do they possibly, keep track of it all?", as customers just yelled out what they wanted and without writing a single thing down till it was all done, someone else, who only wrote it out and collected the money, right before the customers exited the restaurant! Yet they kept it all straight, right down to the tips and who got them, as long as we've been going there.
Now, I don't know if the day I went to this, "new to us place" , was a, "no customers" fluke or if low customer numbers were the "norm", in this place, but I'm certainly gonna find out, because I'm going back there, for sure! Maybe, this review will help to fill the place, so please... Ignore this review, now, okay?

Really, I'm just kidding! Go there, and enjoy yourselves! I hope you think it's as good, as I'm trying to tell you it was for us and we were dog sick at the time we ordered dinner there!

Sliced brisket was delicious. By far the best I’ve had in the area. Sides were good, sauce was ok. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. More of a takeout establishment than dine in. But staff was very friendly and attentive.

I ordered the Maverick, pork ribs and German sausage was delicious! My husband ordered brisket sandwich and it was amazing as well! Best BBQ place, service was great!

We chose the Longhorn for our Super Bowl party and our guests loved the food. They made ordering by phone very easy and provided friendly service. Five stars!

BBQ!!! Wow, it makes you feel guilty reaping the benefits of the time it takes to create the smokey & tender meat. Makes you feel like you're at a family BBQ! The brisket just melts in your mouth, as does the pulled pork, ribs, chicken, house made BBQ sauce, and along with a good selection of sides to accompany your meal. Great customer service. Love looking at all the pictures on the walls as I was waiting for take-out. Should have seen the smile on my little guy's face when he inhaled the smell of BBQ.

TAKE-OUT place now. NO DINE-IN. they do CATERING. We stopped here yesterday for some awesome ribs. They only do take out now.

I like Longhorn. I use them to cater quite a bit and they always do a good job. This latest time the meat was excellent. The buns could have been fresher, but that's just me being picky. Service was great Longhorn always executes.

The staff at this location are very friendly. Services fast and the food is hot and fresh.

The nachos are huge and delicious, the service is wonderful, and the prices are great! Will definitely come back!

Free rib tips for happy hour! Place is closing in a few months. The manager Michael Jordan makes you feel welcome. Also huge bar great for big gatherings.

You known the food is good when you have nothing left to take a pic of because you grubbed down on it so hard! Epic wings, mac salad is legit. Had it delivered via doordash and the order was really well packaged. Will be a regular of this spot!

Don't order through uber eats from here. Food was delicious, service was great. Do not use uber eats.. they blamed the restaurant for not having our delivery ready, they just didnt have any drivers available to deliver. Restaurant was gracious as could be. Ty, Longhorn...

The food here was insanely good. I got the nachos, the street tacos and a steak wrap. They were all so good. The street tacos were authentic tacos, no gringo tacos here.

The last time I went it was So fun when the dueling pianos play. The longhorn girls dance with the songs and are choreographed. The food is decent and the beer is cold. Lots of atmosphere and very fun on a Friday or Saturday night.
The waitstaff is amazing and the bartender is always funny. There is a separation from the main restaurant and bar, and has a kid friendly menu.

We just finished our Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings from Longhorn BBQ take out.
Let me say that we were not disappointed. The turkey was moist and delicious! The garlic roasted red mashed potatoes were amazing! The stuffing was flavorful and fluffy! Delightful salad, fantastic gravy,
There's more to it, but you get the idea.
Everything was done perfectly and ready to eat.
We will be ordering again and again.

Ordered their baby back ribs with 2 sides for takeout. Meat was flavorful and tender. Did not even need to add the sauce that came on the side. This was my 4th visit there. Had plenty of ribs for 2 people with a half rack. Warmed up leftovers for a second meal the next day. Their sides dishes offered are a boring and could use some work in my opinion. Took the ribs home and made a salad as a side. The baked beans were basically canned beans with no add ins.

Ribs were great 👍. The dude with the curly hair and the gal with the wolf hoodie were super nice and friendly. Created a peaceful and welcoming environment.

Friendly staff and whomever is doing the meats behind the scenes is doing it very well and they deserve some praise too. Each time there my sandwiches have had a ton of meat on them. Worth the price and drive there. Also the staff is super friendly and the place always feels welcoming

So, I've worked in the food business for nearly 20 years and I've tried food from all over, but I just happened to stop by this barbecue place because it was nearby and it is amazing.
If you haven't been here before, you should definitely try it. Everything tastes so fresh, and homemade/made from scratch. The brisket was so juicy and melts in your mouth. The chicken was seasoned so perfectly, and with a tender inside. The ribs were fall off the bone amazing and full of flavor.
They also have their own barbecue sauce that was on point.
Beyond that, the customer service was friendly, like talking with family. They take such good care of you.
Definitely a must experience!

Second time we've had you guys cater a family get together. The first time was awesome and this time was even more awesomer. Brisket was moist and pull apart tender. Everything was wrapped and ready to go when I arrived. Sent leftovers home with guests and still have leftovers. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything.
