July 9, 23: Love my church! Young and old alike. Thank you for being a community institution. You've been a home for me. We have a tremendous viable treasure in Atlanta. We have a responsibility to care for this treasure. Come and worship.

Men's Day. Men do worship and attend church. Come out and worship with us. Hear the Good News. Listen to both new and old hymns. Raise your have and praise. Dress up or come as you are. All are welcomed.

Absolutely gorgeous church and immaculately maintained. The members were so pleasant and congenial. My Niece's husband passed and I attended his Memorial service. The hammond organist was outstanding and the incredible remarks were uplifting. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Friendship Baptist Church is one of the leading churches in Atlanta. Many strong ties to the community and the Atlanta University Center. If you have not had the opportunity to worship with them to see their new edifice, please take the time!!! Great Pastor...Wonderful Members...A Beacon of Hope in the Community!!!

Members of the congregation were welcoming. I had been invited by a colleague to attend her investiture as chair of the newly formed disability committee. (I am almost deaf.) The women sitting on either side of me helped me with the words of the
hymns and prayers. The choir and
the music were uplifting and through
the evening I thought about the sermon.
Aftet the service the pastor took time to have what became an invigorating talk with me.(I haf served on President Obama's 9-member
disability policy group, the National
Council on Disability.)
As an afterthought I share that I was the only white parishioner at the service.

Congratulations Friendship Family on your 158th Anniversary!! (April 26th 2020). You have been a beacon of light in the neighboring community and in our lives. Currently, you have kept us "connected" in the Word of God during this time of physical "disconnect". May God continue to richly bless our church/family and the leader of our flock, Rev. Richard Wills, Mrs. Shelia Wills and their beautiful children. And we thank God also for the ever present Rev William V. and Mrs. Florine Guy.

To say that it has been a pleasure would be an understatement for our family (Gregory and Keyanna), to have shared close to two decades with this beautiful church - and it is our prayer that God continues to bless us all especially throughout these trying times.

Friendship Baptist has a 100 year old plus history in the city of Atl. I attended a recent BeltLine Quarterly meeting in the New Church, which maintains its old world feel with a new look.

My kids (16 & 17) felt very comfortable and love their service.

Wonderful Church

They really need to get back to Jesus and really ask him if the racist path they are going town is really the christian way. To allow Hank Johnson to stand behind the pulpit and spew his hatred goes against any word of the bible

1 Timothy 2:1-6
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for ALL PEOPLE , for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires ALL PEOPLE to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
