Urban Coffee Lounge is my absolute favorite local coffee shop. The coffee drinks are unique and the ingredients they use in their drinks are high quality. The pastries and other food the sell is locally sourced and incredibly delicious. Additionally, they serve beer and wine beverages, making it a great low-key place to meet up for drinks, without having to deal with the annoyances of a bar. They always seem to be bustling, so I sometimes order ahead via the Joe app. When the weather is nice, I bring my kids and we sit in the outdoor seating area- there’s plenty of people and dog watching to be had and a nearby fountain that the kids enjoy.

This is one of the few walkable coffee shops in the area so I’ve frequented urban COFFEE lounge for years at this point. The staff are always friendly, even when there are lines your order makes it out quickly, and they’ve got some pretty solid food and drink options. Their honey cinnamon latte is a go-to for me, as well as the omelettes, but really all the food I’ve had so far has seemed to be of high quality. While they don’t make the food themselves, they have them provided from some pretty well known local businesses. The only downside is that the parking is shared with a series of apartment complexes so it can be limited depending on when you come.

As someone who’s been to many cafes, this is my favorite coffee spot! The cafe itself has such a cozy vibe, it’s perfect for studying/work or even for a date. They also have outdoor seating which is really nice for sunny days. They have seasonal flavors so I love coming every month to try. So far, every single seasonal flavor has been delicious.

The truffle mocha is such a rich and smooth flavor, probably the best mocha I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s a coffee lover to try it! They also have solid food options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

Nice place to hangout and have a decent coffee. They sell counter culture coffee beans as well. We ordered latte and an americano and liked both. Tried mushroom onion croissant and it was delicious!

Great coffe, great food! The drip coffee is smooth and delicious. If you get it in house you get a free refill which is perfect. Their breakfast sandwich were pretty good too!

My favourite coffee shop in the area. The staff are wonderful, really nice and welcoming and take the time to get to know their customers.
Great Lattes, great pastries, and my dogs say they have the best pup-cups around too!!

It can get a bit crowded (it’s rightfully very popular). Despite that, it’s rarely slow, and they have great outdoor seating that’s heated in the winter.

great coffee and super cool location, there are plenty of restaurants around and nice walk to a waterfront. Great place to treat yourself after visiting Alder Creek Dental just around the corner. Not too busy in afternoon and still enough spots to to park your horse.

Have been going here for 10+ years and UCL's coffee is superb. I am not a fan of SBux or any of those other chain coffee shops as their coffee tastes mediocre. UCL's coffee is a creamy, strong flavor that's served at the perfect temperature (and always looks so pretty - the photos are from my visits throughout the years). An absolute bonus is they serve their coffee's in a mug - so few places do - and it's just like being at home. UCL's food, staff and location are all great. The only downside is the parking and the fact that it can be really crowded at times. But hey, it just goes with the territory of being a great place to grab a good coffee so patience is a virtue and it's worth the wait :)

We were supposed to go to another place down the street but they were closed and I am so happy we ended up here. The staff was super friendly and the drinks were AMAZING. We are from Arizona visiting for a Seahawks game and no one does lattes like this where we’re from lol. The drinks are amazing and the latte art was incredible. We had the pumpkin pie latte and I think my boyfriend got some sort of maple fall drink so delish. We also got scrumptious pastries. The cheddar bacon croissant and the Marionberry biscuit! Next time we come to seattle we are making a special stop in Kirkland just for this place!

Great coffee! Had a cappuccino with soy milk and it was awesome. Also had a gluten free vegan chocolate cookie that was very good.

Cozy coffee shop w/ lots of tasty treats and great selection of coffee / tea . Love that they have gluten-free as well as alternative dairy options
Busy at times , parking is a little tricky , but there is more parking located across the street . Recommendations: getting marionberry biscuit and chai tea latte w/ almond milk .

Really good Cappuccino and Chai Tea Latte. The ambience of the place is very nice to hang out while you sip coffee and taste their baked goods! It’s also a cute place to sit and work out of.

Stopped by with a group of 6. Kids had a great time and all enjoyed their drinks. Definitely coming back when in town. I ordered a Salted Maple Latte and it was delicious. I also like that they have a comfy lounge.

Super friendly baristas! The best chai tea latte I’ve ever tried. The spinach feta quiche was out of the world! Ample free street parking was available right by this place on a weekday evening. I highly recommend this place! Kudos to the team!

Nice place in Juanita village, pretty close to the water.

Parking can sometimes be tough depending on what time of day it is and how busy the area is. This location is next to a busy yoga studio.

The inside is trendy and industrial with lots of different spaces for you to sit and work, socialize, etc. There are quite a few tables outside that I can imagine are really lovely during the nicer months!

The pastry case has a small assortment of selections along with another case that offers sandwiches, breakfast burritos and such. I didn't order anything to eat but everything looked good!

I ordered the vanilla latte off the menu. The vanilla was the perfect authentic flavor, not too sweet. My barista was really friendly. It's nice to have your coffee handed to you or your credit card swiped by someone with a smile! :)

I don't live around Kirkland, but I would choose this establishment to fulfill my caffeine needs if I was in the area again!

This place has hemp milk! For someone lactose intolerant like myself, this is huge! Hemp milk is the closest thing to real milk in a latte, in my honest opinion. I order the honey cinnamon latte with hemp milk. It is the best drink on earth and I mean that whole heartily. Im not even a daily drink coffee drinker. Ever since I started coming here, I joined their frequent fliers club membership because I have been consistently coming here 2 plus times a day for the past week while I’ve been visit here in Washington because the coffee is that good! That says a lot about the quality of the drinks and the friendly staff that serves them. I usually never spend the time to write these but I’d like to see the local coffee company strive so I can continue to get great coffee while visiting!

Great espresso. lavender cheese cake and pistachio croissant were yummy.
