Comfort Suites Port Allen - Baton Rouge

I highly recommend this hotel, it’s a safe environment and hotel. The staff is all very welcoming and polite. Rooms were very clean and cost is reasonable. I have stayed at this hotel several times and every stay is the same, clean and safe!!

Old reviews had us worried but they must have fixed all issues because we had a perfectly acceptable experience. New AC, small clean bathroom, old but clean carpets, small clean gym with bike, treadmill, and lat pulldown. Would stay here again.

We are currently staying in room 211. I came to see my husband while he's working in Baton Rouge. The room is spotless, there is no bad smell or bedbugs like I read in other reviews. I was skeptical about staying here due to the reviews, but so far we haven't had a single issue with the room, housekeeping or anyone else that worked here. The AC is ice cold. The pool is open. Breakfast is minimal, coffee, juice, yogurt, mini microwavable sausage biscuits, apples, mini muffins, and some kind of microwavable egg and cheese quesadilla. I can't speak for the other rooms but I would definitely come back and stay in this room.

The hotel was staffed with very pleasant people and the room was clean, spacious, and reasonably priced. The only downside was that the shower rod was loose, so the curtain didn't prevent the water from spilling out near the sides. The continental breakfast was spectacular. Make your own fresh waffles!

Stayed 1 night. Motel room was immaculate - looked newly furnished and repainted. Bathroom excellent - bed great. Didn't use breakfast. Only fast food in immediate area - try the "Walk-on's Sports Bistreaux" a little drive south -great food.

I have been in a few hotels because of my job and I will say the comfort suites I have been in are rather nice. I have been here for a week now and I have a couple more weeks to go. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and if you have a complaint they fix it right away.( I had a very noisy guest above me one night and they fixed it right then and there) So if you have a problem with this hotel just tell them they will be happy to fix it to make your stay more enjoyable. This one does need to be updated. (I already told them).

Slight mixup on reservation but front desk clerk handled me very well considering my attitude was far from friendly when I found out. The problem was not her fault and her demeanor kept everything from becoming much worse. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give a personal pat on the back in this review.

LOVELY room. I did not expect such a nice, room for the price. It was very clean, newly appointed and felt safe... as opposed to the hotels down the road. I highly recommend if you're in the area. There is a little restaurant called City Cafe (I believe) about 5 minutes away that has great food!

We stay here once a year on our annual trip to Texas to visit family during Christmas. Each time we have stayed the room was clean and the front desk staff helpful. The lady who runs the breakfast takes obvious pride in her work. Although the free full and hot breakfast is not fancy, the area is clean, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The odd occasion where something is running low, it is provided promptly.

The little Christmas festival that is always going on next door about that time (weekend before Christmas) is a fun surprise for the kids. We have gone on horse drawn wagon rides, carnival rides and toured the Christmas light path.

Excellent friendly staff, clean rooms, bed are extremely comfortable and you are definitely getting more for your dollar. Near plenty to do. Baton Rouge to the North and Lafayette to the south with many exciting place in between.

I'll keep this short and sweet. The comfort suites chain is my new favorite place to stay while traveling. Rooms are large and clean and the staff is always nice. The price is much better than Hilton or holiday inn

Clean and comfortable. I’m a truck driver and a stayed here to have some rest after a long driving shift. Good breakfast.

Room smelled like mildew and other built up bacteria when the room is humid and lower than room temperature. Otherwise, the bed was clean and bathroom was nice. Just a weird smell all around

The room was clean, hot water was hot. The desk staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Had a good local recommendations for dinner.

Great Room! Was Nice, Neat, And Clean! Didnt Find not one problem here. I Was on the 1st floor and I would come stay here again if needed. Dont pass up on this place.
