I’ve been taking my Hyundai to TLS Motorworks for the last couple of years. My experience with Pete & Chris has been great each & every time. They’re effective, communicative & knowledgeable.

Their comprehensive system makes it easy to understand any need repairs as well as the level of urgency/timing for certain services. I feel comfortable when I bring my car to TLS as I know it is a very transparent & honest operation with a considerate team. Highly recommended!

Their attention to detail was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend them for a repair job. Took care of my Celica, all at a fair price. Thanks to everyone at TLS Motorworks.

I have been working with TLS Motorworks for almost 2 years and they have been nothing but a blessing. my dad bought me my first car an 07 corolla and within a month of me buying it the transmission fell apart. my mom by chance stumbled upon this shop and they repaired it to get it running again and i have never had a problem since. Ever since that day I have never looked back and I am so grateful for the work that TLS does. they are honest hard working people i know that my money is going back into the wonderful mechanics and the business, and of course its amazing work! Pete and Chris at TLS Motorworks are awesome guys who provide clear answers and present options. I took my Acura TSX to the dealership nearby and was just not happy with their report, their attitude, and their tactics. I proceeded to spend the next two weeks looking for the "right" company to address the issues with car.
Both gentlemen were upfront, I had no issues getting the work done there. Saved thousands from the first report from the dealership. I know that that's what dealership services departments are supposed to do, but not to that extent.
Nevertheless, I have a map of services to keep the car running tip top and the timeline without any hard sales pressure. In addition, the guys provided alternatives to bridge some of the bigger ticket items.
I would recommend TLS Motorworks and I trust that you'll find that these guys are straight-shooters.

Pete and Chris are standup, honest guys who operate a top notch shop. They have incredible mechanics, are organized, transparent, and upfront about their services. They did some work on my '04 4Runner and I couldn't be more please. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. Keep up the great work!

I have been using TLS pretty much since they opened, and Kenny was my mechanic at his previous business. I have always felt like they have been fair and giving me honest evaluations, never pressuring me to do a repair that isn’t necessary at that time, but giving me honest feedback about when it’s urgent or how long I’m able to safely put it off, if I am trying to budget for the repair. My most recent repair I paid in full with cash, and they gave me a discount as there were no credit card transaction fees, fixed the belly pan that my oil change place had left unsecured, and even returned my car to me washed as a surprise at no additional charge. They’ve even helped me out with rides since I don’t live far, which is a huge help since I live alone. I joke that I am always going to drive a Toyota or Lexus so I can keep my mechanic (but they can repair any car except a German one that needs different tools). I definitely recommend TLS if you are in need of a mechanic!

Technical Expertise & Outstanding Service
Chris and the rest of the team at TLS Motoroworks have been inspecting and repairing our Priuses for almost two years now, and I decided to wait before writing a review until I could see the results of their findings and work. They conducted full inspections for our two most recent vehicles (a 2008 Prius & 2013 Prius V) before we bought them. In the inspection for the Prius V, they warned us of some danger signs and said that they could not give it the green light, but we bought the vehicle anyway, due to the stiff competition in the used Prius market at that time. Sure enough, we eventually did have to do a major repair on that Prius, and Chris put in several hours of research to try to limit part costs for us.

We are grateful to Kenny & Robbie for being such knowledgeable hybrid mechanics. The first time I tried to make an appointment at TLS, the person who answered the phone told me that they did not have any availability for a few days because a couple of their mechanics were at a hybrid vehicle repair training event. I could have probably written a 5 star review just based on that, but the folks at TLS Motorworks have repeatedly proven themselves to be top-notch.

And no, they did not pay me to write this review. For me, owning a reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle and having it repaired by experts is a type of risk management, as it limits my exposure to vehicle expenses. Plus, they are just very nice folks and so I told them I'd write a great review, which is also an accurate review.

TLS took great care of my Mazda - they were very honest, efficient, and friendly. Chris and the rest of the team identified the problem areas and let me know which repairs were necessary and which could be done later down the road.

As a woman, many car repair shops try to take advantage of you, but everyone at TLS was honest, upfront, and made me feel very comfortable. They provided a lot of visibility into all the repairs and charged a fair price. Even threw in a car wash at the end! 100% recommend TLS.

Excellent service!! They take pictures of your cars issues and provide detailed descriptions so you know exactly what is in need of repair and the current condition!

Recently got my low mileage Nisan Frontier serviced here. Everyone was so easy a s customer service was awesome. On top of being super professional and obvious experts definite 5 stars.

Mr. Chris was such a pleasant person to work with. My 2019 Hyundai Sonata was broken into and I had been calling all around the city but no one was taking these particular brand cars. I stumbled across TLS on google and the reviews was absolutely correct. They gave stellar customer service. Mr. Chris kept me informed throughout the whole process even when I was having issues with my insurance company. If I could offer them 100 stars I would. We took our 2011 Hyundai to TLS Motorworks for the first time recently because it just came out of warranty, and we'll definitely be back.

Everyone we dealt with there was fantastic. We always got the sense that they were being straight with us. The software that they're using which itemized each thing they found, provided an explanation of the reason for the work and its criticality, and clear pricing for each was great. We used the chat feature to work through the pros and cons and ensure a few things are looked at that weren't initially on their radar. They didn't push us to fix anything that wasn't necessary and also told us that we could deal with some issues at a later date and that it would cost the same later than it would when they dealt with everything else right now.

They did the work in a professional manner and reasonably quickly, all things considered. By the time everything was over, they addressed more concerns in a better way than the dealership would have and for less.

We hope it will be a long time before we need more work, but when we do we're definitely taking our car back here.

I was looking for an honest, reliable person to work on my Infiniti G35 and was referred to TLS Motorworks. Chris diagnosed the problem and, since it is a 20-year-old car, found a few issues. A couple of them were safely related, which he recommended that I get fixed. The other, more expensive issues were ones he did not recommend that I spend money on, since it is an older car. I got the safety related issues fixed and I appreciated his honesty in advising me not to spend money on other, higher cost issues. He recommended that a better investment would be to put that money on a newer car instead. He also advised me as to which types of cars would fit my needs, offered to give me his opinions on a car when I found one I liked and also do a complete check of the car before I bought it.

Chris provides great customer service, has very reasonable prices, looks out for his customers' interests and is honest and reliable with no high pressure tactics. I would highly recommend TLS Motorworks. I think they work on most cars.

I got a lot of work done on my 2007 Accord, Kenny and Chris, and all the staff I spoke with were very kind with me. They even suggested what I should wait on so I could save some money. When I told them my windshield wipers were still are making a noise, they said I could swing by and they make sure they adjusted them right. I really appreciate their great customer service and support.

Wanted to give an independent shop a new try and ended up doing $4000 of repairs on my Honda CR-V with TLS. I had quoted with Honda dealer and not only was dealer more pricey but they quoted a non-damaged repair.

TLS properly diagnosed and repaired exactly what was wrong.

I definitely will bring future service here. Communication was good. Repair was correct. Pricing not the cheapest but not the most expensive...more or less in-line with independent shops but cheaper than dealer. Furthermore they didn't nickel & dime on unnecessary repairs.

Support a local business that prides itself on work with engaged owners.

I didn't feel pushy on charges and let me decide what to repair. I also asked for some advice on models of cars they recommend for least repairs as my next replacement. (never hurts to ask shop for their experience).

He also gave some advice on must-do repairs and other repairs that can be delayed so that was good to discuss as well.

If new definitely give them a chance as I did.

I do hope service, and quality, continues to excel over the coming years since auto owners need more businesses like this.

Repairs were:
-Rear Struts and bearings
-Intake valve (corroded)
-Starter (very finicky that took a few days to reproduce issue)
-Alignment
-Fuel induction service (older car needed it)
-Diagnostic fee (this is a separate line item. Dealers usually include this as a deal but trust me the dealer isn't giving this away for free with all the upcharges)

Chris was extremely helpful with getting my Toyota 4Runner fixed. He was very knowledgeable! I definitely recommend.
