North Boulevard Town Square

Had just spent most of the morning at our State Capitol and decided to drop in to The Roly Poly Sandwich 🥪 Shop to visit with friends!! The downtown area is such a beautiful historical place.

What a great outdoor spot to go to an event at! Benches, space, trees, and just so much. I have only been in the area a few times, but there seems to be something going on most of the time here. It is a great place to stop and walk around. And there are many restaurants, museums, the Cane Center, and other things to see and do while in the area.

What a great place to host a local event that benefits so many. The venue was awesome as it was well planned out by the organizers and sponsors. Born to Run is an event that should touch everyone’s life.
It was a great turn out of runners and walkers who wanted to support this cause. Race route was well thought out as it featured a scenic route. There was plenty of food and water, Gatorade or coffee drink. I will definitely be doing this again next year!!!!

Live after 5 was great! Live music, drinks and food

Baton Rouge is doing a great job by constructing the boulevard. A great place to walk with family. At one side you will find tje old capitol, simply beautiful.

Nice area with beautiful views and lots of local bars. Also you can access the River Center.

One beautiful place, relax, nice and historic

Went to the Downtown Baton Rouge Festival of Lights in the town square. It was really fun and beautiful!

A nice area I'm BR with fountains, greenspace, sitting areas, and a stage. This area is regularly used to host public events such as concerts, parades, and races, where it will be filled with people and vendors. Other times, this area is relatively quiet.

The public library, levee, old state capital, River Center, and Downtown Greenway are all easily accessible from this area. There are also many small businesses and restaurants within walking distance.

Great public space used for festivals and other events. The River Center branch library is there as well as the City-Parish government center, a number of restaurants and a coffee shop. Bring an umbrella or hat when the sun is out as there is little shade most.of the day.

During the evening, it was clear from any crowd. Kids were playing, parents and friends were laughing and having a good time enjoying each other's company.

First time in Louisiana and tonight left no sour notes. Had a few drinks and continued to walk along side the Mississippi River.

Beautiful place. Small, clean and just feels good. Music is piped in and there are tables and chairs under the ancient oaks. Lovely place to have lunch; even prettier in the quiet of the afternoon/evening.

New years in the square was amazing and family fun ...

One of the best places to be when baton rouge has events going on. The have music and festivities all the time. Parades come for almost every holiday. Awesome

This place keeps evolving and getting better and better. Also the main location for Live After Five. A great event, which puts out lots of BR artists, but does tend to completely ignore the Baton Rouge underground music scene.

I'm not a big fan of modern art but I'm glad to see Baton Rouge trying to create a place for our community to come together and enjoy this beautiful city.

Went to Live after 5. Very nice atmosphere. You have custodians on site making sure everything's clean as possible. Alot of portable potties.

Geart place to go for a good TIME. LIVE AFTER 5, AND OTHER FREE MUSIC, ALWAYS HAS GOOD FOOD AND DRINK, ON TOP OF THE FREE LIVE MUSIC, NEVER WENT AND NOT HAD A GREAT TIME.
