Beautiful moderate trails. There are two trails of 1.5 and 3.4 miles. Stunning picturesque location and many spots to click breathtaking snaps. There are two parking spots and they are 1.5 miles apart so be careful of your parking place, (Bettis Tribble Gap Rd & Visitor Center @Spot Rd). There are many spots to sit and there is a viewing deck. Dogs not allowed. A good picnic spot to enjoy with family and friends. Don't forget to watch stunningly beautiful #sunset. Indian Seats have a small beautiful observation deck to watch panoramic view and sunset.

After Stone Mountain, this is one another "must see" place in Atlanta.

After an easy track walking you will reach the top and will enjoy the beautiful panaromic view.

Nice trails in general, you have an inclination, rocky, compact dirt and connected trails so you can pick the distance you want to run that day. 👌

A pretty mild hike leads you to a really outstandingly beautiful lookout point. So many trees along the path to the top that it keeps the temperature down. Shaded trails for sure. Wear some thick soled shoes as you’ll need it like any hike. Highly recommend.

Beautiful trail. Moderate 1.5 mile hike up. Family and kid friendly. I see school age kids on the hike (with their parents of course..duh right) Stunning views anytime of the year. Oh and there are No Dogs allowed on trail (I found out after an hour drive with my dog 😬 so if you're reading this before driving here with your fur baby you're welcome 🙃 )

There's a few great spots to just sit and enjoy the view. Hence the name right. And well theres also a viewing deck if you prefer that.

Lots of nature and birds. Not usually too much of a crowd so it's pretty serene. I'd recommend this as a couple's hike and picnic date. And of course there's a lot of gorgeous photo ops.

Please be mindful, be present and conscious of our Mother Earth. Always leave a place better than you found it.

Great hiking area, close to home. The overlook was just rebuilt and provides a fantastic view. Trails are super clean, but not necessarily marked clearly, so bring your GPS. Best to take the right side first, up to the overlook, because the trail is tougher in the opposite direction.

Very popular spot to hike and still one of my favorites! Takes about 15 minutes to reach the top from Tribble Gap Rd parking lot and more like 30 minutes from Spot Rd Nature Center, which gives you an overview of the vegetation and wildlife to be found in that area, plus the history of the land under Chief Sawnee. Picnic tables are present at both entrances. Great sunset views at the top!

Easy hike with beautiful view! The trails are well marked and easy to walk. The loop also has short cuts if you don't want to walk the entire thing or have to back track. There is a decent incline to get to the Indian Seats but well worth the hike. I recommend visiting!

This is a gorgeous place for a pretty moderate hike. Great for kids to come along too! The hike up to the observation deck took me about 45-1 hour since I would stop along the way to take some photos but obviously you could go faster. Got there around 10 am and left by noon. The trail is safe and beautiful. Kids just need to be kept close at the top.

Easy hike with an expansive view. The trails were littered with free except that they have a trail of fairy dwellings that were broken and ugly and looked like trash!

Great view and a nice Hike up. It is a natural trail so not paved. Also no dogs allowed. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Hands down one of my favorite parks to visit! It’s easy enough for inexperienced hikers or people who don’t hike at all. Stunning view for such an easy hike. My 80 year old Grandad hiked this with us just a few weeks ago!

This place is wonderful.
The hike is friendly but at the same time you can make it challenging depends of your speed.
It took us like one hour to get to the too and we spend like two hours there. Getting to the top was very pace full, the overlook is so beautiful! We were at the top like for two hours enjoying the view.
I love that is not very far from the City.

We love this trail and make it a point to visit at least once a year. A great trail for novice hikers. A steady incline but only about 3 miles and the view is your half way mark! The earlier in the day you go the more peaceful and likely it will be that you can actually enjoy these stone carved seats, once used by the native Americans to scout out danger. Just a short drive out of the city and a great way to spend the day.

Very nice hike. Lots of shade and family friendly. A few rocky areas that may trip up small children, but overall safe if you pay attention. My tracker stated it was 3 miles in and 3 miles out. Really nice facilities with friendly staff.

Good hike close to 4 mile loop I think. Kids did it easily. View form the top is amazing and worth it. Make sure you go to the right trail to go Indian seat trail. Lot of people ending at wrong parking and going to a different trail.
