DICK'S Sporting Goods

The associates I rencountered at this store are a dream! I was unfamiliar with the area as we were in Cummings, GA for a soccer tournament. We forgot a few items, so I went online to buy what we needed. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong store from my phone using the store locator option. Needless to say, the items were NOT there when I arrived to pick up my order. A wonderful associate went above and beyond to help me. He asked a young lady to check storage for one of the items. To my surprise she did without complaint and brought out several options for me to consider. Then, the young man went to the sales floor and found the other items I needed, offered to call the other store to cancel that pick up order all so I wouldn’t have to drive out of my way in an unfamiliar area. I have NEVER received this kind of service at any sporting goods store on my end of town! Unfortunately, I did not get the representatives’ names. However, their kindness, compassion, and above-and-beyond customer care is not forgotten.

Everyone here was very nice yesterday evening. I needed cleats for my son, and I just want to say thank you to the kind gentleman who helped me and the kind lady on the phone. Great service.

Me and my daughter went to look for shoes for foot pain. Jackson was excellent and tried his hardest to help us. He tried numerous pairs of shoes and certain insoles. You could really tell he wanted to help. Overall, great service and good experience.

Incredibly helpful young guy in the baseball section today helped me kit my son out. Made it a great trip to the store, thank you!

Bill was great today in the shoe department. Needed a new pair of work boots that are water proof and made for long hours on my feet. We picked out 6 pairs he got them all within minutes. I can say I always have this experience in DSG but it would be a lie. So happy he was there and I got the help needed.

I had the best experience yesterday with John in the golf department. I called at 2 PM to ask if I could get a club regripped while I waited. My call was answered right away (most stores seem impossible to get a human on the phone without waiting on hold forever) and then when I got to the store a couple of hours later, John was able to regrip my putter in less than 5 minutes. Thank you so much!!! You're the best!

Mallory was a very helpful salesperson. She was very kind and patient showing my young son some baseball bats. We always enjoy going there. They need more people like Mallory.

Today, my experience was really good! The salesperson (young man), I forgot his name, helped me with the exercise Fitness Gear mats for my home gym and gave me helpful information about their other stores. I will be back! 👌🏽

I had a perfectly fine experience talking to their customer service. I called to see if they had a specific product in store and they were extremely helpful. He even want back and checked again for a different model after he came back on the phone and told me they didn't have the original product I was looking for. He held the product for me after telling me they had the second one.

Found what I needed quickly, this store had more stock than the buford location, staff was friendly.

HOWEVER, I do NOT recommend googling directions to this place simply by typing the city name and store name. You will not appreciate the results.

I tend to do a lot of camping and outdoors work these days. I also find myself to be quite the outdoorsman and feel that I'm quite well on the way to be an up-and-coming woodsman.

So for me, when I need a quick tent or piece of equipment to make my time out in the woods a little bit easier or more comfortable, I don't mind stepping into Dick's sporting goods and getting what I need.

Dick's sporting goods here in our community, has a pretty good basic, to intermediate selection all standard items to support the needs of a basic woodsman. I find a few tents that could suit your needs for a few days or a few weeks out in the woods. There's some other tent selections I feel that could get you through a whole entire winter.

Outside of tents, there's a standard array of periphery equipment that could definitely get a good campsite going for you. There's a standard selection of firearms and equipment so if you need to go hunting you have those tools at your disposal. Not ending there, you can work up a good compound bow as well. The selection of attractants can bring in some deer, elk, turkey, and waterfowl. with waterfowl you can find Ghillie, camouflage, waterborne equipment, kayaks it's a pretty good outfitting.

Overall I'm more attracted to the camping and outdoor supplies more than the team and individual sports supplies. But from what I understand, there's a pretty good range for getting someone started out in their favorite sport has a youngster or as an adult.

I went in to buy the things I came for and they sold them to me. I asked the kid helping me if he was in school and he said “college”. He doesn’t like college though. “It’s twice as hard and you have half the time.” He wants to study sports management. He was to young for me to ask him if that meant Jerry McGuire. I wished him well. If you ever find yourself reading this review, then make sure to stop and consider if I am a robot, fake review, or fake robot.

Always has a great selection of products and you can always find someone to help you. Every time I go to a competitor, I always wish i had gone here. A clean organized store with service associates.
