Thrifty Car Rental - Atlanta Hartsfield-jackson International A/p

Apparently they're doing a great job because it was the only rental company where there was a long line. Budget had about 4 people in line and Enterprise had none. The agent was really nice and told me all the options I had. He even gave me the choice between 3 cars. I was 42nd person in line and it took me about 40min to reach the agent's counter.
The dropoff was also as easy as it gets. There were a few agents at the return lot. I was just asked to turn off the car and leave, no paperwork required. I took the elevator hopped in the train and i was at the security check in less than 12min.

I arrived on Sunday 11/25 around 11p. I walked up to the counter, no wait, the two ladies at the desk were welcoming. My information was scanned, and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I told the lady that I wasn't expecting a good experience based on the reviews.

I walked to the garage and was greeted by another friendly employee who showed me the available vehicles. There were 3 rows of cars for me to choose from. The lady followed me around and made sure I was good before leaving. She was a bit too friendly, but it beats rude employees who act like customers are a burden.

Dollar & Thrifty is where Hertz sends their "scratch & dents." So it was no surprise that the car I received had a ding. I was staying local, so an older high mileage car wasn't too much of an issue. It was still a good deal for $20 a day.

The lady at the service counter seems to get mad when I asked her to speak up. When you are speaking with a mask on and there's a quarter inch glass that surrounds you for protection, people need to learn to speak up because it's harder to hear.

Anna Leonard helped me out and she is amazing! We arrived late to get our car because baggage so it was pushed for time before closing. She was finna leave and i asked her to help me out and she set me up good💜

I would like to say the team member by the name of Martina at the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport location is AMAZING!!! I would not be surprised if she was the manager. She was very transparent with us while we waited in line. She was Very informative and she was very empathetic with passengers who were emotional and overwhelmed. If you Ever book with this location I hope you get to have her to take care of you.

Service was great, even though they didn't have my rental. But because I was patient unlike others, the clerk got me a car quickly and thanked me for my kindness!!!!!

I had a pleasant experience regardless of all the negative reviews. (I booked my reservation through Priceline.) The ladies that helped me at the counter and at the car service desk were both very friendly. Yes, you have to put a $200 refundable deposit down but that is normal with any car rental company. They also offer extra insurance which is also optional! (It seems some reviewers didn’t know this.) Anyways they let me pick my car out of a line up of various cars. My car got very good gas milage, it was comfortable and returning it was very simple. I would definitely book with them again.

Very quick and easy pick-up. A bit difficult to find the car return. Once we found it though, it super fast.

Ricardo and the Thrifty staff were exceptionally professional during such a extremely high demand for cars and a two and half hour wait in line along with a potential three hour wait for a car on Friday 5/19/23 at HartsfieldATL pick up counter. I was very impressed with their professionalism and customer service skills in what seemed to be a disasterous situation. Kudos to Thrifty Car Rental staff in ATL!!! I had to give them their flowers for such a great job of keeping their composure and professionalism.

I rented a vehicle from Thrifty Car Rental at the Atlanta Airport and didn’t have any issues. Customer Service was great from the beginning to the end. I was in and out in no time. Car was nice and clean.

I used thrifty recently on 1/2/23. My experience was great. I rented my car at 8:00 AM so there was no line. There were plenty of cars to choose from. The staff that assisted me were helpful and polite. I didn’t have a single issue. Would use again.

Very easy to pick up and return car. We arrived at the Atlanta airport, line was short, waited maybe 2 min. Employees were very friendly. Went to get vehicle. We had plenty of cars to choose from, you could look in each vehicle and pick the one you liked. All the cars had keys in the cup holders. Car was clean and we liked what we picked. Upon return back to the airport, it was easy. line car up and leave keys in vehicle and your done. Fast and easy. I would definitely use again.. I recommend the total insurance package, its 60$ a day extra. but you have zero liability if it gets wrecked, stolen, on fire. etc.. Well work the peace of mind.

Although the line at the airport and wait for our car in the lot took very long, Michael took care of us and upgraded our vehicle for the time lost. He did what he could to make it right, and we appreciate it!

Overall great experience. I used Thrifty for a week while in New England visiting family. We put almost 1000 miles on the car and had absolutely no problems. The car was clean and in great condition. All the staff that we interacted with were professional and helpful. I will definitely use this company in the future.

🤩🤩🤩This is one happy customer. Renee(sales associate) who helped me went beyond the call of duty. Extremely professional and polite. I felt very wanted as a customer. Wasn’t sure where to pick up my car and drop it off. She literally walked me to where I needed to go. No sales pressure for add on as well. Highly recommend!!! 🤩👍🤩👍🤩👍🤩

My experience renting with the car rental app was so good, they offer me a nice deal in a mystery car and I took the chance. I get a great deal. I'm a handicap and the woman in the counter said to me that I need to wait in line for service. I use the computer that they have there to finish my rental and the PC have problems with communication.

I would be pleased to use Thrifty again in Atlanta. The Dollar/Thrifty check in line was long but it moved along quickly. The agents are professional. I went to the pick up area a very pleasant and attractive female assisted me with the selection of a vehicle. I was on a special deal where Thrifty picks the car. I suppose they had more than one car that was available at the time so I got a choice. That really was a surprise as I expected to be assigned a car. The Toyota was low mileage and clean. Overall a good experience, thank you very much
