Summits Wayside Tavern

We loved this place!! It was a random stop and now we have a favorite place we we are in the area!! The food and service was great and the tavern looks was so cozy!!

I’ve been coming here for years, usually for one of the trivia nights (they do both Wednesdays and Fridays), but haven’t written a review. They have a fantastic tap list, with basically any beer you could imagine you’d want, and in my experience even the servers who might otherwise not be expected to know much about the beers on the well seem to have a good set of “go to”s to recommend when something is out - that’s a nice touch that is not very common. I usually get the wings or the chili cheese fries. The fries are pretty good, nothing to write home about but a quality staple. But the wings here have always been great - in a shrinkflation dominated world, they remain relatively cheap and always plump and the tmi sauce is awesome. We also got the Kimchi fries this visit, and that was tasty and delightful in its heat level as well.

Awesome place! Clean bright with lots of energy. Huge tap beer selection. Bar food menu with Asian influence. Service was great with food coming out quickly. Wings we well seasoned and very meaty. Had the blue cheese chips. If you love blue cheese you will love this. Dessert was also a star. Beignet sticks with dipping sauce. If you like Taco mac, you will LOVE this place! Worth the trip!

A local legacy restaurant that has been in the community for 28 years, Summit’s is still a great sports bar for game day! The huge video screen is almost as vast as their menu. There is something on their menu for everyone and they take pride in making it good! And the beverage menu is even larger! Go Dawgs!

Delicious wings and burgers, great customer service and typical big bar atmosphere! Can’t go wrong w it! Customer service 100% every time!

Decided to get some burgers and wings for dinner after a busy day. First time trying Summits- it was delicious. The employee who took my order was very nice. The burger was perfect, really enjoyed the cheese fries. The wings were awesome too! They had a lot of flavor. They have a lot of really good sounding options on the menu. We will definitely be back to try more!

We've been coming here for several years now and have yet to be disappointed. The food is always good. Not your ordinary bar fare and definitely not your ordinary service. The staff is top notch.

I ordered the Cordon Bleu with Jalapeno Coleslaw. It was utterly delicious!

My wife ordered the Pastrami Reuben with Fries. She has room for fries. I unfortunately do not.

Our server, Brie, was energetic, polite, and well suited to work with the public. Our food came out fast and was really good.

Come on out to Summit's Wayside Tavern. They're open and serving fantastic food!

Summits has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The food, service, and environment are consistent and I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to get.

I have been by myself for lunch and large groups for dinner and the experience has always been great. The garlic fries are a must!

Really liked this Sports bar concept. Menu had plenty of choices, focused around Burgers & Wings. Menu stays focused on core competencies.What I really liked was the substantial beer selection.Thought there was good quality to value ratio here as well.

I completely love everything about this place. They even have Hockey on TV there to go with a fantastic cheesesteak or giant burger.

Outstanding beer selection. Really good food. Friendly service. Wednesday is bingo night. Thursday is trivia. Kid friendly. And there is a game room. Will be back.

Okay, this place has delicious food for sure. Has a Harvest Burger. "BYOB"

Mac n cheese is so good. Had no wait time. Good prices. Pretzel was good too.

Love this sports bar/restaurant because they have about 100 beers on tap, check out the photographed list. Pretty basic decor, good service and wide variety of good food. Nice covered patio when weather is warm.

Delish! Great beer selection. The waiter really knew the beer menu! We ordered off the Oktoberfest menu. I had apple fritters with white wine.

I always have an excellent experience at Summit. I would recommend the Hollywood Chicken Sandwich, Georgia's Best Reuben (it really is and I have had famous Reuben's at Canter's and Langer's deli in LA), and the fish and chips. Honestly all the food has been great and it is hard to beat their beer selection. If they don't have it on tap, you can likely get a can or bottle. The neighborhood bar atmosphere is welcoming and you can catch all the games. Whether lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend, don't sleep on Summit.

Good food and staff but the benches / chairs left more to be desired.

Crab legs Wednesday its really fun at The Summit Wayside Tavern. I had the "Big Labusky" polish sausage, with great local IPA's to washed down. I had a Hopolatia from New Realm Brewery. Great beer.

What a neighborhood sports bar should be. Great burgers and wings and the Bavarian pretzel is excellent. Enough beer on tap to drown an elephant. This used to be a Taco Mac and keeps the same style tap wall. They have monthly events and special keg tappings if you're into that. Really good bartenders and good servers for the most part. We love doing trivia here.
