This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in the area. They have the same great tasting fried rice like I used to get as a kid in Kirkwood. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and the food is always cooked with pride

Ordered carry out from there last night and everything was absolutely delicious! It’s under new management so the way the food is prepared has changed quite a bit and is a lot fresher and flavorful than under previous management. It’s seriously some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Crestwood area. I just wish they would use non-plastic/styrofoam containers and switch to more environmentally friendly biodegradable packaging.

It's hard to find a chinese restaurant that makes their chicken chop suey with brown sauce, but they did it upon request here and it was phenomenal! The Crab rangoon was delicious and tasted fresh, too. Will absolutely be back!

Food is generous in portion, delicious and reasonably priced. Would HIGHLY recommend. Jackie, the owner, is very sweet.

I am looking at all the good reviews here and am wondering if I just arrived on a bad day. The staff was VERY friendly and helped me rectify some mistakes I had made with online ordering. Having said that, I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork with Chicken Fried Rice. When we got home, there was no Sweet and Sour Sauce with our order. I was annoyed.

Update: Changing to 5 star review.
I couldn't get the craving for Sweet and Sour Pork out of me, so I decided to get some again today (23rd April, 2023). This time I phoned them with my order and told them that I had not received my sweet and sour sauce with my last order. Well bless his heart, he remembered me (I have an accent). He asked me what he could do for me today and I said I just want some sweet and sour sauce with my pork today. "We gonna make it up to you today!" he chirped. Well, who wouldn't start laughing at that. I went home with lots of pork and rice and an eggroll AND that all important sauce. Oh, it was delicious! And I was happy. Where else do you get all that lovely food for just $10.00?

Stopped for takeout on a Monday night. The chef was the only person working: Service was excellent, food was outstanding. Their roasted pork fried rice is the best fried rice I've ever had. The Mongolian beef was nicely seasoned: spicy but also very flavorful with an even blend of green and yellow onions. Very reasonable prices, and fast. Nice decor, cozy ambiance, with new and impeccably clean tables.

This is absolutely our favorite take-out place. We have ordered from China King on Watson several times since moving to the area, and we've been happy with every different dish we've ordered. I try something new every other time and have never been disappointed. It's a lot of food for the money, in addition to being so tasty, so it's a great value. We have tried other Chinese take-out places in the area that we felt were just OK, but agreed this one is superior. The staff is also very nice to top it all off.

Our family loves China King. They are such kind people and so incredibly generous with their portions. The food is absolutely delicious. The pork lo mein is unbelievably good. We’ve never had anything that wasn’t super tasty. Hands down our favorite local place.

Danny, the owner, was helpful and personable--and a good cook! We enjoyed our meal of crab Rangoon, pork chow mein, and chicken chop suey. We'll be back!

My family loves eating here. The owners are friendly and the food is amazing. If you order something extra spicy, you will be able to taste that they added the extra spice. The crab rangoon and hot and sour soup is awesome.

Fresh hot food was delicious! The new owners are fantastic. Try their egg rolls, especially, with spring roll wrapping, and the Banh mi with BBQ pork.

Scrumptious, hot AND freshly made soup. Staff was so nice, and made my food just for me. Now I know why the reviews are so good. I'll be back before I leave, everything was so tasty. Thank u for doing an amazing job.

Not super restaurant but overall great food for the affordable price. The owners are so friendly and kind. The staffs are sweet. THEY SPOKE HALF OF THE ENGLISH WELL TO PASS ALL SAVINGS TO US! Let support them! Support small business, support small dream:) and fill our empty stomach \o/

Their hot & sour soup is some of the best I've ever had. It is very flavorful, and loaded with vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and a great blend of seasoning. The pork fried rice was fresh out of the wok, full flavor, and there was no skimping on the pork!

Many people who write bad reviews about this place expect the food to be top tier. But sorry to burst your bubble but it's not going to be amazing. The food is decent and there IS NO FISH TANK! The soda is NOT flat (most of the time) AND don't forget that that they only have 2 to 3 people running this place, so the tables aren't always going to be clean and dirty dishes are going to get yaken care of, just not IMMEDIATELY

My wife and I love this place and get it quite frequently. Pretty much only order the chicken & broccoli with white rice but we love it. We miss the former cashier with the bowl cut, but the new guy is good too.

The owner and his daughter are extremely nice! The food is really good! Definitely will be a regular customer 🥺!
