Bet-R is a great hidden gem. I love that the store is never packed and I can shop in peace . I love the fresh meat 🥩 and vegetables also. The workers are helpful and respectful.

Great local market without having to fight traffic or deal with employees that dont want to work like the big box stores.

Suprisingly, one of the best locations for interesting and unusual plants around town. They are located right inside the doors when you walk in. And the prices are great.

This store is so clean. The employees are the best I’ve ever seen. Such great customer service, very friendly. Their hot plate lunches and breakfast are delicious. The meat department is quality. I try to stop here to shop anytime I’m in the area.

Very homey feel to the store. People were greeting each other & the store employees were all friendly & happy that I'd stopped by once I told them a coupon brought me there. A quick look & I could see that even though it's a smaller store, they have quality products in stock. Some were happy surprises.

Since it is closer to where I work, I was happy to see a yummy looking regular hot lunch menu.

I really enjoy having a locally-owned neighborhood grocery where the staff and owner know me and are pleasant. They have a great assortment of products and will work with you to carry something you want if they don't currently carry it. They have really upped their wine game. Beer selection is excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Bet-R is so far the best store I've been to for customer service! A little pricey but its worth it with the awesome way they treat the customers. There is only one worker there that I do not think has good customer service. The rest are great

I absolutely love this grocery store. They have such a good selection of items that you can't find at Albertsons or Walmart or even Trader Joe's. Their wine selection is by far the best in town. Their butchers and deli personnel are the nicest in town. The managers are always so helpful and even though it has been slow at the store the cashiers are still very attentive.

Great neighborhood grocery! They have an excellent selection of products, a good If small deli, and a terrific selection of beer and wine. The owner and staff are cheerful and happy to assist. They will do their best to find and stock something if they don't have it. Highly recommended if you like a personal touch.

Wonderful neighborhood grocery store for those that live in the Garden District or surrounding neighborhoods. After moving here from a more rural setting, where I grew up, I really appreciate the convenience of being able to ride to the store on my bicycle to pick up a few random things for dinner. The staff is very friendly, and they always have more than I expect.

The food in the hot case is top notch, BREAKFAST! & produce always quality. ( and they mark down produce wich is fantastic if you know you’ll use it the same day. Not always the cheapest, but have great sales & offer a really wide variety of local products.
They also a real supporters of local community, i love the young man with Downs who is there in the mornings to help out, bag groceries, & greets everyone with a super sunshine smile.

I really enjoy the employees of this local store. Briauna and the rest of the young ladies and men are such great people who works hard to make sure their customers are satisfy. They are all hard workers including Mr. Cliff, the owner; he will help you when ever you need help.

I came in to get a cool refreshing bottle of water, but me being the klutz I am was having difficulty finding it. Quickly an employee (I believe his name was Kaleb) guided me to where I could buy individual bottles of water. I was impressed because at most stores they simply tell you where to go, but the employees at Bet-R actually take the time to personally guide you. Bet-R really proves why shopping local is worth it. Cannot recommend enough.
